Concerned about Karena’s well-being, Roland temporarily bid farewell to his mother and headed next door to the Kaur residence.

Fortunately, Roland had a key to the Kaur’s house, allowing him to enter without knocking.

There was no need for formalities between the two families; they had long since abandoned any pretense of privacy, practically living as one household.

In fact, Roland admitted that he had often woken up to find Karena sleeping beside him, having brazenly invaded his room as if it were her own. She treated his room like her personal bedroom, coming and going as she pleased!

Not that Roland minded at all, of course.

Only a fool would object to such an arrangent—unless, perhaps, a donkey had kicked him in the head.

But my mother was being unreasonable. Knowing full well how close I and Karena were, she still insisted to go on a matchmaking date with the Yukino family. What exactly was she scheming in that brain?

In any case, Roland entered the Kaur’s family’s ho.

Both their houses were identical: neon-lit detached hos, essentially small three-story Western-style villas.

It had to be said, such a large house felt rather empty and even a little dangerous with only a stunningly beautiful mother and daughter living there.

As for why it’s just the mother and daughter? Where’s Karena’s father?

It’s rather sad to say but Mr. Kaur , Karena father was long gone, claid by kxk Syndro.

Perhaps because their own house felt so empty, the mother and daughter pair often stayed at Roland’s place.

After all, his family also consisted of just two people, leaving plenty of spare rooms. Clearing one out for the mother and daughter was no problem at all.

As for why only one room? Shouldn’t it be two?

Well, the cleared room was only for the Karena mother, Kasumi. Karena herself didn’t need a separate room—she always insisted on staying in my room.

Over the years, we have shared a room countless tis.

If Roland rembered correctly, their longest streak of sleeping together without separation was a full year...

Now you understand, right? Karena probably already sees herself as Roland’s wife, never even considering the possibility of them separating. So when she suddenly heard that he had gone to the Yukino family for a matchmaking eting, it would be a miracle if she could accept it.

Thinking about this, Roland couldn’t help but feel a pang of sympathy for Karena. He should hurry and tell her about their breakup, not wanting her to suffer another mont of tornt.

"Aunt Kasumi, I’m back!"

As Roland stepped into the Kaur’s family ho, he first encountered a mature and alluringly beautiful woman in the living room.

How beautiful? Well, she could rival Aunt Yukio’s beauty, of course!

But Aunt Kasumi dressing style is different from Aunt Yukio, she likes to dressed herself more in trendy clothes outside but one thing she always wear is that black dot she called as ’bindi’ in her forehead most of the tis.

Aunt Kasumi’s aura differed sowhat from Aunt Yukio’s. Aunt Yukio exuded the air of a refined noblewoman, while Aunt Kasumi carried a more maternal warmth, her maternal instincts seeming even stronger than Aunt Yukio’s.

As for which aura was more captivating? Each had its own unique charm, of course! Beauty is for the beholder and he is the best beholder.

Ultimately, it all ca down to outer looks. If you weren’t beautiful, who cared about your aura? No one would even glance at you twice!

Let’s face it: this is a looks-obsessed society!

"My Roland is here! Welco ho! Co over here to Aunt Kasumi!"

Karena mother had been listlessly leaning against the sofa, her mind wandering to who-knows-where.

But the mont she heard Roland’s voice, she seed to co alive, suddenly radiating vitality.

It seed her absent-mindedness was likely due to thinking about Roland.

Perhaps she had spent the entire afternoon at ho, anxiously waiting for him to return, maybe nearly driven mad by the wait.

"Alright, Aunt Kasumi," Roland said obediently, approaching her as she gazed at him with shining eyes.

Before he could even sit beside her, Kasumi stood up and wrapped him in a tight embrace, clinging to him as if she never wanted to let go. To an outsider, it would have looked like she was reuniting with her long-lost son.

"Roland, I’m so glad you’re back. Stay with your Aunt Kasumi from now on, okay? Don’t go anywhere else," she pleaded, her voice tinged with fear of losing him again.

After the matchmaking incident, she had fully realized Roland’s importance to her and their family.

Whenever she imagined Roland suffering humiliation at the Yukino Family’s hands, her heart ached with unbearable pain. When she think about it there is a weight in her chest.

She couldn’t accept losing him. She vowed to reclaim him, no matter what it took!

Her desperate, anguished expression left Roland utterly at a loss.

Of course, he wanted to stay by Kasumi’s side forever. But her words clearly carried a deeper aning: did she want him to leave Yukio and be with her alone?

He certainly didn’t mind being with Kasumi, but could he really abandon Yukio now, a noblewoman whose allure he had already tasted!

Once soone’s experienced the pleasures of a mature noblewoman, they’re impossible to forget.

So Roland gave a compromise: "Together forever? What about when I need to sleep?"

Karena mother was clearly taken aback by his response, montarily stunned. But then, as if steeling her resolve, she tightened her embrace, pressed her forehead against his nape as she couldn’t reach his face, and replied with tender affection, "You little rascal, aren’t you being a bit demanding?"

"It’s you who said we have to be together all the ti," Roland’s said facing Kasumi gaze but did not flinch, and even slowly stroked the palm of his hand on Kasumi hand, and then led the other party to adjust the posture, and finally both of their hands interlocked together.

This behaviour is like a clear indication to Kasumi’s that his feelings towards the place are not simple anymore.

Kasumi could feel the touch of Roland clasped fingers, her heartbeat inexplicably accelerated up, and then she also unconsciously tightly clasped the other side of the hand.

This child ...

This bad boy actually want to touch like this?

How dare he show such bad thoughts to his elders?

It’s not possible that Yukio has ruined my innocent Roland, is it?

Wait a minute. Doesn’t that an that Roland’s and that Yukio have done sothing out of the ordinary with each other already?
