Chapter 1667: Darkness and Ties
"I don't know," Yu Mai nervously replied. He really had no idea where he was brought all of a sudden, one second he was inside the shop and then bam! He woke up in this dirty place.
Kong Li frowned when she heard Yu Mai's answer. She opened her mouth to speak but then there were sounds of footsteps coming towards the shack.
She said to Yu Mai, "Lay down on the floor. Hurry." They didn't know what these people wanted from them if these people saw that they were awake, who knows they might knock them out cold once again.
If they wanted to get out of this place, then they needed to stay awake. Her sister was still unconscious along with Li Cui, they couldn't make a mistake.
Yu Mai opened his mouth to speak but then he thought about sothing and fell back on the ground.
The door of the shack opened and the kidnappers walked inside.
A skinny woman with quivering jaws looked at the four children who were tied and thrown on the floor. She turned to look at Sister Qiao and asked, "Sister Qiao, do you think that Madam Kong would really be obedient and shut down the inn? What if she cos looking for us?"
"She will do it," replied Sister Qiao as she looked at the four children lying on the floor. "Madam Kong cares for her daughters just as much as her husband disdains them. And even if she were to look for soone, she would go looking for her sisters-in-law."
"Those idiots. Didn't they join hands with us because they wanted to get their hands on the sauce recipe? Even if they wanted to get away and escape, I don't think that they could."
"After all, they are also involved in this matter."
A bald woman with a long scar on her head, who was following Sister Qiao sneered from behind, "And if she doesn't listen we will just cut off the limbs of these brats and send her one every day. We will start with the fingers first."
Kong Li's expression changed and her face turned dark. Her aunties! They were behind this once again. Those two won, what would they take to leave them alone? Sister Qiao turned to look at the two rs before saying to her underlings, "Why did you bring these two rs?"
"These rs are so beautiful sister Qiao," the bald woman licked her lips and said, "We can either raise them or sell them. Personally, I think we should raise them—such fine rs are hard to co by. They will grow up as beauties."
Sister Qiao raised her hand and smacked the bald woman on her head before saying, "Don't go around making trouble. For now, focus on dealing with Madam Kong."
"There is no need to send anything for a while. I will send another letter to that woman, after three or four days. She has just lost her child so she will not take this matter seriously. But once a few days pass by and nothing happens, that woman would be desperate to take on any gamble."

As soon as Sister Qiao finished speaking she turned on her feet and walked out of the shack. "Keep these brats under control, don't let them cause any trouble. If they cause any ruckus just break their arms or legs until they learn their lesson."

Kong Li's face was very ugly at that mont. These won were even more dangerous than the human traffickers. They would hurt them at the smallest mistake!

Kong Li turned to look at Yu Mai and said, "Mai, can you do the sa thing? The thing that you did the last ti?" She hoped that Yu Mai could save them again.
"I can't. Mai's hands are tied," Yu Mai told Kong Li as he tried to pull his hands out of the ropes that were tied around his wrists. He could feel the bracelet pressing on his wrist but he couldn't push the buttons!

On the other hand, Yu Dong was sitting in the Yan. She looked at the head of the yan and said to him, "Lord Ren, I hope that you will look for these two won. I am sure that they know sothing."
Lord Ren nodded as he wrote down everything that Yu Dong had told him. His expression was not good as he rubbed his forehead and said, "I will send a few of my officers to look for the children. I am sure soone will find sothing as for the two Xiao Sisters, I have already asked soone to bring them here."
As he spoke, the officers who went to look for the two Xiao Sisters returned and walked over to his table. They looked sullen and angry.
"Whats the matter?" Lord Ren asked.
"The two won are missing," replied the officer on the right. "We went to their ho but they were not there and their daddy — he made a lot of fuss." As she spoke she peeled off an egg peel from her shoulder.
