Yu Dong didn't know about this matter; she was heavily exhausted after making the arrangents. She not only asked for an army of well-trained shadow guards but also signed a docunt that stated that if she was to die, the cooperation between the Li and the Yu family would not end.
Of course, this docunt was written by Li Wan in great anger.
Inside the magistrate office, Li Wan was breathing heavily. With her fingers clenched, she glared at the door of her office. Behind her assistant said in a polite voice, "Magistrate Li, Madam Yu has left."
"I know!" Li Wan snapped. Did her assistant think that she was blind? She could see that Yu Dong left but what was she supposed to do with this anger? She asked Yu Dong to think again and again but that woman refused.
She was determined to head over to the war.
A war that they were losing!
Yu Dong sneezed as she rode her horse back to the village where she t with the Yan officers, who nodded at her in greeting.
Together they headed to the old Yu house.
"Damn! Don't tell
that the one who hard the village is Yu Lingyun?" One of the villagers exclaid in surprise.
"It had to be!" soone gasped.
At the sa ti, the entire village was filled with rage. How could—how could Yu Linyun do such a thing!?
They all rushed to the old Yu house.
Inside the Yu house, Yu Linyun was sleeping peacefully. With a fragrant r in her arms, she was asleep without a worry in her heart. But this peace was broken when soone broke open the door and rushed inside the room.
The sound was too loud, making Yu Linyun sit up straight in surprise. Even Master Yu sat up straight and looked at the won who barged inside the room.
Seeing the bold actions of these won, Yu Linyun was furious. She looked at them and shouted, "What is the aning of this? How can you barge in the bedroom of a married couple?"
"Fuck, Yu Linyun, you are really shaless. You betrayed the entire village and pushed us into the centre of the storm and you are sleeping here? No wonder you were in a hurry to escape yesterday. This was the reason!" soone in the crowd exclaid and Yu Linyun, who was sitting in the bed, stiffened.
Her body stiffened and she looked at the crowd with wide eyes. Escape—that's right, she was supposed to escape so why was she sleeping in the bed?

Of course, Yu Linyun didn't doubt her husband; she blad it on Yu Dong, thinking that the woman did sothing to her because she wanted to stop her from escaping.
"I didn't do anything!" Yu Linyun refused to admit that she was guilty of betraying the village.
"Pfft, you really know how to make us laugh. Do you really think that lying will work now? The Yan officers are already here."
As soon as the woman finished speaking, a few won stepped inside the bedroom. They looked at Yu Linyun and questioned, "Are you the one who leaked the secret related to this village? Don't you know that Madam Yu and Magistrate Li are in a cooperative relationship; how can you do such a thing?"
Yu Linyun was frightened out of her wits when she heard the words of the Yan officers. As she looked at the towering won, there was only one thought in her head—it was over.
She turned to look at the crowd and saw Yu Dong standing in the crowd along with Grandma Yu.
She imdiately climbed down from the bed before rushing in front of Yu Dong. With a plop, she kneeled down in front of Yu Dong and Grandma Yu before saying to them,
"Yu Dong, mother... please tell the yan officers that I didn't do it! I really had nothing to do with this matter," she pleaded. "I beg you."
She was not stupid and knew that the only ones who could help her at this mont was her mother and Yu Dong. Even if she was to plead with the officers, Yu Linyun knew that they would not listen to her; she could only bow her head in front of Yu Dong.
Yu Linyun never thought that one day she had to lower her head in front of Yu Dong. But now that she was in this situation, there was nothing that she could do.
Yu Dong, this wretched woman—she was out for her blood.
She banged her head on the floor harshly and said to Yu Dong, "Think about the child—I still have a child; how can the child grow up without his mother?"
Yu Dong curled her lips. "Did you think about this child of yours when you pitted the entire village in a firepit? What? You an to say that as long as your family is fine, we all can go to hell?"
Yu Linyun raised her head in terror. She shook her head and said to Yu Dong, "I didn't an that."
"Then what did you an by those words?" Yu Dong sneered. "You are really good; when you sched against us, you didn't think about the villagers or our family. Now you want
to think about you and your child?"
"Yu Dong, please; the child is innocent."
"Of course the child is innocent," Yu Dong curled her lips before she dropped the bomb. "But the child isn't yours."
