Third Person POV

Great Britain.

...

...

The fireplace burst into green flas as Severus erged from it, accompanied by Dumbledore and Lady Vicência Santos, along with a group of people from the ICW who ca with them.

The hall was filled with people speaking to each other in the Japanese language, while their shouting indicated they seed to be openly arguing. Severus saw the crowd that began to stare at them and soon after lifted his gaze, paying attention to the place, filled with Japanese symbols with runic glows in many of the words and an ancient classical Japanese architecture, but with a modern touch.

He couldn't help but think that Japan might use its own kanji as magical runes instead of English ones — it was interesting — but he soon dismissed the thought and saw the crowd staring at him as n and won of higher status among them rushed to receive them.

"Lady Vicência! Long ti no see!" An elderly man approached, but he wasn't Japanese, he looked more Chinese, and Severus, if he wasn't mistaken, believed him to be the forr Minister of Magic of China, Liu Tao, and there was also the Minister of Magic of Japan beside him — Liu Tao was a man who had run alongside Vicência Santos before she was elected, while they prevented the rise of Grindelwald, who at the ti wanted the position of Supre Chief of the International Confederation of Wizards, to control the wizards of the entire world and start a war against the Muggles, as Dumbledore had predicted then.'

Anyway, Severus didn't want to listen to them talking and simply acted, he opened his staff by transforming his ring into it. It materialized in his hand, and he simply didn't care about the conversation in front of him with the figures who should have been important.

He struck the staff on the ground, emitting a small but continuous high-pitched sound. Invisible waves to the eyes of others began to spread. Severus could see them.

They advanced at a speed as fast as sound, mapping the entire building as they expanded outward, quickly leaving the Japanese castle — where the country's Ministry of Magic was located — and continuing, undulating like a scanner, sweeping the entire region for kiloters.

Severus found eight destroyed cities, with people buried, and two giants still devastating them.

He could feel, through the scanning, all the destruction: corpses, destroyed buildings and houses, many of them people buried and others in shelters, needing dical care and urgent necessities, Japan could not reach them.

His action drew attention, interrupting even the greetings of Vicência Santos and the leaders and forr leaders who were in Japan to help. Even Dumbledore looked curiously at Severus, with the staff still touching the ground.

"What spell did you use?" asked Dumbledore.

To him, Severus was still a great mystery since he first saw him tonight. They had not exactly talked about what had happened in the incident in England at least an hour ago, but he knew the young man was different — he did things he couldn't do before.

To everyone there, he had simply struck the staff on the ground and nothing seed to happen, but Dumbledore knew Severus had done sothing, sothing imperceptible to the others. The glow of the staff and the movent drew everyone's attention around them, that was why they looked at him, they had never seen that kind of staff, not one with glowing runes and a light at the tip with a crystal floating a few centiters above it.

Severus lifted his gaze to Dumbledore. "I was just scanning the region. I can't scan the whole country yet, but I can do it for dozens of kiloters. I found eight destroyed cities and two giants within my sensory field," Severus said calmly, surprising Dumbledore.

"You scanned kiloters with just that movent…? I didn't even feel a magical ripple," he murmured. "I've never heard of a spell like that." Dumbledore would be shocked to know that Severus had just created that spell right there, simply asked his own magic to do what he wanted and the spell was created.

Anyway, he turned back to the front, after ignoring the greetings, and even the two giants disappeared from his mind for now.

Vicência then broke the silence. "Well… let introduce him. This is Severus Prince."

His na quickly drew everyone's attention. Severus had already been ntioned in Japan almost two weeks earlier, when concerns began to arise about portals appearing through magical paintings all over the world — and also the portal in the sky over Tokyo, which drew even more attention. They had connected the case to him, and they weren't wrong in the end, but still hadn't given it much importance.

But when the portal opened and the terror of the giants began, Japan desperately sought help as nothing stopped the giants. As the magical world advanced into the country to try to stop the destruction — and failed, while the giants destroyed both the wizarding and Muggle worlds — many began to search for Severus Prince.

At the sa ti, he simply wasn't anywhere.

Japan began proclaiming him as the hero they sought — more than ever. Knowing that he was there, without any warning, surprised everyone. Only a few people knew he had returned, and the news from England still hadn't reached Japan, nor the announcent of his return, since he had co straight here and it had been only one hour since he ca out of the portal.

"It's him…"

"The man who can defeat monsters…"

"The one who controls dark magic, necromancy… but also fights against creatures like the giants we faced here…"

"He saved Atlantis and also the magic school, Hogwarts!"

"It ans he's here to destroy the giants! Japan can be saved!"

"We don't need to evacuate anymore, maybe he can deal with the giants at once!"

"Did you see the strength of the giants? Maybe not even he can handle them! They're far too powerful, we didn't stand a chance!"

"This guy can save us… save our land!"

"I can't imagine anyone else who could do this."

"I've heard everything about this guy, but he's so young…"

"They say he ca from another world and rged with this one's soul…"

"That he is two people…"

"And what if he's with the monsters?"

"Doesn't seem like it, since he fought against them the whole ti."

"I just wonder where he was… If he had been here earlier, countless lives could have been saved."

"Then ask him! No one knew where he was all this ti. The Ministry of Great Britain couldn't find him..."

"He doesn't seem like the type who runs away… if he were, he wouldn't be here now, right?"

People kept arguing nonstop, all in Japanese, but Severus could hear them clearly. He could, with a simple automatic charm, translate everything he heard. He still hadn't fully mastered Japanese, but a simple spell solved the problem.

"Severus Prince." The Minister of Magic of Japan, who had been speaking with Vicência, looked at him with a mix of caution and hope.

"Tell … are you here to help Japan? Tell us you can deal with these monsters." The question drew everyone's attention.

"From what I sensed, they are extrely powerful. No wonder no one managed to deal with them..." Severus, with a simple scan, was even able to asure the mana of the creatures — and all of them were at a level even above Kargalgan when he encountered him in the Orc dungeon, who was at the level of S-rank dungeon bosses, which he had destroyed in the last portals, not on the sa level as Beru, but still powerful. They had almost the sa strength as the Architect's statues.

"...However, I believe I can handle them. I only need to know what condition the giant standing in Tokyo is in. But I don't want to waste ti talking here. I just want to know the situation of the entire country and I will act imdiately," Severus said.

The man swallowed hard, but quickly nodded. If this boy really could save the country, he would even kneel for him, kiss his feet!

The crisis had destroyed even the Statute of Secrecy. The whole world already knew what was happening there, about the existence of wizards trying to stop the giants — and many even blad the wizarding world itself for the appearance of the creatures.

In any case, Severus continued listening to all the explanations: from the appearance of the giants, how the Japanese army was spread across the country trying to save civilians, and how no weapon had been effective against them. Missiles, bullets… nothing pierced the creatures' tough skin. Unforgivable Curses and even Fiendfyre had been used by wizards who sacrificed themselves when they lost control, but nothing managed to destroy any of the giants. None had been killed. Only Dracula had managed to have a battle against one of them, but retreated.

Even Dumbledore had seen the main giant and stated that no human could deal with it. Certainly, that one would be even more difficult. The Muggle governnt was even discussing launching an atomic bomb directly at the main giant. However, Severus knew it could withstand the explosion and the radiation. Only a power infused with mana could destroy it.

After hearing all of that, Severus moved toward the door and found a crowd staring at him, with so people announcing his presence as he stepped out. Several Japanese reporters, as well as others from around the world, imdiately began taking pictures — now that they knew Severus Prince had arrived in Japan to stop the threat.

Tonight, the entire world would have its eyes on just one person — to the point that the Prince family had never been as well-known as they would beco from this mont onward. They had never been ntioned by the whole world the way they would be from that night.

People were already creating newspapers right there, using living magical quills, placing his photos on the sa sheet of paper and beginning to distribute them.

Severus ignored it and shook his head. He just needed to leave what seed to be a huge Japanese temple, where their Ministry of Magic was located, and disappear, heading to the first city.

"Perhaps you should rest first. You haven't returned since tonight…" Vicência couldn't help but ask, accompanying Severus outside, through the reporters. It was a little petty on her part to do so, but everything was politics.

Associating Severus with the ICW showed that they were working together to protect Japan, a way to reassure people to be more open to their help, as well as boost the organization's prestige for having summoned him. It was a political gain for everyone, as silly as it seed. But that didn't matter and he continued at Vicência's side, earning several photos of that mont.

"No. I'm going to deal with these giants. I'll try to handle the others before sunrise," Severus declared in response to her question.

Vicência nodded, though hesitant.

Severus then noticed soone among the reporters. His gaze fell directly on a person he didn't expect to see there.

Steve Vujin was smiling at him while writing, wearing a press badge from an English newspaper — The Quibbler.

Severus narrowed his eyes, but Steve Vujin only widened his smile, nodding as if he were pleased, or even as if he had been waiting for Severus to co to Japan.

Severus couldn't help but think of the Architect — of what he had said. There was another person… who had betrayed him, according to him...

There was the possibility of a second presence the Architect ntioned, soone influencing the system or interfering with the portals. Could it be that man? Severus stared at him with a dangerous expression, but Steve Vujin didn't seem to care. Even with Severus's current power being far greater than before, the man appeared to completely ignore his aura.

anwhile, the people around them began to feel weak, dizzy, so nearly fainting — and Severus's attention wasn't even on them. Just by being close enough to Steve Vujin, they were affected while Severus continued threatening him with glowing eyes.

Severus had no idea what that man wanted, but he simply moved away from the entrance, far enough from the crowd, and materialized his staff once more.

"I'm going now," was all he said before bending his legs and simply blowing apart the ground, drawing a gasp of surprise from Dumbledore and Vicência, as well as from the entire crowd.

He shot into the air imdiately, gripping the staff almost like a human missile — reminiscent of Superman from Arican comic books.

The people only stared at it, stunned. They had never seen a wizard fly like that. He had launched himself as fast as a jet — and was now heading straight for the first city.
