Village head Gu was in such a hurry because she had heard from her cousin that the villagers of the big stone village were getting more and more anxious with the lack of food in their house, just yesterday, the villagers of her cousin's village saw the villagers from the Big stone village lurking around their village at night.
It was their good luck that they caught sight of the villagers of the Big Stone village and chased them away before those people could do anything to their rs and children.
But even then they lost a lamb and an old hen!
Village head Gu could not allow the sa thing to happen in her village as well, since the villagers from the Big Stone village failed to kidnap the rs and children from the Big Mountain village, she was afraid that they will co looking for their village tonight!
They have to hurry up and get moving!
Once Village head Gu left, Shen Li turned to look at Yu Dong who was solemnly thinking about sothing and then asked, " What are we going to do? Will that barricade really stop those evil people from the big stone village?"
" For the ti being yes," Yu Dong replied as she carefully thought over the situation and then turned to look at her husbands who were looking nervous but she did not dare to hide the severity of the situation from them.
Even though she will make sure that no one in their village will be hard by the ones in the Big Stone village, she still needed her husbands to be cautious as well.
" From what Village head Gu said, the villagers of the Big Stone village are only trying to steal for the ti being, they will not dare to hurt others when they see the barricade they will definitely leave upon seeing soone on guard but …" Yu Dong paused her brows knitting in a frown which made Shen Li and Ye Liu troubled.
They have never seen Yu Dong frown while dealing with the flood yet she was frowning like this when they found out about the villagers from the big stone village, looks like the wise people were right.
More than humans nothing was more dangerous in this world.
" But?" Ye Liu questioned prodding Yu Dong such that she will continue speaking.
" But that is only until they are not pushed to a corner," Yu Dong knew how much humans loved their lives, in the apocalypse world, there were tis when the strong ones would even eat the weak ones, though she had never joined into such disgusting acts, that did not an that she had never t with such cases.
There was one ti when the entire village was surrounded by zombies. The villagers were scared to leave their houses, back then the governnt could not take control of the situation and all the power was in the hand of the bases, because of the internal conflict and corruption, it took a long ti before Yu Dong and her team were asked to go and rescue the villagers who were in trouble.
Though it took them more than a week to rescue that village, Yu Dong was still surprised to see that the n of that village ate their wives and children!
It was just a week and instead of waiting for the rescue team to co and save them, they chose to kill their family! Back then one of the n said to them in frustration when they grilled him for answers,
'So what? It's the world of survival of the fittest. I did what I could do to survive!'
Back then Yu Dong wanted to kill that man and everyone else who killed their wives and kids but she did not want to dirty her hands.
She brought the ones who refrained themselves from eating their wife and kids and left the rest in the hands of zombies to die.
In fact, the ones who did not kill their family also did not have much feelings for their families either, it was just that they had enough food to withstand for a week and did not succumb to the temptation of eating human flesh like their neighbours.
If Yu Dong was another week late then she was sure that those people would have killed their wives and children as well!
" As long as they have sothing to eat those people will do nothing severe but the second the last bit of their food runs out then I am sure that they will co barging inside the village," Yu Dong both warned and explained the seriousness of the matter to Shen Li and Ye Liu.
" For the ti being its better if you all and the kids stay inside the house, I will ask Village head Gu to tell the sa to the other rs and children as well, if even one of us falls in the hands of the villagers of the Big stone village, I am afraid that we will be in a lot of trouble."
Unlike the village head of the Big stone village, Yu Dong sincerely cared about the villagers of her own village. If one of them was caught then she will certainly try to save the villagers and if that happens then she will be handing an opening to the big stone village that will never be closed!
