"Ah. T–This is..." Hamilton stuttered stepping out to introduce the stranger,

"This is Mr. Isak Slumba, the Vice Chairman of Slumbr Group"

"Really?" Trent blinked, shaking his hand. The Vice Chairman? He looked so young.

"It’s great to finally et you, Mr. Ackerman" he smiled, bowing his head slightly.

"It’s nice to et you too, Mr. Slumba"

"Just call Isak" he laughed, stretching his hand forward to lead them,

"Thank you. Call Trent, then" Trent chuckled, glancing at Hamilton who stared at them, nervous.

Trent scanned the area as they walked— so of the staffs seed curious about what was going on. It was like a show.

"What’s going on?"

"Oh" Hamilton turned to him, cleaning the sweat off his face with a napkin,

"The eting— the vice chairman and so executives with a reporter---"

"Reporter?"

Why bring the dia into a eting?

"My apologies, Trent" Isak turned to them sensing the confusion,

"My Father was really impressed by your work— he’s prepared a gift for this inconvenience"

A gift?

The Executives sitting stood up imdiately to greet as Hamilton rushed to open the door for them to walk in.

"We’re really lucky to have you" Isak smiled, nudging him a little.

Trent nodded to the executives that greeted him as Hamilton led him to his seat.

There was only one reporter in the room with a Cara man.

The big screen on the wall was turned on with soone rushing to set it up on Isak orders as he sat.

"Mr. Trent Ackerman" Isak cleared his throat, turning to him,

"On behalf of the Slumba Group and as a valued custor---"

"Cut the long talk, Isak" A voice interrupted as the screen connected.

Trent’s eyes trailed slowly to the screen seeing the smile on Isak’s face.

An old Man.

Was that---

Imdiately, all Executives in the room stood up to bow.

"Father— I thought you’d take so ti because of the eting"

"I cancelled— those damn snakes trying to play my intelligence now that they sense a break"

Trent stood up slowly, confused.

What’s going on?

"You can sit, Trent" Isak glanced at him,

"Don’t worry---"

"It’s nice to et you, Mr. Ackerman." The old Man cleared his throat,

"I see Isak calls you Trent... I’ll call you that too, alright?"

"Yes, Sir. It’s an honor to et you, Mr Slumba" Trent bowed slightly,

"Hoho... You’re quite a respectful gentleman" Slumba chuckled,

"Not like so punks that think 10 million makes them the shit" he added, clicking his tongue.

Trent forced a smile, as his eyes caught the cara man trying to get a perfect shot of him,

"I’m sorry about the whole dia thing— we just really need it" Slumba sighed.

Was there a situation with them?

"Is there a problem?" Trent asked, curious, seeing the worry on Slumba’s face.

"It’s---"

"We’ve been thinking of selling Slumbr Inc." Isak cut in.

Gasps filled the air and murmurs echoed in the room imdiately

"Really? What’s---"

"That was until you started trading with us" Slumba cut in.

"There’s been a sharp drop of custors in the past few years— how did you find out about us?" Isak asked,

In the Program...

He once asked the finance Instructor about stocks in passing and got the na from her.

"A ntor introduced it to " he lied, with a smile.

"You should introduce them soti" Slumba burst into laughter.

"Yeah... But what’s happening here?"

"Your trades earned us over $10 million in commissions—and by copying your trade yesterday, we made $380 million."

What? Trent blinked.

They copied my trade?

"I understand your confusion" Isak shook his head,

"I have been monitoring your account— I’ll take responsibility for that"

"No..." Trent shook his head, looking straight at the screen.

"Who else can copy my trades?"

"In the terms and agreent and with the tier of your account— the company" Slumba exhaled.

They stared at him for a while as he lowered his head silently.

"W–We’ll change those terms today" Isak stuttered,

They’ll change a term that made them $380 million?

He raised his brow, and looked at Cara

"Are you sure it’s alright to record all these? And you really traded the 10 million copying ?"

"That’s how much the kid believes in you" Slumba laughed, "He would’ve convinced the Stars if they were there"

Isak turned to the screen imdiately, embarrassed.

So, that’s how he beca Vice Chairman at such a young age...

"Alright. Let’s see the terms" Trent chuckled, sitting down.

"Y–You’re not pissed?" Isak asked slowly,

"I made money, you made money, and you brought gifts," he chuckled, eyeing the executives still standing.

Shouldn’t they sit?

"I’m sure you rushed here this morning" he turned back to Isak.

"Didn’t even have breakfast" Slumba scoffed.

Isak exhaled, taking his seat and signaled all the executives to also do.

"You can go on and tell him, Pops"

"It’s Chairman when you’re at work, Brat" Slumba huffed, putting his glasses on.

"It’s Vice Chairman, then" Isak muttered, smiling at Trent.

What a unique Father-Son pair.

Slumba cleared his throat and picked a paper to read.

"Trent Ackerman. Esteed custor of Slumbr Inc. investnt subsidiary for Slumbr Group" he looked up, at the screen.

"With this new contract, you’ll be granted the highest tier account and 10% shares of Slumbr Inc."

What?

10% of the company?

Wasn’t that too ridiculous of a gift?

Trent gulped as Isak opened the file on his table and stood up to face the cara.

"And..." Slumba continued,

There was more?

"...$100 million as commission for the trade we copied"

Holy...

The Executives gasped at the amount, turning to him.

The cara man walked forward to get a good view of what was going on.

"We’re very grateful to have such a great custor and look forward to our partnership" Slumba concluded.

Trent stood up slowly as applause erupted,

Damn.

This wasn’t just so small eting.

Isak stretched the paper with smile, bowing his head slightly.

"I look forward to working with you, Trent"

"I look forward to working with you too, Isak" he replied, also glancing at the screen to bow.

"You have a holding company, yeah?" Slumba asked, as Trent bent to sign the paper.

"Yes, Sir"

"You’re really a formidable talent— the next era is quite promising" Slumba giggled,

"I’ll see you around. I leave my dunce of a son in your hands" he laughed harder, hanging up.

"Damned old man..." Isak huffed, turning to the screen.

Trent stared at the contract.

This is definitely a huge deal.

They proceeded to sign the papers and took so pictures to conclude everything.

"About the tier..." Trent whispered to Isak as they turned away from the cara.

"I’m very sorry— we should’ve contacted you for such a huge amount. We just really had no choice and---"

"It’s okay" Trent reassured, "I’m grateful that you trusted so much to do sothing like that"

"Thank you" Isak exhaled, "with the new tier, we won’t be able to copy any of your trades and commissions will be cut down by 50%"

That’s such a great deal.

Would it be beneficial to them though?

"You don’t have to worry about us" Isak laughed seeing his face,

"We made the last two years worth of revenue from one trade even after the 100 million— that’s enough for us"

Smart businessman...

"I’ll plug you in if there’s any update" he laughed, walking back to the seat.

"Really?" Isak gasped, eyes widening as he sat down.

"I look forward to the partnership" he stretched his hand, with a grin.

"We’re going to be your best partners ever" Isak giggled, shaking his hands.

He introduced the reporter and they sat for a little interview talking about

How he started trading?

The amount of money Trent started with and condition he was in---

Thoughts about the new contract---

The condition of Slumbr Inc and why they wanted to sell---

Trent’s take on the country’s industrial economy---

_______

"Thank you very much for this, Trent" Isak bowed slightly as they stepped out of the elevator.

"I should be the one thankful— it’s such a great gift" Trent chuckled, waving him off.

Imdiately he reached his car, his phone blared— Marie.

"Hey... What stunt are you pulling for a eting?" She asked imdiately it connected.

"Slow down" he laughed opening the door and sliding into the driver’s seat.

"You’re seriously— it just updated on Business Daily and it’s blowing up. I get the feeling the reporters will soon locate the house---"

"We’ll have to sneak in, then" he laughed, scanning the area.

"I can’t believe you got 10% of that company— Morlov tried to buy so shares so years ago but they declined— that’s why they’ve been in shit"

Oh.

They must’ve been so pressured recently that they thought of selling.

"I’ll give you the full gist at ho" he chuckled, starting the car.

"You better..." She scoffed, "You might have to get the chopper if you’re going to keep being such a sensation magnet"

"I guess so... Talk to you later"

He looked at his screen as the call disconnected.

The thought of going back to her and talking to her about it...

Oh, Stars...

Her reactions to this would---

His face dropped as another call ca in.

Fuck.

What does he want this ti?
