Xin i arrived at the hotel where the engagent party was taking place. She was imdiately surrounded by the paparazzi who were reporting this engagent party.
Lu Soujin was the head of Heritage, an important part of Su corporation. So, it was clear that his party was going to be star-studded with the expected presence of Su Yuchen.
After giving a small interview to the reports and giving the couple good wishes for their future life, Xin i entered inside the hotel and to the ballroom.
"You are looking beautiful, Xin i."
TingTing walked toward Xin i and praised her.
Tonight, Xin i was wearing a jade coloured channel gown. In her hand and ears, she was wearing jade earring and bracelet but what highlighted tonight was the five stone jade necklaces resting on her neck.
"Hey, is this the famous necklace which was auctioned a few days back?" TingTing asked with surprise.
Xin i smiled and looked at TingTing. "Yes, it is."
A few days back, a necklace was put on auction by one of the royal family. The jade stones of this necklace were. Unique. They changed color when put in light or with change in the weather.
This necklace was purchased by Su Yuchen for Xin i.
Tonight, when he saw her dress, he urged her to wear it. Xin i was in denial because she knew this necklace was still very famous but Su Yuchen forced her.
"For how long are you not going to wear the unique jewelleries in your collection?"
So, Xin i was forced to wear this necklace tonight. Besides, he was right, for how long was going to hide such antique pieces of a jewelleries in her locker?
"You are lucky that your father purchases such unique items for you." TingTing praised Xin i and Xin i smiled.

Xin i tried to chat with everyone. But females actresses showed resistance toward her. They were not ready to talk with her. They were being rude toward her because they were jealous.
"So, this is the necklace which has beco the talk of the night." Xin i rolled her eyes when she heard mocking in the voice of Ning Xiao.
"So people can never change." Xin i sarcastically remarked and looked at Ning Xiao. "It hasn't been a long ti that I have disclosed, you and Su Yuchen are not together but here you are, still with your attitude. And not to forget about your scandal with Lee Woo."
"You…" Ning Xiao gritted her teeth when she heard Xin i. "Did you not see my press conference where I have proved that I did not sleep with Lee Woo for a movie?"
Ning Xiao fisted her hands tight and glared at Xin i.
"Ning Xiao, I have seen the press conference but I also know heritage had webbed lies to protect you. After all you are also an artist under heritage." Xin i smirked and looked at the pale face of Ning Xiao. "Ning Xiao, you are still of low class. A girl who used to sleep with professors to get in their good terms."
Ning Xiao whitened when she heard Xin i. In past, Xin i was always quite but this Xin i in front of her seed foreign to her. Fear settled in the heart of Ning Xiao and she looked at Xin i.
"I rember Zhou Mingyu telling how you got your first film. You slept…"
"Enough." Ning Xiao yelled and looked around. Everyone was looking at her. So, she tried to act pitiful.
"Enough of lying Xin i. Why are you trying to degrade ? Did you not feel satisfied after spreading false rumors that I am not with Su Yuchen? Are you not happy that Lee Woo took my na and I was in scandal because of it? After destroying the career of Zhou Mingyu, are you trying to destroy my career?"
Ning Xiao faked a sob and looked down. Tears started to fell from her eyes and she acted pitifully.
"Is there so problem?"
Ning Xiao stiffened when she heard the voice of Su Yuchen. He was mostly absent in the parties thrown by his subordinates so she did not expect his presence tonight.
"Mister Su, you are right on ti." Xin i bead. "Ning Xiao is blaming that I am spreading rumors that you are not her boyfriend. Will you please clear everything out?"
Xin i wrapped her arms around her chest and looked at Ning Xiao with challenging eyes. Her lips were tilted up in a smirk. She glanced at Su Yuchen and he smirked.
"Yes, I will." Su Yuchen then looked at the Lu Soujin with guilty expression on his face. "I am sorry to take the lilight at your party but I will like to clear that, Ning Xiao and I have nothing in between us. I have already made it clear, and I will again say the sa, Ning Xiao is a stranger to ."
"I suggested her to heritage only because she had accidentally helped my grandmother." The clear voice of Su Yuchen rung around the room. "Still if anyone, who still believes that Ning Xiao and I are a thing, and deals with her thinking the sa, then I bow to you. You are the most stupid person out there."
Ning Xiao looked are Su Yuchen with tears in her eyes. Her breath was raspy. "Su Yuchen, please don't lie. Don't fight we…."
"Miss Ning, stop with your act. And it's Mr. Su for you." Su Yuchen yelled. "I have not said a thing to you does not an I don't know about your drama. I was only bearing you because I felt gratitude toward you. But now no more.
So, leave my arm."
Ning Xiao shivered when she heard the anger and coldness in the voice of Su Yuchen. Every guest also subconsciously stepped back when they heard him.
"Mister Lu, now you can start your function. Everyone please, enjoy the engagent party of miss Lu and give your blessings to her instead of gossiping around."
After that everyone started to enjoy the party. They wanted to gossip about Ning Xiao but they did not dare in the fear that Su Yuchen would beco angry with them.

Xin i was enjoying the party. She liked the snacks and all the food delicacies. She loved the chocolate pastries a lot. They were mouthwatering.
"Miss, do you want wine?" waiter asked to her.
Xin i was feeling thirsty so she picked up the glass of wine. Her eyes t with Su Yuchen. He was talking with so of his mangers. When he saw Xin i, he smiled back.
She started to take slow sips of wine. Her eyes were still fixed with that of Su Yuchen.

When sipping wine, Xin i felt sothing weird. All of a sudden, her eyes beca hazy and she felt a burning in her throat. She looked at the glass with wide eyes and then the glass slipped out of her hand.
"Xin i." Su Yuchen yelled when he saw her body waving and before she could fall, his arms were already enveloped around her.
"Xin i, open your eyes." Su Yuchen pressed on her cheeks and looked at her with worry.
"Poison, her wine was poisoned." Soone yelled and pointed toward the wine which had spilled out from the glass.
Su Yuchen's eyes widened when he saw that the color of wine had changed into the blue!
