Su Yuchen shifted uncomfortably on his place. He was well aware that his lower part was hard and his body was burning. Sweat beads were visible around his neck. His eyes had also turned dark with lust.
He so wanted to make Xin i sit on his lap. He wanted to wrap his arm around her waist. He wanted to have his naughty ways with her. She had churned sothing dangerous within him.
He knew that the image of her open hair and her white shoulder was going to be imprinted in his mind. That image was going to haunt him for a long ti.
"Cut! Fantastic!" Director Zhang shouted. He stood up from his seat and started to clap his hands. "This is the level of acting which I need from every actor. Xin i has danced so well and her expressions were so neutral. Learn sothing from her!
Tang Min, you also perford well. Your expressions were up to the point."
The face of Zhou Mingyu turned black like a pot when she heard the praises from director Zhang. He was scolding her continuously but now he was praising Xin i. She clutched her hands hard. She had to do sothing to spoil the image of Xin i in the eyes of director Zhang.
Tang Min who was getting praised wasn't happy at all. The acting which he perford just now wasn't really acting. His eyes had turned dark upon seeing the flawless acting of Xin i. He had instinctively wrapped his arms around her.
If not for the shout of cut from director Zhang, he was sure that he would have done sothing disastrous. He had forgotten that he was filming a scene for the film.
"It's lunch break now. We will shoot the close-ups, next scene in-between emperor Kai and Ruyi in the evening."
Everyone made their way towards the canteen. They all were talking about the scene which had taken place in front of their eyes. Many had started to praise the acting skills of Xin i. There were still so who believed that her acting wasn't acting but being seductive was her reality.
"Xin i, ignore the others. They only know how to find mistakes in others. You have really acted well. Keep it up." Director Zhang personally praised Xin i.
Director Zhang could see that no one liked Xin i and the reason was that she was a newbie. He didn't want Xin i to feel de-motivated as she was his diamond. He knew that his movie would be hit and the character of Ruyi would beco famous.
Xin i walked in the canteen with Fang Lin. The mont they entered they heard the announcent made by Zhou Mingyu.
"Everyone, I know that I have given you a hard ti by not doing well. I have wasted your last day and this Zhou Mingyu feels really guilty about the sa." Zhou Mingyu bowed towards everyone.
"I will try to act more seriously from now on and to compensate for my mistakes last day I have decided to give you all a lunch treat. You can eat whatever you want and billing will be done on my na."
Howling filled in the small canteen upon hearing her announcent. Many males clapped and whistled for her.
"Isn't the heart of Miss Zhou very kind? She knew that the prices of food items in the canteen are very high. There are many people who aren't eating to their full due to the prices. But now with the announcent of Miss Zhou, everyone can have food to their fill."
Fang Lin bead happily.
"Are you also not having food to your fill?"
"I am having the food to my fill. But there are so items which I want to taste but they are very expensive. Today I can taste them all."
"If you really wish to taste them then you can have them at my na."
"No need, I don't want you to pay for my food."
"Ah don't worry the main cast will get 50% compensation. We need to pay only 50% of the bill. So you have any expensive food item at my na."
"Really?" Fang Lin asked with excitent.
"Hmm. That is why Zhou Mingyu dared to treat everyone with lunch. Half of her bill would be compensated."
Xin i looked at Zhou Mingyu. Zhou Mingyu was grinning with delight upon hearing her praises from the cast. However rich they were, still, they couldn't pay for much expensive food items. So today everyone was going to taste expensive dishes like Fang Lin.
Xin i shook her head and hid a scoff from her lips. It was always an old trick of Zhou Mingyu to treat everyone with food. She believed that she could curry favor by giving treats. That was the reason everyone talked with her politely. Everyone loved expensive treats.
'She is again using the old tricks but she has forgotten that I am well aware of her tricks.' Xin i scoffed.
She made her way towards the food counter. She ordered her usual al.
When everyone was full with their al, they started to sing praises of Zhou Mingyu. She felt proud of herself. In the morning, she was bubbling in anger upon reading the comnts on Wechat account but now she was bubbling with happiness. She knew that now everyone was going to praise her for more free als in the future.
After lunch, there was another scene of Tang Min and Xin i. They both completed it with perfection, without any cut. The extras were all happy with their performance. That day, they wouldn't need to stay at the sets for late like last day. They took so close-ups of Tang Min and Xin i which also didn't take their much ti.
After her close-ups, Xin i treated everyone with the hot tea.
"Everyone, please try this tea by Uncle Ming. This tea is really delicious. I have personally tried it two days back. I am sure that you will love this tea in this cold weather."
Everyone happily took the cup of tea. They all praised for the thoughtfulness of Xin i. They really needed so hot beverage in this cold weather.
A simple tea treat had easily overpowered the lunch treat of Zhou Mingyu.
"Xin i, can I have another cup of tea?" the caraman asked Xin i.
"Of course, of course."
"It is really very thoughtful of you. What more do we need than a hot cup of tea in this chilly weather?"
In a corner, Zhou Mingyu was fuming with anger. Not only an hour ago, she had to pay a massive bill for the lunch party. She was gloating with victory when Xin i had spread water on her happiness with her non-expensive tea treat.
Xin i looked at Zhou Mingyu with cold eyes. 'It is just a start Mingyu. I will counter attack all your tricks. I will snatch everything from you and it's just a start!'
