"AHHHH!!!" Yu Cheng scread with his hands clutching his head. He nearly pulled his hair off his scalp, as he thought about the tragic state he was in at the mont.
If he couldn't raise the brush with his fingers, what was he supposed to do? How would he even beco a scholar? He needed his hands to write poems and essays. If he could not strain them, then what was he supposed to do?
"Yu Dong!" At that mont Yu Cheng hated Yu Dong even more because in his eyes she was the cause of his current situation. If she had stayed where she had been for all her life then Yu Cheng would not be in this condition.
If Yu Dong had no money would he be tempted to steal from her? If he was not tempted by the wealth of that woman, his hands would be fine today.
"What's wrong with you, Ah Cheng?" One of the dormitory mates walked inside the room as he looked at Yu Cheng whose expression was twisted into sothing oddly sinister.
When the man saw the expression on the face of Yu Cheng, the young man was stunned but a second later the expression on Yu Cheng's face turned gentle.
He politely asked, "It's nothing." He sighed and then shook his head before saying, "I just think soone has been keeping a keen eye on . Every ti I go out of the academy, the gaze becos even more fervent."
Yu Cheng knew that he could not continue staying at the academy. Sooner or later everyone would find out that there was sothing wrong with his hands. If that was the case then he might as well drag soone with him!
His eyes flashed with ruthlessness.

"Achoo," Shen Li sneezed as he turned his head to the side. He sniffled and rubbed his nose with the back of his hand before turning to look at his two sons. One was holding a large apple while the other one was holding a mango.
Seeing their powers getting stronger and stronger, Shen Li was getting a headache. He turned to look at his wife who was busy harvesting the fruits and pinched her on the waist.
"You! What are we going to do?" Shen Li asked with a frustrated expression.
Yu Dong let him pinch her waist as she said to him, "What can we do other than harvesting the fruits? Isn't it working? Their powers get exhausted after a while, doesn't it?"
"But their powers are getting stronger!" Shen Li hissed as he pinched her once again. "If this goes on then it would not stop at just a few fruits."
"You don't have to worry," Yu Dong sighed as she picked up the basket which she had filled with apples and mangoes. "As they grow up, they learn to control their powers. All you need to do is to let them know that this is wrong and nothing else, if you show them a stern expression when they show off their powers, the children will know that they are doing sothing wrong."
"If they are smart enough to know that holding a seed will give them trees and fruits. I think they can understand good and bad things."
Children with spiritual powers were smart to begin with.
"Ah Dong, this——"
"AHHH!!!" The shrill scream echoed in the village followed by the loud burst of panicked yelps. Yu Dong wasn't even surprised when she heard the panicked scream as the village hardly had a day of peace.
Was it because of her? When she was an officer, the area where she was appointed always got attacked more by the zombies than the other areas.
Maybe she was a trouble magnet.
"Let's go and see what happened," Yu Dong said to Shen Li who nodded and asked the mammies to keep an eye on his two sons, while he left the house with Yu Dong.
"My poor Cheng Cheng!"
"It seems like the person who is screaming is none other than Old Master Tong," Shen Li said to Yu Dong who humd in response. The two of them walked out of the Yu house and went down the path where the crowd was standing.
As they ca to a stop behind the crowd, the two of them saw Yu Cheng lying on the ground on a stretcher, while Old Master Tong and Old Madam Yu looked down at him with concerned expressions.
"How did it happen? How did his hands beco mangled like this?"Old Madam Yu questioned the guard who brought the carriage to their village which was carrying Yu Cheng.
The guard looked at Yu Cheng with a complicated expression. She pursed her lips before answering in a calm voice, "Master Yu protected the son of the academy's headmaster, which is why he was hard like this."
Even though it was hard to believe that soone like Yu Cheng actually protected soone. The truth was in front of them. Even if they wanted to ignore the truth. They couldn't.
After all, Yu Cheng lost his hands in the process of protecting Master Ji.
