But when she glanced at the monitors beside Ukai bed, she let out a startled gasp.
"Your vitals are improving, Mr. Ukai!"
"I'll go contact the doctor for a full checkup right away!"

On the coaching bench, Coach Nekomata had already stood up, applauding with a smile.
Watching his exhausted players walk off the court, he suddenly gave a deep bow.
"Thank you for a truly amazing ga."
"No matter the outco, you've helped fulfill a long-held dream of this old man."

"Don't do that…"
Kuroo and the others were flustered as they quickly helped their coach back up.
They could tell—this ti, Coach Nekomata was genuinely happy.

Behind them, Yamamoto choked up, his voice trembling.
No one likes to lose.
Even though they'd braced themselves for the possibility, actually accepting it was sothing else entirely.
And the fact that Coach Nekomata wasn't disappointed or scolding them—it made the loss feel even harder to bear than any harsh words could.
"Haha…"
Sensing the sorrow weighing on his team, Coach Nekomata chuckled softly.
"It's okay to lose this one."
"Volleyball is a ga of wins and losses."
"We can try to cut down on defeats, but we can't completely erase them."
"No one wins forever!"
"What we can do—what we must do—is grow stronger through each loss."
"Next ti, we'll take it back!"
"Yes!!"
