Chapter 264 – Keeping my word

"It’s now my turn, isn’t it?" Noah said with a bright smile, a smile so different from the one he had just shown Bari, and at this, Sylphira couldn’t help but curse under her breath, calling him a lunatic monster.

Because seriously, where can you find a being who turns a domain, that was supposed to be a damn domain, into weapons?

It was as if a mortal grabbed space and decided to mold it into a blade.

Unthinkable.

And yet, Noah did it.

And not only that... he added his authority into the mix by naming those five spears.

The Sealers of Divine.

Weapons made to seal divine beings and they did their job perfectly, rendering Sylphira, a Law Creator rank, completely helpless.

"How do you possess such a domain and authority?"

"How is this even possible?"

Sylphira couldn’t help but ask again, but as always, Noah ignored her.

Right now, this little sister of Shadeva wasn’t his concern.

His mind was already racing, already crafting the most spectacular end possible for this battle and he had to make it so.

’I can’t disgrace myself by doing less than my wives, right?’

’I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t let live it down and they’ll remind of it every damn ti.’ Noah thought with a ntal sigh, because honestly... the girls could be very persistent when they wanted to be.

So, he began to think.

He had many paths he could explore—after all, he had many types of power.

He considered returning to the first affinity he ever wielded... ice. But he didn’t want to compete with his mother.

Sa for sword, lightning, plasma... and all the others.

He didn’t want to use any affinity the won had just displayed.

Instead,

’Let just use my authority,’ Noah decided.

His authority was versatile beyond comprehension, he didn’t even know all the ways it could be used yet, so he decided to experint with his Epithet.

Instantly, he cast a ti-altering spell around him. A spell that slowed ti so that one day for him would equal only one hour in the outside world. Alongside it, he drank a potion he’d specifically crafted for monts like this.

The Enlightennt Potion.

The mont it entered his system, it felt like his mind expanded beyond limit—and the cosmos itself poured into his head, stripping itself bare, offering up its mysteries like a lover who had waited all day to be fucked at night.

In that state, his thoughts beca sharper, clearer, more focused.

This helped him dismantle his authority, analyze it, break it apart, and reassemble it into sothing far more potent.

’Titles... nas... anything can be nad. And if anything can be nad... then anything can be a na. And if I can na anything, then I can even na... a realm.’

’aning, I can na the Shadow Realm.’ Noah’s thoughts surged, spiraling as he ca to that dangerous, brilliant conclusion.

And that’s when the enlightennt potion truly showed its value, because now he had to choose a na.

A real na.

One that suited this realm, one that matched its future.

Death? Or sothing else?

That, Noah had decided long ago. After all...

’Didn’t I promise to make my first shadow a queen, just like Shadeva?’ Noah thought with a quiet smile.

He hadn’t forgotten. He never would.

So, he might as well finish all of this while keeping his word—and the mont he made that decision... a na appeared inside his mind.

Simple. So simple, in fact. But the weight, the sincerity, the authority behind it were anything but simple.

He opened his mouth, and the realm quieted.

It gave him the floor—La parole, as our French friends would say—and so Noah mockingly accepted the realm’s courtesy, even though, truly, it didn’t have a choice.

"Epithet."

Noah’s voice echoed through the entire Shadow Realm, reaching everything and everyone inside.

His won. The commanders. The shadow soldiers. The mundane. The beasts. Even the Shadow Realm itself—its Will—was paying close attention to his words.

"Shadow Realm, your na shall be... Ester’s Throne of Devoted Silence."

Silence.

The whole realm plunged into a silence so deep, you could hear the ragged, wheezing breaths of the realm itself—showing how strained it was.

It was a silence of disbelief, of shock.

Not one of the girls expected this.

Not even Ester herself.

She knew Noah would keep his promise but not like this.

She stood there, gazing at the sky, her eyes starting to glisten with tears.

But Noah wasn’t done.

His voice continued to ripple through the void like thunder disguised in velvet.

"You are more than worthy. You’ve been with since the beginning, you’ve seen at my worst and at my best, as my ever-watching shadow."

"You were there when I was nothing. When, to the rest of the world, I was just the spoiled child of the Duchess of Eternal Cold."

"You... and Neko... were with ."

The girls all smiled. And the most emotional among them began to tear up.

"You watched in silence... in devotion... and in love."

"So you deserve this realm. You deserve all of it. And from now on..."

"...you are The Formless Queen of Shadow."

These words echoed through her soul, etched deep inside her being, as Noah nad her. And this na...

{You have received your True Na: Formless Queen of Shadow.}

{Congratulations, Ester Vaelgrim.}

This na, given by Noah, beca her true na and Ester could not have been happier.

She felt sothing settle inside of her, a shift, a crown gently placed upon her soul.

And at the sa ti... a new connection began to form.

A connection between her and...

Ester’s thoughts stopped as she looked down—looked around.

The entire Shadow Realm was trembling.

Trembling violently, and starting to fracture.

It was trying, desperately, to reject the na Noah had given it.

Noah sensed it and frowned.

’Pri Worlds’ wills really are on another level,’ he thought as he watched the realm slowly destroying itself out of sheer refusal.

And that?

That wasn’t sothing Noah could never accept. Not after giving such a long-ass speech.

’No way in hell.’ He thought with cold determination before raising his hand and tearing space open in front of him.

And not delicately.

He ripped it open the sa way two won would tear at each other’s hair in a brutal fight.

Rough. Direct. No grace.

He stepped into the rupture, and instantly found himself in a different place.

A place that scread shadow.

Everything here was shadow, swirling and shifting. But if you looked closely, you’d see it wasn’t just one kind of shadow.

It was every type of shadow.

Mixed together.

Forming sothing entirely new, sothing Noah had never seen before, never even imagined.

It was breathtaking.

But he was in a rush.

He scanned the space and finally his eyes landed on her.

A beautiful woman, her body composed of all the different shadows around her.

But her form was curled inward, trembling, as if consud by imnse pain.

She looked up at Noah, eyes burning with hatred and fury.

He smiled.

"Don’t look at like that, beautiful lady."

"You’ll make embarrassed to ask you for a small little favor."
