They sat down in the guest room and Lukas looked at Emily calmly, "You ran out of food?"
Emily nodded, "It’s been three days now, I was planning to go out tomorrow to see my luck but given the fact that the nearest convenience store was still a few streets away, I wouldn’t have survived"
Lukas nodded, it was true. If she had gone with a gun and fired even a single shot, she would have been sward by dead walkers.

about Hannah and Grace... please say they are fine" Emily looked at him with a hopeful expression.
Lukas gave a slight nod, "Don’t worry, they are fine, aunt."
Emily took a breath of relief, "Good to know that"
"Aunt, since you were alive, why haven’t you contacted us?"
Emily smiled ruefully, "I was outside when the first humans turned into zombies. I t one while I was in the parking lot of convience store. I was too shocked and threw my phone at his face since he had co too close and imdiately entered the vehicle before driving away.

Lukas narrated everything calmly and the circumstances which led to the awakening of his power.
Emily listened to everything and nodded, "Well, thank god you are safe"

"What happened?" Emily was surprised.
"Nothing aunt, just going to bring the bowl"

When he ca back, he was holding a bowl of steaming hot soup and looking at that Emily got surprised. The rich aroma coming from the soup was enough to make her mouth salivate at an unstoppable rate.
"Did you make it right now?" He can’t make soup in just a few seconds. She also couldn’t see anything else on him and his pockets looked empty too. The bow he was carrying is also not on him right now.
"Aunt you already know the answer that I can’t make it instantly so why even ask that... It’s related to my powers. Anyway drink it slowly" Lukas passed her the soup and sat down on his seat.
Emily didn’t stand on ceremony, she imdiately grabbed the spoon and started cooling the soup a little bit.
Lukas smiled and began thinking about how he should proceed now. He can save her by bringing her with him but that would an that she might not beco his harem mber too soon.

"Seriously...what kind of power is this, making things disappear and reappear, like storing them sowhere?" As she drank the soup Emily felt quite relaxed. Her body felt quite energized with only a few sips she had taken.
Lukas nodded, "Sothing like that... Aunt I want to tell you sothing"
"Hm... what is it?"
"Here is the thing, in a few days zombies will grow stronger. They will evolve to level one from zero, aning their strength would increase further..."
Emily got shocked, "Isn’t that ans that going out will be almost impossible?"
Lukas nodded, "Indeed, Aunt evolvers get level up too but they definitely can’t keep up the speed of zombies leveling up... the issue isn’t them getting stronger aunt, it is them getting smarter.
These zombies are like mindless beasts and are easy to kill but what if they beco smart enough to just understand few things..." He didn’t say further as he had a feeling that she would understand what he was getting at.
Sure enough Emily trembled as she understood the real implications. If zombies beco smart enough to think of breaking into houses then even a gun won’t be able to stop them unless she can hit all of them in their necks, "H-How are you so sure that they will beco stronger and how long do we have left?"
Lukas shrugged his shoulders, "I just saw so of them already consuming each other to get stronger while coming here"
