Alustus’s body radiated a dark, eerie neon green, the color of his natrual corruption, mixes with miasma around him.
Unlike the others Sidhe, he is able pull in so much, the natrual purple color of it, appears black as shadow due to compress reserves Alustus naturally pulls in and stores.
It ford a sphere around him like the other Sidhe, from afar he look like glowing dark sun.
And inside that pulsing energy, he moved forward, approaching the tentacle-like woman.
Her bluish-purple skin glistened from the light of his existence, as he approaches closer to her. Her orange eye’s locked onto his glowing green one as Alustus spoke.
"Sigh! Tell , Alcey... what do you know about the Monster Lords?"
Alcey blinked, caught off guard by the question. Her eye widened slightly before she tilted her head, answering with a cautious tone.
"Hmm well apart from the fact that they’re absurdly powerful. And that they are the strongest monsters alive today. And don’t even get started on the Antediluvian ones... All things considered my beloved, it would just be best if we just stay the hell away from them. You are strong, but as you are right now, your less than a bacteria to them."
Alcey said, she didn’t want to hurt or amber he beloved, but their had to be limits to ambition.
Alustus had imnse potential, and she was confident that he took could maybe one day achieve the status of king.
But right now, it was a far away dream.
However Alustus was determined to learn more at all cost, as such he continued to question Alcey.
"Interesting indeed, although tell my queen, what exactly is the difference between a Monster Lord and a Monster King?"
Alustus narrowed his eyes.
He had knowledge of the different Monster Kings thanks to the power of the Systems Identifier lore ability, but not their origin, and the sa goes for the different lords as well.
Alcey of course gave him a strange look, like she was surprised he didn’t know, but then she sighed and started to explain.
"Okay, long story short? Trillions of years ago, there was this super powerful monster that ca into being. The first monster King, who was born from the Divine Spirit of Malevolence."
Alcey explained, her hand on her hip as she look at Alustus who was in deep thinking.
But his gaze went to Alcey, it was clear to her what he wanted, as such she continued, getting into the more juicy parts of the story.
"The na of this monster was Typhon. He was the first Monster King. For a ti he was alone in this world, as such one day out of loneliness he created thirteen other monsters from his own body."
"Those beca the first generation of Monster Kings, or as he calls them, his little siblings. Each one embodied a different primal aspect he created from his own mind."
Alustus raised a brow when Alcey said this.
Then his reply ca out flat
"So he basically made his own competition?"
Upon hearing this it made Alcey chuckled a bit as she folds her arm, then close her eyes as she responded.
"You would think. But back then, it wasn’t much about ruling, he just wanted others to share his lonely world with. And that was how things where at first, Each sibling started making monsters of their own, they created the purebloods. These where the monsters that inherited the full bloom genetic traits the aspects their creator’s embodied."
"For a ti, the Monster World in all it’s Chao’s was a place blooming with pure bloods, but all good things must co to an end."
Alcey voice dropped a little, and Alustus just listen as she continues her story.
"Typhon went mad, after being betrayed not once but five tis by his own siblings. Till one day he snapped in his anger. One by one, he hunted down his siblings, killed them, devoured them, mind, body, and soul. He took everything they were and nd them directly back into himself. And for a ti the Monster World was left without it’s many kings, and like before; loneliness haunt him once more."
Alustus nodded slowly. Truly it was a sad story, but I his opinion why care about family, if he had absolute power.
But then he wonderer, if the kings where dead, the who made the current crowns.
It puzzled him, as such he had to ask.
"So... where do the Lords co in the picture?!"
"Sigh you are so impatient darling, I was getting to that."
Alcey explained.
Then like she promised, she started to explain more on the lore of the Lord’s.
"Now before you know about the Lord’s, you have to understand how they even ca to be."
"You see, after killing his fellow brothers and sisters, Typhon realized sothing. The world he created was too vast. And share amount of Monster in it where too many for him to just rule and organize over."
"He realize that he needed order. So on his attempt of making life, he did not made siblings this ti around rather, he made himself a wife, a female counterpart to rule beside him as queen and one that was specialized in breeding and leadership, her na was Echidna. The Great Mother, and the first Monster Lord."
"Wait, hold on. He made a wife?"
Alcey asked a little surprised by Typhon train of thoughts.
"Yup. Straight out of his own flesh again. Romantic, huh?"
Alcey smirked, and said.
"Together, they made more monsters, of course, what would you expect a powerful monster like that to do the mont he has worthy vessels for his children."
"And eventually, one of their many kids... ended up doing the impossible. From the bottom he rose up to the top, and beca a Monster King on his own. He was the first ever Monster to acheive the unique evolution instead of being born one or given the position."
"It goes without saying he was Typhon pride. As his son, his own flesh and blood, he was not only super strong, but exceedingly loyal. And above all things else, that was what mattered the most to Typhon."
"So much so that to rewards him, he rewrote the entire foundation of the Monster World. And with his great power he split the entire Monster World into thirteen aspects, each a reflections of the siblings he devoured."
"And after he did that, he remade his son into the literal embodint of the entire system. A walking world-core, just as a planet has it core, so too does does this world, the only difference is this one is alive."
"Khircius was his na, and for years to co he goes by nickna of The Second-Born of Typhon. The Second True Monster King. And after Typhon was killed by the first Overlord of Mankind, Khircius took the throne. And to this day, he is still our king today."
Said Alcey.
"Hmm, I have heard that this word was indeed rule by a Monster King called the Second Born. But I never knew it was child from the Firstborn."
"Mhm, other King are called false born, but since he is natrual born one he is classified as a true born."
Right after Alustus then asked.
"And I guess this so call Khircius, is the reason for the current lords right?"
"Yes, Khircius is the reason why the thirteen crowns even exist to begin with."
She confird his suspicions, as she continued her explanation.
"How the lord ca about was for the sa reason Typhon made a wife. Khircius couldn’t rule everything alone."
"So he appointed thirteen Monster Lords; each one representing one of the thirteen aspects of the Monster World. That is how the current system began."
"Thirteen thrones. Thirteen crowns. The Lords rule their own domains, but they all answer to him."
"And those Antediluvians you ntioned?"
"The originals. The ones who’ve held their titles since the beginning. Five of the thirteen never lost their thrones. The rest? They’ve been killed, devoured, and replaced, over and over again."
Going by the information, Alustus began to connect the dots, on how a Monster Lord is chosen or how they ca to be.
"So to beco a Lord...
He paused, and Alcey nodded her head to confirm his words, as she also said.
"Yes it as you are thinking... You have to kill one to beco one. Rip’em apart, devour their essence, in order to take their place. That is the law of the Monster Lords. It is a brutal system, but if a Monster Lord gets killed off by another one it just ans they were unfitted to rule to begin with."
All this information ca as both a shocker and a motivation to Alustus as he began to think to himself.
’...Tch. I have to complete my evolution, no matter what. If Khircius could ascend to the level of True Monster King naturally, then with my System? Heh... it’s practically guaranteed.’
’I just need more offerings. More Altars. More blood and belief to fuel the climb. But right now... I’ve got bigger problems.’

A low growl rumbled in his throat.

Alcey watches as Alustus aura began to flare up again, but she didn’t dare to question his anger.
But soon he calm down as he looked at his mate and said.
"Alcey I need you do a favor, I am going to summon Berreta, but I also need you to...
