As soon as Sienna Monroe stepped into the side wing, Mrs. Lewis saw her.

Mrs. Lewis was a bit surprised, "Madam, why are you back so early?"

"I went out this morning and forgot to bring my tablet and an important docunt. I only realized this afternoon that I left them in the room."

Her expression was gentle, especially her apricot eyes carrying a warm smile, making her seem even more approachable and naturally convincing.

Mrs. Lewis didn’t doubt her words in the slightest, after all, when she ca over yesterday, she did indeed have a tablet and a blue folder in her bag.

But whether she left them there on purpose or by accident, only Sienna Monroe knew.

Sienna paused for a few seconds, putting on a look of curious confusion, then quietly asked, "Did sothing happen at the main wing? When I ca back, I saw it was in quite a ss, with lots of people around."

Mrs. Lewis said, "It seems that the ho’s network was maliciously attacked, trying to extract important data from the Family Head’s office computer. The First Lady is getting people to remove the virus and repair things like... the firewall."

She displayed just the right amount of surprise and concern, "What about that data? Did you tell Mom and Dad?"

"I’m not sure, the First Lady has it sealed up tight, no news getting through. But I’ve already inford the Madam, she was busy earlier,

called about the situation over ten minutes ago, she should be on her way back now."

Sienna’s breath halted.

June Ewing is coming back?

The Radiance Beauty Spa is only about half an hour from The Sterling Estate.

June Ewing called over ten minutes ago.

There might only be about ten minutes left.

Enough ti.

But she had to hurry.

"That’s good." She settled her thoughts, reaching to touch her abdon, "Mrs. Lewis, I’m feeling a bit hungry now, could I trouble you to make sothing to eat?"

Mrs. Lewis knew she was pregnant, smiling, "Madam, no need to be so formal. What would you like to eat?"

What would take a little more ti?

Sienna quickly assessed in her mind, "Braised beef with handmade noodles sounds good."

Mrs. Lewis nodded, hesitated a bit, "I can do that, but it might take so ti; by the ti it’s ready, it’ll be close to dinner.

How about I make you so zhajiang noodles first? Trust , the zhajiang noodles are just as good as the braised beef noodles."

Zhajiang noodles?

That’s also a dish with quite a complex process.

As long as she could hold Mrs. Lewis in the kitchen while she spent ti in the study, it would be fine. It would avoid Mrs. Lewis suddenly coming to look for her, which would be troubleso if she found her not in the room.

It might arouse June Ewing’s suspicion.

What she ate didn’t really matter that much.

She nodded with a smile, "Alright, zhajiang noodles it is, thank you."

"No trouble at all, you go ahead and get busy. I’ll call you when it’s ready."

"Okay."

Watching Mrs. Lewis leave, Sienna hid the smile from her eyes, turned, and entered the elevator.

Because there was no concern of surveillance caras, she didn’t hesitate, heading straight to the door of June Ewing’s small study.

She paused while inputting the password, took a tissue from her bag, covered her fingerprints, quickly entered the password, and turned the handle, slipping inside.

She placed her bag on the coffee table, glanced at the height of the bookshelf, it was about two ters tall.

Relying solely on her height would be impossible.

But the only movable item in the study that she could step on was June Ewing’s office chair.

Gritting her teeth, she moved the chair to in front of the bookshelf, took off her shoes, and slowly climbed up.

But the height still wasn’t enough, and she didn’t know which specific book it was, so she had to hold onto the bookshelf, tiptoeing as high as she could to reach the books on the top right side.

When she grabbed the fourth book, she noticed the feel and thickness were different from the previous three.

Flipping open the first page, it was indeed the ledger.

The pages she had photographed earlier she already knew by heart.

It was cloudy today, and without the lights on, the study was not well-lit.

She quickly verified the numbers on the first few pages, confird they were correct, then swiftly photographed the remaining twenty-sothing pages one by one.

Once finished, she closed the ledger, carefully replaced it back on the shelf, tidied the books in front, then cautiously stepped down from the chair, pushing it back to the desk.

After exiting, she closed the door, steadied her pace to return to her room.

Not even a minute after she closed the door, still calming the anxiety spiraling in her heart, there was a sudden knock on the door from outside.

Startled, her shoulders gave a small tremor.

"Madam, your noodles are ready."

It was Mrs. Lewis’s voice from outside.

Sienna was slightly taken aback.

They were ready so quickly?

Her heart gave a sudden jolt.

That was close!

If I had co back half a minute later, I might have been exposed.

She let out a long sigh, trying hard to suppress the anxiety and relief inside her, forcing herself to relax.

She looked at the docunts and tablet on the table not far away, pursed her lips, and walked over to open them, making it look like she was working.

She then opened the door, a calm smile on her face, and without asking much, she responded with a "Sure," and went downstairs with Mrs. Lewis.

She looked around the room, walked to the dining table, sat down, and asked, "Where’s Mom? She’s not back yet?"

"The lady has already returned, but she’s at the main building now."

Sienna Monroe’s heart montarily skipped a beat.

Has she been held up by the first lady?

Luckily, luckily.

She lowered her eyes, slightly relaxing her grip on the chopsticks, and tasted the noodles.

Halfway through, June Ewing appeared in her line of sight. She put down her chopsticks and stood up, calling out, "Mom, you’re back."

June Ewing paused for a mont, a hint of suspicion in her eyes, "You ca back so early today?"

"I accidentally left my tablet and docunts in the morning, so I ca back to check so information. I was hungry, so I asked Mrs. Lewis to make a bowl of noodles."

Sienna t her gaze, her expression normal, "Mom, how is it? Is that firewall issue serious?"

June glanced at the bowl of noodles on the table, nodded, and slightly frowned, her tone calm, "It’s nothing, just got hacked, but we discovered it early, so we don’t have to worry."

The implication being, the first lady will handle it.

She probably had a tough ti with Rhonda Garrison.

Now that Isaac Sinclair is not ho, even if she feels wronged by Rhonda, there’s nothing she can do.

Sienna chuckled and asked, "Do you want to try the noodles?"

"You eat. I’ll go upstairs to change my clothes."

As she spoke, she paused, turned back to glance at Sienna, her gentle expression sowhat enigmatic, "There’s no internet at ho, and there are viruses. Your tablet wasn’t hacked, was it?"

The hand hanging by Sienna’s side slightly stiffened, but her smile remained unchanged, "That’s exactly what I was worried about, so I used my phone’s hotspot."

The doubts in June Ewing’s mind deepened and grew larger.

Sienna moved in last night, and the next day the ho network was hacked, and she ca back so early?

Just a coincidence?

She didn’t believe it.

Most coincidences are nothing but preditated.

If it was preditated, what was Sienna’s purpose in doing this?

Her eyelid twitched suddenly.

The entire estate’s network firewall was breached, which ans all the surveillance caras are useless.

The cara outside the study corridor...

Could it be...

Her breathing paused slightly, but her face remained gentle, "That’s good, you go ahead and eat."

With that said, she quickly went upstairs.

Sienna clearly saw the change in June Ewing’s eyes, knowing she now had her suspicions, and marveled at her sharpness.

But she carefully went over the details of the study in her mind, believing she hadn’t shown any clues.

Thinking this way, she calmly finished her noodles.

After going upstairs, June Ewing went straight to the study, confirming that the password lock on the door hadn’t been breached or tampered with. She then went in and examined the area.

Even the position of the office chair hadn’t changed, and the ledgers on the bookshelf were similarly untouched.

Her eyes darkened.

Could she... really be overthinking it?

*

The estate’s network firewall wasn’t fully restored until after nine o’clock in the evening, and it was at this ti that Caleb Sinclair returned.

When Sienna opened the door, he was wearing a dark gray coat, tall and upright, his features handso, and the peach blossom eyes behind the glasses remaining gentle and profound.

Reflecting her bright and beautiful face inside, his voice was soft, "Honey, I’m back."

Sienna looked at him, her expression montarily relaxed.

He’s back...

Does that an his heart and mind have returned to her?

But she no longer needed it.

Things that are tainted should be thrown into the trash.

She forcibly suppressed the aversion and rejection bubbling up in her heart, an appropriate amount of surprise flashing across her face, "Didn’t you say you wouldn’t be back for two more days? How co..."

"Mom called yesterday and said you were lonely at ho and ca to the estate.

I reflected well on it, and indeed I’ve been neglecting you lately."

Caleb Sinclair took her hand, gently caressed her cheek with one hand, "Honey, it’s all my fault. I’m free tomorrow, wherever you want to go, I’ll accompany you."
