[Chapter Size: 2000 Words.]

Third Person POV

Great Britain.

...

...

Severus remained silent. It was just him as the only soul in that city, and the glow beginning to erge in the sky, while the cot was already inside the atmosphere.

He did not know how the world was reacting at that mont outside the city, but certainly everyone must have noticed the cot advancing visibly across the sky, with various parts of the country seeing the enormous block of ice slicing through the air with its intense glow.

The shadow at Severus's feet began to manifest at that instant and quickly expanded behind him, covering the streets and the rooftops of houses and buildings.

His army began to materialize, erging from the darkness, while the winged creatures advanced into the sky. All those who possessed long-range attacks began to manifest: dragons, the angels, Kargalgan, and the two mages he had transford into shadows. Tens of thousands of creatures were gathered under his leadership.

The dragons stepped onto rooftops, sinking them under their weight alone, while their bodies adjusted, prepared to attack. Severus watched everything in silence, his hands in his pockets, while his cloak fluttered in the wind. The thousands of creatures stood behind him, ready to attack as soon as the Monarch gave the order.

The cot continued tearing through the air, cutting through the clouds as it advanced directly toward London. Its speed was decreasing, but it was still falling rapidly.

Severus raised his hand and pointed. In the next mont, all the frozen warriors began to create their long-range attacks. The wizards transford into shadows did not have sufficient range, so they remained silent, while other creatures prepared themselves. Kargalgan began to emit his runic circles with magical seals, and the dragons started to glow, gathering energy in their mouths, ready to attack.

"Fire." Severus gave the command.

In the next instant, everyone fired at the cot advancing toward London. Shot after shot crossed the sky, with flashes of every color. The dragons unleashed bursts of energy, the gargoyle chariots spewed their draconic fire, and magic surged with full force toward the sky.

Even those who were outside the city, observing everything with caution, were able to see the lights being fired, thousands of attacks advancing together.

The teor, which should have been at around thirty thousand feet, began to be violently struck by the magic. The ice on its surface started to crack as the attacks hit, attacks that should have devastated everything, but sohow the ice was extrely resistant, with a layer of magic.

The attacks did not cease, and Severus soon joined the offensive. He manifested his staff, while an enormous sphere of purple light began to form above him. Severus flexed his body, spun the staff, and pointed it directly at the target. A blast of purple light exploded from the tip of the object, more powerful than any other attack coming from his shadows. After all, no one surpassed him in magic.

The impact was so powerful that it changed the color of the sky at the instant the energy collided with the ice, penetrating deeply into its interior.

Even the piercing attack, despite being small compared to the size of the cot, was causing considerable damage.

"You?!" Suddenly, a voice appeared beside him.

Severus barely had ti to react when he felt a spear of ice being fired at him. He imdiately interrupted the attack and raised his defenses, knowing he would not be able to dodge it.

The mont the spear struck his shield, Severus was hurled backward, smashing into the buildings. His launched body passed through not just one building, but at least five or six of them, with an explosive echo resounding throughout the area.

Severus was fine, with his shield protecting him, but he had certainly been caught off guard. He got up still holding his staff.

"It can't be... How could it be you?" The irritated and confused voice erged as Severus stepped out of the destroyed building.

Before him stood a white creature, staring at him intently. Its ears were pointed, its hair white as snow, as were its eyes. Its skin was slightly bluish, as if made of ice. It emanated the aura of a Monarch of the Giants.

The creature clenched its teeth as it looked at him.

"It's you, you beca the Monarch of Shadows? It's really you. You survived. Mouro." It was not a question. "Even with another body... I would recognize that aura anywhere," said the Ice Monarch.

"Hello, Rosen. It's been so ti," Severus said, observing the kind of creature his old companion had beco. He had absorbed the power of the Ice Monarch well and transford into that form. Severus could also feel the aura of death that only a true Monarch possessed. That creature had certainly destroyed several planets.

"How are you here? Are you with that Ruler?" the Monarch snarled.

Severus raised an eyebrow. Ruler? Severus's mind imdiately went to Steve. Could he be a Ruler? In the end, that did not matter now.

"Either way, you seem to have quite an interest in this world, to the point that a second Monarch has co here in such a short ti..." Severus snorted, as the Ice Monarch narrowed his eyes.

Severus's shadows continued firing attacks at the sky without stopping. That was the order he had given them all imdiately. Even if the Monarch decided to co there to face him, they would still be useful, further destroying the cot. When Severus's attack pierced through the cot, he gained at least fifteen levels, while the shadows continued firing and increasingly filling his experience bar as they destroyed the monsters inside it. In addition, the blows also weakened the enemy army.

The Ice Monarch did not seem to notice this at all. He rely stared at Severus, frustrated.

"Well, this was a world I intended to conquer, but a Monarch of the Giants arrived first. To be honest, I felt sothing in this direction, so I ca here. I found this world and knew sothing was wrong. I never imagined I would find you. We were searching for the ring of the Monarch of Shadows... But it seems it was you who killed the Monarch of the Giants, wasn't it? I should have realized sothing was wrong as soon as I felt that this world had beco magically more powerful. I just never imagined that this would co from a single person."

"Enough nonsense, Rosen. You are more arrogant than I rember, but it doesn't matter. You will pay for everything you have done. Your betrayal and the worlds you destroyed will et the sa fate as the Monarch of the Giants," Severus said, as three shadows began to manifest behind him.

Bellion, Beru, and Igris appeared and quickly spread out, surrounding the Ice Monarch, each occupying a different position. Severus created a dagger and stared at him.

"Your foolishness brought you here without your army. Now there is a chance to destroy you before the cot falls," Severus said, while the Ice Monarch still seed extrely frustrated.

The Ice Monarch was frustrated; he wanted answers. Morou's body had been dead in that hall, he and the other Monarchs were certain of it, when the betrayal occurred at the Temple of Order. Even so, the power of the Monarch of Shadows had disappeared from the ring and was now there, bound to another being. Moreover, Severus possessed powerful shadows, as he could clearly sense.

His gaze finally turned to the sky, watching the attacks continue to strike the cot.

It was at that mont that the Ice Monarch realized he needed to act quickly. But he barely had ti to react when, suddenly, the four advanced against him. Severus transford into lightning, shooting forward at his maximum speed. Beru, Igris, and Bellion did not lag behind.

The Ice Monarch focused and began to conjure magic. In the next instant, pillars of ice rose throughout the area, destroying buildings and streets around the location.

The teor continued advancing, full of shattered parts, but even so it ended up colliding with one side of London, failing to be completely stopped. The impact was imdiate. A large area exploded, buildings were destroyed for several blocks, and everything was taken over by ice. The shock also devastated nearby structures as collateral damage.

There was no titanic explosion like that of a common teor. That cot was different. Its speed had been reduced upon entering the atmosphere, as the creatures inside it needed to be preserved.

The shadows did not cease their attacks even after the impact. They continued firing at the cot on the ground, striking it repeatedly while explosions spread and the ice crackled, breaking as the impact dug ever deeper.

In another part of the city, a battle was taking place at that very mont. Severus and his three shadows were beginning to corner the Ice Monarch, who was hurled against the buildings, exploding with his own body upon impact, spitting blood.

Rosen could not help but be even more surprised. Even at a disadvantage, those shadows were equally powerful. "Damn it... I need my army," he ca to the conclusion.

But the obvious was right before him: he was losing and could truly be killed. His only defense was to keep creating layers of ice as protection.

Beru appeared far above him, his claws descending to kill him, but he was quick enough to turn his body into ice and expand it, creating sharp spikes. As he moved through the ice, lightning began to fall from the sky, firing against him. The Ice Monarch was struck, and if he did not possess such great resistance, he would have been defeated right there. His body began to beco partially paralyzed due to the lightning coursing through his form.

Igris's sword ca down next. He managed to create an ice spear in ti and strike Igris before the knight completed the attack, hitting him precisely and causing him to turn into black mist.

Soon after ca Bellion, the most difficult to deal with after Severus. He hurled his sword, extending it like a whip and cutting the Monarch, who responded by firing ice while creating enormous icebergs throughout the area, easily surpassing any building or house, as all constructions were shattered.

But by no ans were those three the greatest problem for the Ice Monarch.

Severus circled the destroyed area with ease, transford into blue lightning. Everything seed to explode in slow motion as he advanced along the flanks of the Ice Monarch.

He barely had ti to protect his face, raising his hand in front of him, when the dagger Severus wielded with his other hand struck his palm to shield himself, embedding itself there and stopping just a few centiters from his face, making his hand gush blood even onto his face.

The Ice Monarch expanded the ice of his body once more, creating sharp spikes, forcing Severus to pull back. Even so, Severus did not fail to cut his hand as he withdrew the dagger, tearing out a cry of pain.

"You bastard..." he muttered, retreating slightly while observing his own hand, with torn skin and blood dripping.

He never imagined he would be in a situation like that simply for facing Severus head-on. Now, he was paying for his mistake.

Severus did not waste ti and fired fireballs at the Monarch, who reacted with his only other intact hand, creating layers of ice to prevent the flas from advancing.

The flas destroyed an entire block, but were halted by the ice. Then lightning fell from the sky, further intensifying the destruction, breaking the ice this ti, but still not enough to cause damage to the Monarch.

Severus then shot through the lightning into the bed of ice, and upon arriving there, a white light was intensifying as he approached. He knew that the Ice Monarch was accumulating a massive amount of mana, reaching up to 20,000 mana points.

The Ice Monarch would not be able to reach the fallen cot in ti, and so he made his move.

In the next mont, the entire city exploded in ice.
