Xin i felt as if soone was crushing her heart when she heard the words of Su Yuchen. Her heart had stopped beating for a second and she was looking at the serious face of Su Yuchen without any blink of an eye.
Was he also going to cheat upon her like Qian Fan?
Su Yuchen looked at the sad face of Xin i and couldn't help himself from smiling in triumph. The sad expression on her face confird him that she also had feelings for him. She was feeling sad at the thought of him leaving her.
He placed his finger below her chin and lifted it. He looked in her eyes which had unshed tears.
"Don't be sad Xin i. I was teasing you." He said in a soft voice. "Last day, I have promised you that I will never leave you and this Su Yuchen always stands strong on his promise. I will never leave you, not for Mian or so other girl. Now you are the won of my life, no one else."
He gently placed his thumb under her eyes and removed the tear before it could fall.
"About the pin-code, I have already changed all the pin-codes to your birthdate. I only forget to change the pin-code of my black card. I will get it changed imdiately. You don't need to feel insecure of Mian, ok."
Xin i nodded her head when she looked at the in his eyes, they were full of sincerity.
"What will you do if Mian cos back?" She asked, her voice was hoarse.
"I will treat her the way a friend should treat another friend," Su Yuchen shrugged and switched off the stove. "I will help her in finding a job, a place to live in and probably, I will help her in getting married to a prospective groom. That's it. She is no longer my love but my best friend."
"She was my past. I will not let her affect my present and future, which is you." Su Yuchen ran his knuckles over her cheeks. Xin i smiled when she heard Su Yuchen.
She could feel her heart was calming down upon hearing his words. At least he wasn't going to leave her!
"You go to the dining table. I will serve you breakfast."
"Let help you, wife. You have already done enough in the morning by cooking a al for ."
Su Yuchen took the dishes from her hand and took them to the dining room. Xin i carried a jar of juice and two glasses in her hand and made her way toward the dining room.
Both husband and wife sat opposite to one another and started to have their food. Food cooked by her was so delicious that Su Yuchen was continuously comnting on the talent of his wife.
"Wife, if you keep cooking such a delicious treats for then I am sure to gain weight within a month."
Xin i smiled at his complint and placed more food on his plate.
"Your wife will feel glad if she can serve her husband. Mother has always taught , a good wife is the one who can keep the stomach of her husband full in any kind of condition."
Su Yuchen nodded his head and continued with his food. They both were enjoying their food when their maid arrived. She was shocked when she saw the smile on the lips of Su Yuchen.
"Wang Fei, co here and et the mistress of this house." Su Yuchen called for the maid.
"Xin i, et Wang Fei. She is responsible to clean the house. And Wang Fei, she is your mistress. From now on, you will be listening to her orders."
With shock in her eyes, Wang Fei looked at Xin i. She was her mistress? But when did her master married? She couldn't control her curiosity and spoke out the question.
"Master, when did you marry?"
"I married last day, Wang Fei and don't worry, I haven't forgotten the bonus. This month I will pay you double."
Wang Fei smiled with happiness. She gave her happy blessings to the newlywed couple. She officially introduced herself to Xin i and bowed toward her, before leaving the couple to finish their breakfast.
"Xin i, now that we are married, I want to make so rules for us."
Su Yuchen spoke with seriousness and Xin i looked at him with a surprised face, waiting to know what rules he was going to break in front of her.
"Don't look at like that. I am making rules, not so killing plans," Su Yuchen chuckled. "I think we need so rules for a happy wedding life."
Xin i nodded her head and listened to him with alertness.
"So the first rule is, we will never hide a thing from one another. We will always share our feelings with one another. I don't want us to have any misunderstandings."
"Agreed," Xin i gave him thumbs up. As husband and wife, they should learn to share their secrets.
"The second rule is, in the evening, we will chat with one another about our day. That way we can get closer."
"Agreed."
Like that, Su Yuchen spoke so rules and Xin i agreed to each one of them. She knew they would live happily if they followed those rules.
After breakfast, Su Yuchen stood up from his seat. He was about to make his way toward the garage when he rembered sothing. He stopped in his steps and looked at Xin i.
"Xin i, you haven't signed under any managent company, right?" he asked. He knew the answer but still wanted to confirm the sa with her.
"No, I don't want to join any managent company before making a na for myself. I have promised He Ye that I will sign under him after getting an award for the movie, Revenge."
"I don't think your decision is right, Xin i," Su Yuchen walked and stopped in front of her. "You can't sit ideally and wait for the movie revenge to release. I think you should join a company which will give you the needed exposure. You can't depend solely upon revenge for your success. You need to sign in other movies and work in the advertisent to have your na."
"I am not much active with entertainnt industry but from what I have seen, I will advise you to join a managent company."
Xin i nodded her head upon hearing him. She could understand his point of view. He Ye had also said her the sa thing, not only a few days ago. She needed a manager who can give her a boast now.
"Why not join Heritage entertainnt? There you will get the best resources. I am sure, within a year, you will have your na and a fan base."
"Nah, I am not joining Heritage entertainnt." Xin i denied.
"Why? As my wife, heritage entertainnt is your company. Don't you want to join our company?"
"Su Yuchen, it's not like this. I have already promised Ye gege, I will be an artist under him. Besides, heritage entertainnt always selects the artists who already have a na, unlike . I don't want to be a part of heritage entertainnt because I am your wife but because I deserve it.
I don't want other artists to speak behind my back that I got to be a part of heritage because of so deep connections."
"Got it." Su Yuchen gave her a tight-lipped smile where his mind was running sowhere else.
Su Yuchen kissed on her forehead, much to her surprise and made his way toward the garage. Xin i decided to send him off so she followed after him.
She was walking when accidentally, an expensive vase crashed down on the floor, breaking into pieces and all thanks to her clumsiness.
Xin i knew the vase was expensive so she looked forward to the scolding of her husband.
