"Alright, enough of your crying. Even the family of that old man wouldn't be crying the way you are crying right now…."
When Xin i was crying badly on the hospital floor, a very warm and soothing voice ran in her ear. She lifted her head and felt as if she was dreaming.
In front of her was standing her husband, Su Yuchen!
She thought she was dreaming. He was inside the operation room then how could she hear his voice and imagine him? She thought she had gone crazy in love with him that now she had started to imagine him everywhere.
"Yuchen, how can you do this with ? You have made mad. Now I am imagining you everywhere."
She started to sob more loudly.
Su Yuchen sighed and shook his head. He kneeled on the floor and took Xin i in his arms. He gently patted on her head.
"Enough of crying i. I am here, beside you. Now stop crying, we don't want to flood the hospital with your tears…."
"I know you are not here. You are my imagination." She sobbed loudly. Her whole body was shaking in the arms of Su Yuchen.
"i, I am here." he pulled her chin and turned her face towards his face. "i, look at . I am right here. Nothing happened to . Your Yuchen is here in front of you."
"You are here?"
She stopped sobbing and looked at him with unbelievable eyes. She blinked her eyes multiple tis and pinched her cheeks, followed by his cheek.
After making sure that he was here, she didn't take a second before jumping into his arms. She started to wail loudly.
Su Yuchen wanted to hiss with pain when she hugged him tightly. But he controlled the hiss and started to console his wailing wife.
"i, Love, stop crying now. You have already cried enough. So, stop crying. See, your Yuchen is right here, in front of you. Now stop crying. I can't see you crying like this."
Su Yuchen felt a pain in his heart when he saw this condition of his wife. She was crying so loudly and was shivering badly.
He covered her body with his coat and started to rock her in his arms. He could feel his shirt turning wet with her tear.
'It is my fault.' He scolded himself.
"You have cried enough now. Let see what you have done to yourself in the last three hours."
Su Yuchen pulled her chin and looked at her tear-filled face. His heart squeezed painfully when he saw her red eyes. He gently rubbed her tears and caressed her cheeks.
"I thought…. thought sothing happened to you…. the nurse said…" she again sobbed and clutched tightly on to his shirt.
"i, who told you to co here, in the operation room, searching for ?" He gently knocked her head. "Didn't you hear Wang Wei who was trying to tell you that I am alright?"
He again scolded her. "You wasted so many precious pearls without any use." He again removed her tears.
"Then what could I have done?" she accused. "You were not answering my call and I thought... the accident...I was so…I was scared…"
Her voice again broke down.
"i, nothing can happen to when I have such a loving wife." He lovingly caressed her cheek with his index finger. "Besides, I am the favourite kid of the god. He can't let anything happen to . Even if I die, God will again give a second chance to live, just like a reincarnation from the Chinese novels which you read."
"Stop talking about death." She sniffed in his arms and again hugged him.
"Now co, we should go to the hotel. You need to change your dress. I don't want to see you falling sick." He spoke lovingly, and massaged her head.
Xin i nodded her head and stood up from the hospital floor. That was when her eyes fell upon the bandage on the shoulder of Su Yuchen.
"What happened?" she looked at him with wide eyes. "You got hurt in the accident. Did car or other vehicle hit you?"
She asked with concern and started to inspect his whole body with worry.
"It's not a big wound, i." Su Yuchen consoled her. "A car drove in my direction, but in a nick of ti, my guard, Si Li, and Li Nian were able to push aside. I got scratched on my shoulder due to the fall otherwise I am perfectly alright."
"You are not lying, right?" she looked at him with her big eyes.
"I am not lying. I am really alright. Now co."
Su Yuchen tightened his coat around her. He looked at his wife who was looking very aged and small in his arms.
"How is Si Li and Li Nian?" she asked.
"Si Li got many broken bones, but Li Nian is alright. There is nothing to worry about them."
"Let's go and et them." She held his hand. "I want to thank them for saving you before going to the hotel."
She pleaded and looked at him with determination filled eyes. Su Yuchen wanted to reject her demand but he knew she wasn't the one to step behind.
They went to first et Si Li. He was covered with bandages. Xin i heart fully thanked him.
"Missus, you don't need to thank . I must save my boss, it's my duty to save him. Instead, I should be guilty here that he even got a scratch on his body."
Su Yuchen and Xin i both smiled at his sincerity towards them. Su Yuchen and Xin i again thanked him before they made their way towards the ward of Li Nian.
"Missus, you don't need to thank ." Li Nian felt conflicted when he saw his missus saying thanks to him. "Boss, after getting fine, I will help you to find the man behind this murder plan, I promise."
The intention of Li Nian was good when saying the above words, but he didn't calculate the reaction of Xin i upon hearing his words.
"Murder plan? Why did soone plan to murder you?" Xin i started to shake and shiver in the arms of Su Yuchen.
"Murder…what if…what if…why?" she was continuously murmuring and shivering in his arms. She felt panicked, stress had also taken a toll on her.
"i, it wasn't a murder plan but an accident. Li Nian had hit his head that's why he is saying gibberish. Ignore him." Su Yuchen spoke in a soft voice. He tried to calm down Xin i who was having a panic attack.
