Chapter 1822: Poisonous gaze (2)
"Who is he showing such a face to?" One of the rs could not help but snort. "He acts like soone owes him a million taels or sothing."
"Why are you even asking this question?" Another r responded with a roll of his eyes. "Who does not know that Gu Mo tried his best to make Miss Yu marry him? When he failed, he even tried to make use of his daughter."
"Now that his daughter is gone and Madam Yu is getting better and better, of course he will feel annoyed and upset."
"Right," A r with a plump body nodded. He then looked around the river bank as if he were afraid that soone would hear what he was going to say next, before saying to the rest of the rs, "I also heard from my wife that the rumour about Brother Liu's child not being Madam Yu was also spread by this r."
"Are you sure?" Soone gasped in shock as if they could not believe that Gu Mo could do such a thing.
"Or else? I believe he thought that as long as he could kick Ye Liu out of the Yu house, he will be able to get close to Madam Yu."
"Haha, he really knows how to dream. Even if the child was not Madam Yu, I don't think that Madam Yu would have let him—who cheated on his wife for more than ten years—marry her."
Gu Mo, who heard everything, gritted his teeth; he wished he could rip the mouths of those rs.
How dare they say such things?
Did they think that he did not know that they also desired Yu Dong? The only difference was that he acted on his impulse and they did not; if anything, it could be said that he was more courageous.
How dare these dog rs say such things to him?
As he marched down the path, he ran into Ye Liu and Chen Mi.
The second he ran into them, Gu Mo blinked his eyes and glared at the two rs. How dare they co in front of him and show off!
When Chen Mi and Ye Liu saw that he was glaring at the two of them, they were speechless. Was there sothing wrong with Gu Mo? Why was he looking at them like this?
Chen Mi wanted to say a few words to this r but when he looked around and saw that the entire area was quiet and no one was there, he glared at Gu Mo and turned on his feet before dragging Ye Liu away with him.
"Lets go, brother Liu. In case a wild dog bites us, I am afraid that it will be us who will be in danger," Chen Mi scolded the r without holding back; after all, who asked Gu Mo to spread rumours about Ye Liu as he liked and wanted?
Ye Liu also nodded and walked away. He was also worried that this r would suddenly go crazy and hurt his child.
Though Gu Mo would not leave unscathed if he did such a thing, Ye Liu did not want to put his child in danger.
If sothing happened, then he would be the one in trouble!
Gu Mo watched the two leave and stomped his feet. He really could not understand what Yu Dong liked in those rs, they looked like n and were tall and strong.
They did not look like rs at all.
And yet, Yu Dong favoured them.
Why was it that he lost his daughter and was now being treated like a joke all over the village? But Ye Liu got pregnant and was living a happy life?
The heavens were simply unfair!
"Is he still glaring?" Chen Mi asked.
"Yes," Ye Liu replied speechlessly. Was the back of his head that good that Gu Mo was looking at them with such a burning gaze?
"Argh, whats wrong with that r? He seed to have lost his mind," Chen Mi snorted. He then turned to look at Ye Liu and said to him, "Stay away from him and don't try to get close to that r. I think there is sothing wrong with him; if he dares to do sothing, then it will be too late!"
"I know; don't worry. I will not seek trouble," Ye Liu also knew that his body was much more vulnerable at the mont, so of course he would not do anything stupid, such as getting into a fight!
The two rs returned ho and told what happened to Yu Dong.
Just like Chen Mi, Yu Dong frowned and caressed Ye Liu's belly before saying, "Stay away from the Duan family. I heard from soone that Second Sister Duan is going crazy these days. She wants to marry another r but the family has no money and she is bullying Gu Mo worse than before."
"If that r decided to break the jar, then I am afraid that you will be in danger."
Yu Dong did not believe that Gu Mo would do or take such a drastic step. After all, that r was too wise to do such a thing.
He would never put his neck on the line but one could never be more careful!
"I know, don't worry." Ye Liu pecked Yu Dong on the lips before saying to her, "I will not go looking for trouble until I give birth; how can I when this child was conceived after so much difficulty?"
Yu Dong rubbed his head and took him to bed.
The night passed with pleasure surging within the room and when Yu Dong woke up the next day, she found the bed empty.
Frowning slightly, she turned to look around the room and when she did not find Ye Liu, she put on her clothes and walked out of the room.
Ye Liu was practicing in the courtyard and looked up when he saw her arrive.
"You woke up?" Ye Liu asked with a smile as he put down the wooden sword on the stand. Before walking over to where Yu Dong was standing.
