Maris slept for three days.

During that ti, the palace buzzed with conflicting energies: awe, fear, uncertainty.

> A Nullborn had not only been defeated—

She had been reclaid.

The priestesses whispered.

The Council watched.

And far beneath the throne, the System trembled.

When Maris finally opened her eyes, the room was dark except for a single fla hovering beside her.

She reached for it instinctively.

It hovered into her palm.

And it didn’t burn.

"I don’t feel the commands anymore," she whispered. "I don’t hear the voices. Just mine."

Ryon knelt beside her.

"You’ve always been in there. They just buried you."

Her voice cracked. "They called ’the Forgotten Queen.’ Said I was ant to rule after the first Sovereign failed."

Ryon frowned. "Failed?"

Maris nodded slowly.

> "There was one before you. Before . A Sovereign who united too many threads... and turned on the System."

> "They erased her from the histories. But her code... is still alive."

That evening, Ryon summoned his bonded threads to the Flacouncil:

Kaela, general of the rising revolution.

Lyria, who could now see three seconds into the future.

Elara, quiet as dusk but sharp as glass.

Neive, decoding System relics faster than they could be created.

Shaera, restless and hungry for war.

Maris, the reawakened queen who used to be a weapon.

The topic:

> Q-Ω.

"Eighty-four bonded threads?" Kaela asked, voice low. "That’s an army."

"She’s a myth," Elara added, unsure.

Neive shook her head. "No myth. I’ve seen fragnts. The System tried to burn her out. But she left a scar."

"A Sovereign who betrayed the System..." Lyria whispered. "She might be what we beco—if we go too far."

Maris finally spoke.

"She didn’t betray them," she said. "They feared her. Because she stopped listening."

That night, Maris approached Ryon alone.

She placed her hand over his heart.

"Do you trust again?" she asked softly.

He didn’t answer with words.

He leaned down and kissed her—

And for the first ti since their bond returned—

There was no pain.

Only fire.

Warm. Gentle. Human.

And then—

Her mory opened.

A glimpse.

Of a woman cloaked in stars.

With silver hair, a crown of ash, and eyes like burned glass.

And behind her—

An army of Sovereigns.

Waiting.

Frozen.

Forgotten.
