Mo Qiang suddenly felt that she was too pitiful. Though she had more or less accepted Yin Fu and his dangerous identity, she truly could not accept his garish, bold and terrifying aesthetic.
Especially —
"Wife, everyone seed to be looking at us. Maybe they have never seen a couple as good-looking as us," Yin Fu was perfectly fine as he munched on his popcorn while walking around the streets of the Dead Star.
But Mo Qiang was not. She looked at the people who were staring at them because they were making a spectacle out of themselves and sighed.
Once he gave birth, she was going to tell Yin Fu that his fashion sense seriously needed to be changed. Scratch that she might as well hire a stylist for Yin Fu and tell him that she wanted him to try sothing new.
Given that he listened to her most of the ti, he might listen to her if she tried to manipulate him like this.
For now, she would just try to control herself.
"Oh!" Yin Fu gasped as he looked at the small stall which was selling mutated flowers. He walked over to the stall with Mo Qiang who helped him cross the street before coming to a stop in front of the stall. "Isn't this Flower of Eve?"
Mo Qiang looked at the little flower which had glowing blue petals. It looked like tulip but she knew that it was not tulip as the scent—
"Cilantro!" Mo Qiang's eyes brightened as she looked at the flowers in front of her. It turned out to be cilantro, what a surprising turn of events.
She never thought that a small walk would lead her to stumble into sothing so good.
"Madam! Master!" A portly and kind-faced woman walked over to the stall, she was wiping her forehead as she smiled at Mo Qiang and Yin Fu kindly. "Do you want to buy these flowers of eves? I just got the freshest batch this morning."
Yin Fu was about to nod and say that he just wanted to buy one. Flower of Eve was a highly toxic flower and when it was refined it turned into excellent poison.
Maybe if he gave this flower to his father-in-law, the latter would be pleased with him. After all Wen Gui was soone who dabbled in poison.
But before he could say that—
"Lady Boss, can you deliver your entire stock to the Mo house and oh if you have sothing else, can you show it to ?" Mo Qiang said to the boss, causing both Yin Fu and the lady boss to be stunned.
The lady boss was stunned because she was certain that she would hardly sell a few of these flowers as they were poisonous even if they were pretty and not many could use them.
And Yin Fu was stunned because he did not think that his wife would buy all the flowers. Why would she do that? Because he showed interest in them?
If so, his wife was so sweet!
"Yes! Yes! We have another stock. If you want I can bring it to you, Miss Mo," the lady boss was overjoyed when she thought about how she was going to earn a fortune today.
The lady boss did not want to delay Mo Qiang and Yin Fu who were obviously on a date and thus rushed inside the small storehouse where she had kept the rest of the flowers and plants.
She only had two plants. One of the plants had thin tendrils like green vines that moved.
"This is called Devil Mamba's snare," the lady boss told Mo Qiang who looked at the moving vines. "Each of the vines has multiple little fangs, one bite can paralyse soone for a day. That is only because they are really young, if they were two hundred days old, Devil Mamba snare can kill anyone."
Mo Qiang's lips twisted as she tried to suppress her upturned lips. What a fantastic na for this fantastic plant. She looked at the blue screen and felt her lips twitch even more.
Because on the screen, the na that was displayed was —
[Spring onions.]
Who would have thought that this delicious baby would one day beco a gangster baby?
"And this is called Tweezers of Hundred pins," Lady Boss relayed to Mo Qiang as she looked at the blood-red flowers that had multiple petals with little moving bugs inside of them.
However, on closer inspection, Mo Qiang realised that they were not bugs but actually small stans.
And within those stans were multiple fibre-like threads.
"If those pins touch your skin…you will feel really itchy all day long, so you better not co in contact with it. In fact, don't co in contact with any of the plants, Miss Mo."
Mo Qiang humd as she looked at the screen that displayed — Lotus.
Well, she had always been fond of lotus seeds and when she was a child, Mo Qiang truly wanted to grow lotus.
And have a lotus farm such that she could eat as many lotus seeds as possible. Because on New Year's only her brothers were allowed to eat lotus seeds, she was left with nothing.
Thus, she truly wanted to get her hands on the lotus seeds. However as she grew up and ventured into the real world, those things turned out to be so expensive that Mo Qiang did not dare to purchase them.
Yin Fu imdiately sensed that sothing was wrong with his wife. He noticed the air around her thinning and stood up as he was crouching in front of the flowers to take a close-up picture.
"Wife, are you okay?" He asked as he rubbed Mo Qiang's arm soothingly while holding the very sa arm with his free hand.
Mo Qiang snapped out of her bad mories. She turned to look at Yin Fu and the chill in her eyes lted as she looked at him supporting her while carrying her child.
She leaned forward and pecked him on the cheek before replying, "I am fine."
