lissa smiled sweetly.

"Oh, nothing much. Just that your son completely ignored my ssages about it."

Margaret's gaze imdiately shifted to Ethan, who groaned. "I didn't do it on purpose."

What was it with won and spas though?

lissa crossed her arms. "Mhm. Sure."

Claire smirked. "Wow, Ethan. Ghosting people now?"

Ethan shot her a flat look. "Claire, you ignore people all the ti."

"Yes, but I'm upfront about it," she said, shrugging.

Harold chuckled while Margaret sighed.

"Ethan, you need to keep up with everything. Especially if it's sothing as important as the spa."

"I know, I know," Ethan muttered. "I'll check the ssages later."

lissa leaned back. "Good. Because I have several updates."

Ethan groaned again, already knowing he was in for a long debriefing.

Julia, sensing the shift in mood, suddenly perked up. "Ooh and g saw a crab!"

Margaret looked intrigued. "A crab?"

Julia nodded excitedly. "A crab tried to steal our shells! We chased it away!"

Ethan smirked. "That's my girl."

Ethan and lissa soon walked away from the restaurant section of the resort, leaving his parents behind to enjoy their al.

Julia had whined about wanting to stay with him, but Margaret had quickly distracted her with the promise of dessert.

"She's got you wrapped around her little finger, huh?" lissa smirked as they made their way toward the office.

Ethan huffed. "Jules? Always. Kid knows exactly how to get what she wants."

lissa chuckled. "Yeah, I noticed."

The walk to the office was short, but as they neared the door, faint music drifted from inside.

Ethan recognized the bass-heavy beat imdiately and sighed.

"Let guess," lissa said, glancing at him. "Zack?"

"Zack," Ethan confird, already bracing himself.

He pushed open the door, and sure enough, Zack was leaning back in his chair, arms crossed behind his head, earbuds on and completely lost in the music.

lissa crossed her arms. "Unbelievable."

Ethan stepped forward and waved a hand in front of Zack's face.

Nothing..

lissa grabbed the nearest object — a notepad — and chucked it at him.

The pad smacked against Zack's chest, and he yelped, jerking upright.

His earbud slipped off on one ear, and his wide eyes darted between them.

"Jesus, lissa!" he spluttered. "What the hell was that for?"

lissa raised an eyebrow. "What do you think?"

Zack blinked, then glanced at Ethan. "Am I in trouble?"

Ethan sighed. "Not exactly, but we do have work to do."

Zack groaned, rubbing his face. "Man, I was just trying to vibe before you two walked in here with your bad energy."

lissa scoffed. "Bad energy? Zack, you're supposed to be working."

"I was working," Zack defended. "I just needed a little… creative motivation."

Ethan ignored him and walked over to the large whiteboard they used for planning. "Let's just get to it. lissa has ideas for the spa renovations we need to go over."

Zack sat up a bit straighter. "Oh? Spa renovations? Now we're talking. Lay it on ."

lissa shot Ethan a look that practically scread 'see, this is why I was mad' before stepping forward.

"Alright," she started, pulling out her notes. "The biggest issue right now is spacing. We want to upgrade the spa experience, but we can't exactly knock down walls. So, we have to work within the current layout."

Zack nodded along, suddenly far more engaged. "Gotcha. So, what are we thinking? New equipnt? Better massage rooms?"

"Both," lissa confird. "But more than that, I want to add a proper relaxation lounge. Right now, people finish their treatnts and have nowhere to go but back out into the sun or straight to their rooms. If we set up a lounge with dim lighting, comfortable seating, maybe even so herbal teas and infused water, people will actually linger and enjoy the atmosphere. That builds custor satisfaction and retention."

Ethan rubbed his chin. "That's… actually a solid idea."

lissa rolled her eyes. "I know it's a solid idea."

Zack chuckled. "Alright, boss man, what do you think? We got the space for it?"

Ethan studied the rough sketches on the board. The current spa layout was functional but basic.

lissa was right — there was no dedicated area for post-treatnt relaxation.

But if they reorganized so of the lesser-used spaces…

"We could convert the storage room next to the massage suites," he mused. "It's barely being used for anything important. Just so excess inventory we could easily relocate."

lissa snapped her fingers. "Exactly what I was thinking."

Zack grinned. "I like it. Upscale spa, fancy lounge, rich people chilling in bathrobes… Sounds like a hit."

Ethan chuckled. "We'll need to run the numbers, but I think it's doable."

lissa nodded, already jotting down notes. "I'll handle that. I also want to update the treatnt nu — bring in so specialty massages, maybe a few unique skincare treatnts."

"Like what?" Zack asked, leaning back again.

lissa tapped her pen against her notepad. "Ever heard of a gold-infused facial?"

Zack's eyebrows shot up. "Like… actual gold?"

"Yep."

Ethan gave her a skeptical look. "And people pay for that?"

lissa smirked. "Oh, they pay big. Rich clients love luxury treatnts, and gold facials are a thing. If we add sothing high-end and exclusive, we'll bring in a whole new level of clientele."

Zack whistled. "Damn. I an, I'd try it."

lissa snorted. "Not for free, you wouldn't." Experience tales with My Virtual Library Empire

Ethan chuckled but nodded. "Alright, let's do it. We'll need to hire more specialists, though."

lissa waved a hand. "I'll handle that, too."

Zack smirked. "Damn, lissa, if you keep this up, you're gonna take my job."

lissa grinned. "Don't tempt ."

Ethan shook his head, amused. "Alright, we'll move forward with the spa plans steadily."

lissa exhaled, closing her notebook. "Well, I think that covers everything on my end."

Ethan stretched. "Not bad for a day's work."

Zack groaned. "Man, I need another break already."

lissa shot him a glare. "You just had a break."

Zack grinned. "And it wasn't long enough."

Ethan shook his head but let out a small laugh.
