Third Person POV

Outside the Planet.

...

...

Sowhere else... outside the planet.

An icy cot that was advancing toward Earth began to change course. It shouldn't have co so close to Earth, just over a week after entering the solar system, but the cot was flying so fast that it could be called the fastest cot ever recorded. After all, usually a cot travels at 100 km/s. However, this one traveled at 5000 km/s, 50 tis faster than those recorded.

It seed to be coming toward Earth, until it headed toward the neighboring planet, Mars, colliding with the red soil. At such a high speed, it should have shattered the planet, but against all known physics, that was not what happened. The only thing caused by the impact was the ice spreading everywhere as it began to strike the ground, turning a large region of Mars into pure ice.

The planet was not affected in any other way, which should have been impossible, but the fall of the strange icy cot did nothing more than leave a frozen mark.

This was being recorded on Earth.

In a room, full of agents from countless space agencies, they were all stunned by the arrival of this mysterious cot.

Several places around the world began to record it, after a scientist nad Carl Sagan was the first to identify the strange cot. And after spending much of his life as an astronor, astrophysicist, and science communicator, Carl Sagan was frightened by this cot. It was so destructive that it made him rush to call all the world authorities.

The world was in danger.

The world would be destroyed if this cot collided with Earth.

Everything indicated that it was heading toward the sun, and all the governnts and institutions that studied space fixed their eyes on it. First, they wanted to calculate whether this thing, traveling faster than any other object of that size in space, was about to crash into Earth or not.

The fear weighed on Carl Sagan's shoulders and on scientists across the world, as they all began to calculate.

Governnts created a secret council, gathering presidents and the greatest powers of the world, whether from Japan, Europe, Chile, and even the two entities in the middle of the Cold War. The United States and Russia (USSR) could not be left out.

Without knowing what was happening in the magical and hidden world on Earth, the greatest non-magical rulers were gathering and beginning to foresee the end of the world.

At the sa ti, the eting was highly secret. Nothing was to be said to the public while the threat from the sky drew closer, less than 24 hours after the cot was discovered.

Besides the lack of public disclosure, the astrophysics agencies themselves also shut down, under orders from the governnt, to the point of receiving threats if they revealed information even to the company's shareholders. No one outside those inside knew of the danger the world was facing.

They had even forgotten the strange phenonon in the sky happening in Tokyo. Which they were also studying, not understanding what it ant for the sky to be red day and night... People were starting to panic in the capital of Japan. But that no longer mattered.

Two days ago, they managed to calculate with the Earth's rotation and discovered sothing alarming: the cot would hit Earth. The end of the world had co for everyone, after all.

The information was not received with joy, obviously. Only the most powerful people in the non-magical world knew about it, and imdiately the race began to save them along with their families. Even though the world knew nothing, they believed that avoiding panic would help them seal off the bunkers they had already created because of being in the middle of a Cold War.

They would only disclose it 24 hours before the world ended, and no one would survive what was coming. The wizarding world and the magical world would be destroyed and extinguished, perhaps the entire planet would be shattered, given the speed, and no one could do anything.

However, at that mont, the cot suddenly changed course.

"Can soone tell what is happening?!" said the U.S. Secretary of Defense, looking at the new reports while people ran back and forth.

"We don't know, sir, the cot simply changed course, and there is no gravitational force in our solar system that could do this, except for the sun itself," said one of the astrophysicists.

If the cot passed all the planets and went straight to the sun, it would be a relief for everyone. But since it had been heading toward Earth as it passed in front of it, it had frightened everyone. Now, however, no one knew what to say when the cot simply advanced toward Mars.

The reports continued for the next few hours, while laboratories in Chile had the best view of the cot that night, as it was the most aligned place in the world at that mont.

"Call the president of Chile, we need to see this!" said the secretary in an urgent tone. "Also put us directly on the line with the White House," he said, worried, not knowing whether to feel relieved or not—after all, another planet could be shattered near Earth. The danger would not go away, and humanity was still close to extinction, like the dinosaurs.

"Sir, it's the Soviet Union, they're on the line!" shouted a secretary.

"Good, put them on the line too," said the Secretary of Defense.

They continued talking while monitoring the cot's course, until it collided with Mars. However, the planet shattering from the force of the impact did not happen—it looked more like a direct strike on the planet's surface.

Either way, the entire world that had been waiting for this mont was lost.

At the sa ti, on Mars.

The ice had taken over everything, while colossal rocks reaching hundreds of kiloters in height were scattered across the region where the cot had struck.

Inside those ice formations, there were frozen creatures—elves, ice golems, ice dragons, bears, among many other species of beings.

But while all the strange creatures were trapped inside the ice, soone was walking across the surface of Mars. His feet froze the red ground, even though they did not truly produce ice—after all, water was needed for that—but the soil reacted as soon as the stranger's steps touched it.

This sa being looked upward, toward the star of that system. Near the star, there was a planet—the planet he was moving toward to land. He gazed with interest and a certain frustration, for he had not reached the destination he desired after sensing sothing in that world.

A colleague, to be more specific, had arrived there first and opened a portal.

"How could you have arrived before ... This is frustrating..." he said, even in an atmosphere like that. He had white skin and long white hair, as well as white eyes, very different from the man he once was, ever since he surrendered and gave himself over to the ring he now wore.

This was the Monarch of Ice, and behind him were at least 500,000 creatures he had brought with him to scatter across that world. He had not planned to co here, but sothing had caught his attention.

A mory of detecting a disturbance near where he was, in that sa galaxy... sothing he had believed to be dead. And so he ca here to confirm it, while also taking more creatures by turning the inhabitants of that world into his ice servants.

That was how he was gathering armies together with the others—transforming people from the worlds he and his colleagues were destroying into creatures of their domains. At the sa ti, he needed to sacrifice trillions of lives just to create an army of 500,000, though he could repeat this on countless planets.

But as he got closer to the planet, he realized that another Monarch had already begun to open a portal. And there was a rule among the Monarchs, ever since they began attacking civilizations scattered across all directions: no planet should be invaded once a Monarch had laid claim to it.

"It should not be invaded, but I can talk a little," said the Monarch of Ice, making his eyes shine before a portal appeared in front of him, white as snow, as he stepped forward and entered it.

"What is this?!" said a frightened man in Japanese, in an alley in Tokyo, as he looked at the portal appearing out of nowhere, not knowing what it was.

Then a creature appeared, making all the hairs on his body stand on end just by seeing it. "What is this?!" he exclaid.

"It seems this world has humans, and apparently, they are the only intelligent species..." the creature spoke in a strange language, and the man only scread and began to run. But before he could take another step, his body froze completely.

Footsteps were heard as the creature touched the ice sculpture of the man before squeezing the hand, and in the next mont, the man shattered into several frozen pieces like a block of ice breaking apart.

"Now let's see," said the stranger, disappearing from there.

At the top of a building in the heart of Tokyo, the ice creature appeared, looking with interest at the portal.

"It's almost opening... And this world." After looking at the portal, he began to sense so strange things in this world. "How strange..." He didn't seem to know what he was feeling, didn't know what to think about it, but this world did not seem as simple as it appeared. He looked at the buildings and scoffed—this world was far too primitive.

At the sa ti, several people felt the uninvited presence in this world. They felt an intense cold, like the worst winter multiplied a million tis—so overwhelming that people fainted, and seers grew terrified.

At Hogwarts.

Dumbledore, who was in his office, felt a shiver, as if the world were being covered in snow and death, without him being able to do anything.

"What is this?!" he said, more frightened than at any other mont in his life.

In various places around the world.

"The winter that brings death and the end of the world is upon us!" Seers began to cry out with distorted voices all over the world, frightening everyone who heard them, wondering what was happening.

Sowhere in London.

"He is here?!" said a voice full of hatred, while glowing yellow eyes grew ever more intense.

At the Prince Mansion.

"Severus?! Severus?!" Rosaria's voice sounded fearful toward Severus, while he no longer paid attention to her training. All he did was stare, stunned, into nothingness.

"This presence... It cannot be..." He felt the overwhelming power of winter arising out of nowhere in this world.

Back in Japan.

"What are you doing here, Monarch of Ice?" Then a voice arose like thunder from the sky, and the Monarch of Ice looked up at the red sky, a smile spreading across his face.

"It's been a long ti, Monarch of Giants," he said.
