After thirty minutes, Su Yuchen and Xin i entered in the dining room where Su Zixin was already waiting for them. Xin i was blushing furiously and she kept stealing glances at her grinning husband.
She touched her cheeks and could feel them very hot. It was so embarrassing.
'When did I beco so bold to kiss Su Yuchen in front of Zixin?'
"Wifey, take your seat. I will serve you dinner." Su Yuchen offered and Xin i took her seat.
Su Zixin felt glad that Xin i had taken another seat instead of sitting on his brother's lap. Otherwise, he would have thrown up whatever he ate the whole day.
"So, what do you wanna talk about?" Xin i asked Su Zixin as they started to eat.
"Oh yes," Su Zixin rembered that he was there to ask her sothing important. "Xin i, I want you to be my partner for the award show. That's the day after tomorrow."
Chopsticks in the hands of Su Yuchen froze when he heard Su Zixin. He looked at him ,frowning. "So, you want to take my wife with you to an award show?"
Su Zixin sighed when he heard the jealousy in his tone. "Yes, I do." He raised his hands in surrender. "But only out of my goodwill."
"I know she cannot walk in the award show with you, nor can she walk in with so other male, so, the only best option left is . Besides, I can help her in creating many new contacts during the awards show."
Su Zixin listed down the pros which Xin i would have if she walked with him. Su Yuchen heard his explanation and nodded his head.
"What do you think sister in law?" Su Zixin looked at Xin i.
"Who said that I am even attending the award show?"
"What do you an?" Su Zixin was surprised. "Don't tell you are planning to skip the awards show! Don't you know how important is an award function in an actress's career?"
"I know but I don't want to attend the award show. I can't see Zhou Mingyu receiving yet another award for her so called acting. So, I don't want to go. I want to spend so ti with my husband."
"I don't think that's possible, love." Su Yuchen said. "Don't forget that I have to leave for country C on that day."
"Oh, it slipped out of my mind you won't be here..." she said dejectedly.
Xin i and Su Yuchen discussed about his business trip to country C, completing ignoring Su Zixin.
"Both of you, stop ignoring ," he yelled in frustration. "Xin i, how can you not attend an award show because of such a silly reason? Brother, make her understand. She is not listening to . Attending award show is absolutely important for her."
"I don't care. I am not attending an award show, no matter what!" Xin i declared. "Now quickly finish your food and go back ho. Don't forget we have an important scene tomorrow."
Su Zixin kept grumbling under his breath. He knew Xin i wasn't going to listen to him, so he could only please to his brother.
"Brother, please try changing her mind. Attending an award show is of uttermost importance to her career." Su Zixin told to Su Yuchen.
"And brother, can you please unblock any one of my bank accounts." Su Zixin pleaded. "You see award shows are coming but I don't have a single penny in my account to buy a brand-new outfit"
"No," Su Yuchen rejected. "No allowance includes allowance for your outfits for whatever occasion on it may be"
"But brother, please. I don't have any new outfits for the award show."
"Don't care. Wear any of your old ones." Su Yuchen wrapped his arms around his chest and looked at Su Zixin. "I am sure you have many expensive suits in your wardrobe."
"Yeah, I have but I can't wear them again. Please try to under-"
"No," Su Yuchen cut him off. "Use your own money to buy an outfit or wear sothing from last season, I am not paying for you anymore."
"But brother…."
"No. End of discussion" Su Yuchen announced.
Su Zixin pouted and looked at his brother. He had already spent a large chunk of his savings. He didn't have enough to buy a brand-new suit or money to spend on preparation for that day.
"Brother, please don't be so cruel with ." Su Zixin pleaded.
He tried his best to persuade his brother to lift his ridiculous ban but Su Yuchen didn't care.
At last, feeling defeated while blaming his luck, Su Zixin left the house. He was cursing his brother and Xin i in his mind.

"Why don't you want to attend the award show?" Su Yuchen asked Xin i who was lying in his arms.
"I just don't want to attend the award show." Xin i shrugged. "I have no reason to attend. Besides, I cannot watch Zhou Mingyu going up the stage and receiving an award. It will only hurt my heart. It will remind of how I was a fool once."
"What a sly reason wife? You should attend the award show; let her climb on the stage for the last ti. Harden your determination to the thought that you will snatch that trophy and title from her hands."
"I don't care, I still don't want to go." Xin i pouted.
"But I think you should go." Su Yuchen pinched her nose. "I have seen Su Zixin attending every award show. He always says award shows are very important. You will get a chance to get acquainted with top-notch directors and producers. You can also make useful connections in the after-award party."
"Su Zixin will be going with you. He will introduce you to many new people that will help you in boosting your career."
"Ok, I will think about it."
Xin i told him and closed her eyes.
After few days, the dates of the said award show were announced; Xin i decided to not attend the said awards ceremony. She had made up her mind and it isn't easy for her to change her mind.

Next day, as usual, Xin i finished her morning routine before leaving for the sets.
Once she was in the studio, she went to the changing room and changed into her dress. When she left the changing room, director Zhang was waiting for her.
"Xin i, here you are! I have sothing to talk to you."
"What is it? Director?" she asked.
"Are you attending the award show which is taking place tomorrow?"
"No, I am not."
"You should attend it. The whole cast is attending the sa award show. During the award show, we can promote our movie. It can also hype up your career as an actress. Besides, I was thinking to announce about 'The flying won' in the sa award show. So, try making an appearance"
"Alright, I will think about it."
Director Zhang happily nodded. Xin i thought about what said he as well as Su Yuchen said last night. She knew the importance and yet thought about ditching it.
She ntally slapped herself for being stubborn again!
Like Su Yuchen said, she wouldn't watch Zhou Mingyu receiving the award with pain but should see it with a smile because that award would be the last award in the career of Zhou Mingyu!
Once everything was in place the director announced on the microphone for everyone to take their positions.
"Cara rolling, action." He yelled.
Today the scene to be shot was very important. With the end of this scene, filming of the first half of the movie would be complete.
In this scene, Ruyi gave birth to a baby in Jun kingdom. She looked at the baby boy with delight and determination filled eyes. Emperor Jun entered her room and Ruyi declared to him that she was ready to learn the art of war, for her revenge by snatching the kingdom from emperor Kai.
Director Zhang was impressed with the way Chen Bai and Xin i enacted the scene. The small baby of a crew mber was used for this scene and the way Xin i and Chen Bai handled the baby impressed everyone.
"Cut! Well done both of you." director Zhang announced and the cast mber rushed towards Xin i and took the baby in her arms.
"Xin i, you are very good at handling babies. Look at my baby girl; she is sleeping so peacefully." Cast mber praised her before taking the baby to her mother.
