Ding Nuannuan was not the only one who was eyeing Yu Dong, there was soone else who was eyeing Yu Dong. And his intentions were much more vicious than a six-year-old child.

Earlier in the morning, Yu Cheng went to look for his mother at the mill. Now that he was sixteen years old, he wanted to look for a wife. That's right, wife —- he wanted a woman to serve him and not a r. But most of the won liked to stay at ho and marry a r, it was really rare for a woman to marry a man but even if she did marry one, she would only marry a man as a son-in-law.

Yu Cheng naturally didn't want to beco a son-in-law for the family of his wife but that was until he found out that the Xie family was looking for a son-in-law.

Xie Qinyu was a good-looking woman but she was rather old as she was the one supporting her entire family. However, Yu Cheng did not disdain her old age because that woman was a rchant!

And she had a lot of connections in the town.

When Yu Cheng found out that Xie Qinyu was looking for a husband, he was moved. Because Xie Qinyu was looking for an educated person, Yu Cheng was confident that he would be able to win her.

But the thing was that he had to loosen his pockets first.

Yu Cheng knew very well that he needed to show his sincerity to Xie Qinyu before he could even think of marrying her. So he went looking for his mother.

"Money? You want money again?" Yu Linyun raised her head and looked at Yu Cheng with a frown on her face. "Did I not give you two hundred copper coins two weeks ago? How co you used it all?"

Yu Cheng rolled his eyes. He said to his mother without feeling a tad bit guilty, "Mother, what are you talking about? What can a sum of two hundred taels do? My friends all use more than two taels in a week, I am ashad to use even two hundred copper coins, I can only lower my head and use it properly."

What Yu Cheng did not realize was that he deliberately befriended won and n who ca from a rich background and ignored the ones who had the sa background as him.

Now that he had made his decision of course he had to face the consequences.

Yu Linyun felt like she hadn't just given birth to a son but also a money-eating ghost. She waved her hands and said, "There is no money."

She was not Qiu Bai who would dote on her son without any restraint. Even if she doted on Yu Cheng, Yu Linyun was much more selfish than her husband, she would naturally think of herself first before her son.

Now that the situation was like this. She had to rent a house and live there not to ntion, she had to even look for a slave trader and buy a r as her concubine.

Yu Linyun could no longer live without a husband, the more she stayed alone the more she realized that she needed a r to handle her household affairs.

Not to ntion, she was sick of raising other people. If she had a r and another child at least she would have an excuse to tighten the expense. Yu Linyun did not mind raising her father and that little brat, it was only adding a bit more oil and at but she certainly did not want to raise Lin Tianhui and her family.

It wasn't that their family had no money, they had enough money but instead of using it, they were saving it all.

How could Yu Linyun allow that?

She ca to the city and thought for a while, since she was going to rent a house, why not buy a r as well? He would take care of her als and everything else. She would also have a r to hug at night.

Yu Linyun wasn't old and didn't think it was ti for her to start living as a monk. If not for the fact that she was worried that Qiu Bai would kill her concubines, she would have brought a few rs with her.

When Yu Cheng heard his mother's refusal, he was furious but he still lowered his voice and said, "Mother, I am not asking for money for no reason. There is a good woman who is looking for a husband, and her family is really rich. If your son hooks up with that woman, then you and I can live a wonderful life."

"Woman? What woman? Who is she? Is she willing to live as a daughter-in-law?" Yu Linyun questioned at once, she only had one son and could not let him beco soone else's family mber.

She had raised him for sixteen years and the money that was wasted on this boy was not small either, so how could Yu Linyun be willing to let this boy marry into soone else's family?

Yu Cheng was also not a fool. He knew that if he told his mother that he was thinking of marrying soone else family, she would disown him at once, he still needed to rely on his mother for a while, how could he allow Yu Linyun to disown him?

He imdiately said, "Mother, why are you asking so many questions? Let first win the heart of the woman, once the matter is decided, you will naturally see the woman. If I tell you now and then the woman refuses , wouldn't you be disappointed?"

Yu Cheng was smart enough to understand that he needed to keep this matter hidden. Thus, he used a lot of flowery words causing Yu Linyun to frown.

She agreed with Yu Cheng but at the sa ti she had a feeling that her son was hiding sothing from her, she neither agreed nor disagreed. She said to Yu Cheng, "I haven't gotten my salary yet, you need to wait till the next month."
