Chapter 1830: Shui Qing
Yu Dong frowned when she heard the words of the two rs. She thought for a while before saying, "Did you find anything amiss regarding that r?"
Jiang Fenhua and Zhou Yan exchanged a dark look with another before Zhou Yan said to Yu Dong, "That's the thing. That r is really smart. He did not co out of the house and with how Madam is acting, she didn't let us et with that r either. We have no idea what kind of goblin that r is."
He then said to Yu Dong, "Madam Yu, can you take a look at my wife? I do not understand what went wrong with her all of a sudden."
Yu Dong acquiesced. She also wanted to see what was going on with Qiao Sha. No matter what, she would never allow anyone to take advantage of her mall!
She said to the two rs, "Don't worry. I will take a look." And at the sa ti she called a mammy and hurriedly passed down the order:
A single VIP card was only allowed to purchase three catties of everything from the mall. Any more than that was not allowed! And anyone who bought three catties of groceries was not allowed to buy anything for the next three days.
Three catties of at and vegetables were enough for a family to survive.
In the Qiao family, only Qiao Sha had the VIP card; since that was the case, let's see how she would continue with this new buying and selling.
She didn't have anything against people selling their groceries in the Big River Town or the villages next to it. But if the capital was involved, then she would definitely make a move!

After Yu Dong said a few words, the mammies got to action at once. They went to the shed and then got on the horses before rushing to the mall, where they passed down the new orders.
As soon as the new rules were told to the mall's authority, they imdiately applied them.
It just so happened that the servants from the Qiao family ca to buy rice and other grains. Just like always, they opened their mouths to buy twenty catties of grains but were struck down by the new rule.
Only three catties allowed!
The servants were shocked and confused but they could only buy whatever was available and then returned ho.
"Ah, you are back." Shui Qing looked at the servants who returned. He tucked the strand of his hair behind his ear and delicately said, "Just like always, keep two catties at ho and then send the rest to my family in the capital."
"Master," the servant who went to buy the grains, raised his head and looked at the r who had bewitched their madam to the point where she was not even willing to keep her husbands and daughters. "We only got three catties of every grain; if we send all the grains to the capital, what will the masters eat?"
"What did you say?" Shui Qing was stunned. He thought he heard wrongly and questioned again, "How many grains did you buy?"
"We could only buy three catties of each grain. The mall has implented new rules because of the ongoing drought; we can only buy a few catties and hoarding is not allowed," replied the servant.
What hoarding!? Shui Qing was sure that this was a move against him and Qiao Sha.
Earlier this morning, the two rs ca to et with Qiao Sha and she sent them away. And as soon as they returned, this order was passed down. Wasn't it deliberately targeted at him?
Shui Qing was upset but no matter how upset he was, he couldn't make the woman behind the mall change her mind.
These days he had been trying to get the na of the woman who owned the mall so that he could send her na to his mother but Qiao Sha was really hard to break!
Even with all the skills that he had used on her, that woman refused to confess or tell the na of that woman. It was really too much!
"Fan Jin, how much longer?" Shui Qing returned to his room and questioned the spirit that had been following him. He was purposely sent to the Big River Village by her majesty the Empress, as she wanted to know the person behind the mall.
And at the sa ti he was supposed to send as much groceries and resources back to the capital; in return, his family would rise higher and higher.
The job was so easy that Shui Qing agreed at once. Who would have thought that Qiao Sha was so stubborn and loyal that, despite being under the charm, she did not tell him who was behind the scenes?
"A bit longer, as long as I have more life force to suck—I can make that woman's will falter," Fan Jing replied almost imdiately and Shui Qing snorted. "You said the sa thing three days ago and then the day before yesterday. But nothing happened!"
"It's not my fault," Fan Jing refused to take any bla. "That woman is very loyal and proud. This is why I asked you to target soone else but you liked her the best."
"Not to ntion, this afternoon when her husbands ca, you asked
to suppress her. Do you think that all of this doesn't require energy? It does. I have suppressed that woman and made it impossible for her to favour her husbands over you."
"You should be grateful to ."
Shui Qing rolled his eyes but he did not say anything. Instead, he peered at the bare minimum groceries and stomped his feet. "It's bad enough that I need to deal with that woman; now this happened! I have to think of a way to get my hands on more resources or else my mother will be furious with !"
