Su Yuchen placed his hand over the heart of Xin i, the proof that she was all right and nothing big had happened to her.
His heart was beating fast with fear and tears were lingering in the corner of his eyes. His breathing was also shallow and there were nervousness filled knots in his stomach.
"Doctor, please check on my wife. She has been unconscious from a long and is not responding to ." Su Yuchen pleaded to the doctor.
The doctor who recognized Su Yuchen took him and Xin i towards the operating room. There Su Yuchen gently laid down Xin i on the stretcher before he was kicked out from the operating room because the doctor wanted to check on Xin i.
"Please be alright, i." Su Yuchen prayed. A painful sigh escaped his lips.
Huang Chu looked at Su Yuchen and did not know what to say. For once, he had also thought that Xin i was giving Su Yuchen a surprise by laying on his bed, in that dress. But when he saw how Xin i had not opened her eyes, even when Su Yuchen was pleading to her and depressingly shaking her body, he realized, sothing was off with Xin i.
"Doctor, how is my wife?" Su Yuchen rushed towards the doctor, the mont he ca out from the operation room.
"Mister Su, soone has injected drugs in the body of your wife. That is why she isn't waking up or is not responding to you."
Su Yuchen froze when he heard the words of the doctor. He fisted his hand and glared down at his feet.
"How is she now?"
"We have removed the drugs from her system as much as we can." Doctor then placed his hand on the shoulder of Su Yuchen. "Your wife is really lucky. She is saved even though the quantity of drugs in her system was not any less."
Su Yuchen sighed and nodded his head. "Can I see her?"
"Yes, off course. I am sure she will get her consciousness in hardly half an hour. But rember that she may feel dizzy and disoriented after waking up."
Su Yuchen nodded his head and entered inside the OR. He took the hand of Xin i in his and squeezed it tight. He placed his head on their interlocked hands and started to sob lightly. Tears started to flow down from his eyes.
He had again failed to protect her! Soone had drugged her, soone could have killed her!
"Huang Chu." He yelled.
Huang Chu who was standing outside the OR rushed inside.
"I want Wang Wei and his team to report to imdiately and I want you to search about this incident. I want to know the na of the person who dared to drug my wife." Su Yuchen looked at him with a fire burning in his eyes.
"I will not leave that person, male or female." His body started to shook with anger.
Huang Chu nodded his head before rushing out of the OR. He imdiately started to implent the order of Su Yuchen. He did not want to beco the target of his anger.

"i, I am sorry. Your Chen failed again." Su Yuchen spoke in a heavy voice and closed his eyes with guilt and restlessness.
There he was planning his vacation with Xin i and here she was now, laying on a hospital bed and why? Because of so b******* who wanted his or her death.
"Chen…Chen…" soon enough, soft, and slow voice of Xin i rung in the ears of Su Yuchen. She was in distress and was shaking on the bed.
"i, I am here. Calm down, your Chen is here." Su Yuchen gently combed her hair. "I am here."
"Ch…en…" Xin i spoke in a broken voice and opened her eyes.
Su Yuchen felt as if he had seen heaven when she opened her eyes. Happy tears flew out of his eyes. A smile appeared on his lips.
"Chen…." Xin i spoke weakly and then one after other tears started to fill her eyes. Tears of pain, fear, and whatnot.
"i, please don't cry." Su Yuchen felt lost when he saw the tears in her eyes. He did not miss a beat and hugged her tight. "Please don't cry, love. I am here. I am here and you are safe. I am sorry that I wasn't there beside you when you were drugged."
Heart of Su Yuchen was breaking every second when he heard the sobs of Xin i. She was clutching hard on his shirt and was sobbing softly.
"I was afraid." Xin i sobbed. She hugged him tighter and sobbed more loudly. Her body started to shook violently with her sobs.
Su Yuchen looked at her with sad eyes and started to rub her back.
"You don't need to be afraid. I am here now. I will find your culprit, I promise."
Xin i kept sobbing in his arms before she finally cald down. She looked at him and his heart pinched when he saw her red eyes.
"I was afraid that soone else would touch , making dirty. I didn't know how I was going to face you if sothing…." she sobbed. "Thank god, you saved ."
She again hid her face in his chest and started to cry.
"i, please don't cry. And even if soone else had made you dirty, then also I would have loved you, the way I do right now. My i is pure. She can never get dirty."
"Why are you so good? And why are other people so bad? Why did they drug ? Why? Why? Why?" she sobbed and yelled in his arms.
Xin i was in a very distressful state. She yelled and sobbed in his arms before falling asleep.
Su Yuchen looked at her with a sad and pain-filled smile and gently laid her down on the bed. He then asked the doctors to shift Xin i to the VIP room.

When Xin i woke up again, she was feeling comparatively calm. She was not feeling any pain or fear like before. She opened her eyes and looked around for Su Yuchen, only to find him standing in front of the team who was guarding her.
"Wang Wei, this is the second ti you are repeating the sa mistake. How can you let anyone drug Xin i?" Su Yuchen yelled and glared at Wang Wei.
Xin i felt guilty when she heard how Su Yuchen was getting angry on the team of her bodyguards where the mistake was her own. She had asked them to leave her side. She thought the resort would be safe for her. Besides, she was going on a vacation for two days with Su Yuchen, she though she did not need guards. But she was wrong.
"Chen," she spoke in a soft voice.
Su Yuchen who heard her voice ca rushing towards her. "How are you feeling now?"
"Please don't scold Wang Wei. It was my mistake." She ignored his question and spoke what was in her heart. "I was the one who forced them to leave my side. It is not their mistake. I will feel guilty if you punish them because of my mistake."
Su Yuchen took a deep breath when he heard her. This stubbornness of Xin i was the thing that always put her in danger.
He turned and looked at Wang Wei and his team. "You all go and search for the culprit. I will talk to you all later."
Without waiting for anything more, everyone left the room leaving Su Yuchen alone with Xin i.
