Weeks earlier on the Dark Forest, Shin road looking for a specific monster he needed to kill.
And finally, after hours of tracking traces left by the target, he had found the gigantic serpent. His lips curled into a satisfied smile.
However, the beast was surprisingly fast for its size. It darted away quickly through the forest, chasing a lone girl.
Shin watched from the top of a very tall tree, near a structure, as the girl leaped over a dead monster bear with surprising agility, landing lightly before imdiately accelerating again.
"Get back here, you oversized lizard!" she shouted.
The monster screeched and rushed toward her. The giant snake was a top predator, so it didn’t pay much attention to its surroundings while hunting.
What would prove to be a gigantic mistake. The snake didn’t notice as Shin disappeared, moving in its direction.
Everything happened in an instant. And with a precise strike, Shin carved his sword deep into the creature’s skull.
The running girl blinked in shock seeing how the beast suddenly froze mid-motion. For a brief instant, everything beca silent. Then a purple flash cut through the air.
To finish the fight off, Shin made a clean cut, separating the monster’s head from its body. Its massive corpse crashed against the dirt, sliding several ters across the ground.
The girl stopped abruptly. Her smile beca annoyed as she saw the serpent’s body collapse completely, revealing a young and good-looking man behind it.
Shin calmly flicked the blood from his sword before turning toward the girl.
"I finally found it..." he murmured to himself, still not even paying attention to the girl whose life he had ’saved’.
"Seriously?!" The sudden outburst made him stop and look at the woman.
He was imdiately t by her uniquely strong eyes and unmistakable beautiful face. Carolina, she was a very popular character in the ga. And a very uniquely powerful one too.
"I had that! It was my prey! You have no right of barging in and killing it like that!" She leaned toward him, her whole face contorting in annoyance.
Her natural huge tits swayed with the fast movent, pressing her small black top to the limit for an instant. The motion caught Shin’s attention for a second.
"And don’t you dare stare!" Carolina complained, noticing how Shin’s eyes flickered down.
I forgot how annoying she could be in the beginning... he thought.
"I have eyes, so don’t expect to move them away from a beauty," Shin answered with a confident smile, his eyes strongly eting hers. "Besides, you should know your clothes are hard to ignore."
Her outfit leaned heavily toward black, and was definitely sexy.
She wore a sleeveless crop top that hugged her huge tits, while a loose jacket hung from her shoulders as if she couldn’t be bothered to wear it properly.
The look was completed by tiny black shorts that hugged her hips, barely containing the lush swell of her ass and perfectly revealing her thick thighs.
Delicate silver chains dangled around the waistband, completing the goth bitch look she had.
"But I have to admit, your eyes are even harder to ignore," Shin said.
Wanting both to provoke her and demonstrate the vast gap between them, he moved. In the blink of an eye, he was standing directly in front of her.
Before she could react, his right hand gently brushed aside the long, silky strands that fell across her face, uncovering the eye they had been hiding.
The motion revealed both of her beautiful violet eyes in full. Shin held her gaze for a mont, a faint smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
"Violet is a beautiful color..." he teased. "I wonder what it is that you see with these mysterious eyes of yours."
Carolina imdiately slapped his hand away and quickly settled her hair back over one of the eyes. Her lips twitched into an annoyed pout.
"Don’t touch like that," she scread, but her body trembled just a bit. Her eyes glimred with doubt.
Shin unconsciously smiled. She always tried to make herself look strong. But she was definitely worried about him.
"Are you wondering if I know about your powers?" Shin teased her even more.
Carolina’s eyes widened for a second, but she quickly hid all her emotions.
"Don’t worry, I don’t even know you. How could I know about your system?"
Shin walked past her so fast she barely noticed, taking a flower from the ground.
"Here, for you so you don’t feel bad," he placed the flower on her hair. "I’m sorry but preys don’t have owners, and this serpent is mine. By the way, you should just go away and leave the test area, because soon things are going to get dangerous."
"I don’t need you worrying about !" She scread, complaining.
Shin didn’t give her any more attention, turning around and paying attention to the serpent. He took out a dagger from his dinsional ring and began carving out material from the monster’s body.
"Hey! Don’t you dare ignore !" She complained, getting closer to him.
"Stop being so annoying. Shouldn’t you be thanking for killing this thing? There is no way you could have defeated this monster by yourself."
"I was not going to die."
"Sure... sure..." Shin murmured. There was no point in arguing anymore.
After he finished taking the material he wanted the most, and especially after he took its nucleus. Then he began walking away. He could have just accelerated and disappeared, but he purposefully walked just fast enough so Carolina could follow him.
And she did just that. After all, she was a stubborn woman. And even if it was risky, she could never give up on the chance of profiting.
"Hey! Wait, don’t go away so fast!" She complained once he gained distance.
"And why should I wait for you?" Shin asked, turning around briefly.
"Because I want to go with you!" Carolina complained. "I won’t leave when I can still gain so much." Her violet eyes glimred with greed.
"Very well," Shin finally smiled. "But I don’t want you slowing down."
Without waiting for her permission, he grabbed her, pressing her curvy body against his. And finally carried her up toward the hospital destination without hesitation.
Carolina scread all the way, complaining they were going too fast, but he couldn’t care less.
And finally they arrived at the lost portals, and as Shin expected, there was already soone there.
