Caleb Sinclair’s thoughts seed to have been carried away by a kite string, and he couldn’t hear the voices of Sienna Monroe and Autumn Leigh anymore.
There was only one thought in his mind.
What should he do now?
How should he handle the child in Vivian Nash’s belly?
That tangled ss was tightening around his heart.
While Sienna Monroe and Autumn Leigh were talking, in the corner of his eye he noticed his body stiffening unnaturally. Under the glasses, those peach blossom eyes flickered slightly, filled with sothing she couldn’t capture or see through.
But there’s one thing she knew clearly.
Caleb Sinclair had begun weighing the child in Vivian Nash’s belly.
Sienna suddenly understood that he loved himself more, and his feelings for her and Vivian Nash were not pure and could be repeatedly weighed.
His selfishness, at this mont, was well interpreted.
It’s absurd that she spent almost seven years to see through this person.
Truly pathetic.
Suppressing her surging emotions, she raised her hand to wrap around his arm and said, "Auntie said Vivian is hospitalized, let’s go up to see her."
Caleb Sinclair’s thoughts were pulled back by her action and voice.
He stared at her face, dazed for a mont. His heart was suddenly squeezed fiercely by sothing, yet his expression remained calm as usual.
He said softly, "How about we go after the examination? Your maternity check can’t be delayed today."
Sienna smiled, "It’s okay, we can go last, Auntie Rennick will send a ssage later. Besides, there are so many people in line now, by the ti it’s your turn, who knows how long it’ll take,
why not wait until there are fewer people to take a number? Mainly, I’m a bit worried about Vivian. Auntie Leigh said Vivian is pregnant and now nurturing the fetus in the hospital, I have to go up and see."
Nurturing the fetus...
Vivian Nash intends to give birth to the child.
Caleb Sinclair slightly furrowed his brow, secretly tightened his fist.
He couldn’t quite describe the feeling in his heart.
He pressed his lips together, since that’s the case, going up to take a look is okay, just to understand the situation.
Besides, with him there, Vivian Nash shouldn’t dare to say things she shouldn’t to Sienna.
After quickly considering, he nodded and joined them, heading to the inpatient departnt at the back. They entered the elevator, arriving at the 17th floor obstetrics and gynecology ward area.
Vivian Nash’s ward wasn’t VIP, but it was a mid-upper level single room.
Everything inside was quite complete, ignoring the dical supplies, it resembled a small studio apartnt.
Vivian Nash wore a pink and white hospital gown, lying on the hospital bed, her gaze sowhat hollow, her complexion not very good.
Her appearance and deanor naturally belonged to the delicate type, and under the blow of so setbacks, she appeared even more frail and haggard.
Upon hearing the door open, her face instantly sank, her brows tightly knitted.
In just the short span of two to three days, she had quarreled countless tis with her mother over preserving or aborting the child.
The line of defense in her mind had already cracked, emotions collapsing to the point of sleepless nights.
Now, seeing her mother, she felt annoyed, felt chest-tight and short of breath, felt pain and despair.
She didn’t want to see her at all.
She couldn’t understand why, when the doctor had already inford her that aborting the child would make it hard to conceive again, her mother was still adamant about her getting an abortion.
So rciless, so resolute.
Her world now seed only to be dark, devoid of any light or hope.
Like a marionette with its spine removed, suddenly collapsing on fate’s stage.
Her life was ruined.
And her biological mother was one of the executioners.
As Autumn Leigh stepped inside, she t her daughter’s sullen gaze and was montarily taken aback.
She wasn’t mistaken, there was hatred inside.
Such a gaze had existed since yesterday, she thought it was an illusion, but now she could clearly see it.
Autumn Leigh was also at a loss, as a mother, she needed to bring her daughter back to the right path, couldn’t let Vivian make mistakes continuously.
She steadied her nerves, ruthlessly overlooked the hatred spilling from Vivian’s eyes, smiling, "Vivian, look, see who’s here..."
Vivian Nash’s calculated fierceness instantly dissipated, she hesitated, a hint of surprise flashed, and catching sight of the man behind Sienna Monroe, she imdiately showed excitent. Her eyes turned sour, tears fell uncontrollably.
She parted her lips, wanting to call Caleb Sinclair’s na, but her dry throat couldn’t produce the sound.
From this angle, Sienna Monroe could see her gaze fixed on the person behind.
She could also see her tearful eyes filled with grief, sadness, despair, confiding, pity, grievance, joy, and a kind of overwhelming emotion of finally eting.
What? Being pregnant, she doesn’t even want to pretend in front of her?
Or, has she completely ignored her?
Sienna Monroe subtly pulled at the corner of her lips.
But she couldn’t ignore.
She imdiately showed a face of pain and concern, quickly approached the bed edge to block her view, speaking softly, "Vivian, don’t cry, I’m here."
Vivian Nash’s gaze was t with a beautiful face, her throat choked, tears beca hard to shed.
She secretly clenched her teeth.
Wanting to push Sienna away and throw herself into the arms of the person she longed for day and night.
But the remaining shred of reason held her back, she could only sob, "You... you finally ca... do you know how much I missed you, really, really missed you."
Sienna furrowed her brows.
She heard a trace of abnormality in her words.
Was this deliberately said for Caleb Sinclair to hear?
She scoffed inwardly,
deliberately wearing a stern face, started to reprimand, "I heard from Auntie that you’ve been hospitalized for two days and pregnant, such a big deal, you didn’t tell ,
have you really considered a friend? What? Have you actually distanced yourself from ? Then I would be heartbroken."
