"You an to say that your sister is not angry with you even though you asked her to buy hairpins for you?" Li Hu Zi asked in a voice which was filled with admiration.

His mother had never bought anything for him and in case he asked for sothing, she would scold him furiously instead of buying anything for him.

After learning his lesson Li Hu Zi and his brothers stopped asking for anything. At least as long as they stayed quiet they did not have to worry about being scolded or being called money-losing goods.

And yet Yu Mai despite being a r could easily ask for anything from his sister without worrying about anything. He was really too courageous!

"Why will she be angry? My sister brings

a hairpin every ti she goes to the town," stated Yu Mai as he placed the wooden horse on the floor and then started playing with it. "She knows that I like hairpins a lot so she buys them for . And I only asked for two, my third brother-in-law asked for five one ti."

It was when Yu Dong forgot to buy Chen Mi's favourite dessert and he got angry. In the end, Yu Dong promised to bring Chen Mi five hairpins. Compared to his third brother-in-law, Yu Mai felt that he was really restrained.

"Five...Five? Your brother-in-law asked for five hairpins?" Li Cui asked with a stunned look on his face.

When was the last ti his mother brought anything for his daddy? Was it five —no six years ago? That's right, his mother brought a catty of apples for his daddy and that too when Auntie Hai brought three catties of at for their family.

As for hairpins and clothes, after being married for more than fifteen years, his daddy got new clothes for the first ti yesterday.

"That's right, five," Yu Mai nodded and smiled. "My sister likes my brothers-in-law and she brings them gifts all the ti. Isn't that how it is for everyone? My mother used to bring my daddy gifts as well."

The Li brothers turned and looked at each but neither of them had the heart to tell Yu Mai that it was not the case for everyone.

Three hours later, Yu Le brought the children with him to the market. Yu Jiao Yu, Guo Zian and Master Xiao also followed him. Of course, no one was happy with Master Xiao following them but they had no choice when he said that he wanted to co with his daughters.

No matter what kind of person Master Xiao was, he was Kong Pili and Kong Li's father. They could not refuse him even if they wanted to after all there was nothing wrong with Master Xiao following his daughters.

Of course, since this matter had nothing to do with Yu Le and Yu Jiao Yu neither of them said anything to stop Master Xiao. Of course, even if they did say sothing the r would not have listened.

His skin could be thick at tis like these.

While Yu Le and Yu Jiao Yu were not happy with Master Xiao accompanying them, Master Xiao was also not happy with the idea of following them either.

But he was worried that these rs would coax his daughters into buying hairpins for them. With how taken his two daughters were with the Yu family and Guo Zian, they would help them count money after they were sold off.

Thus, Master Xiao had no choice but to follow his daughters, if he was with them, these rs would not dare to do anything like that.

More importantly, Madam Kong had embarrassed his sister yesterday. He wanted to coax his daughters into buying hairpins for their aunties, that way he would be able to soothe the anger of his second sister.

Last night his elder sister ca to see him instead of his second sister which ant that his second sister was still angry with him.

Of course, she was angry with him, the things that his wife said to his second sister were really too much. So it was only right for his daughters to make up for the mistake that their mother made.

These shaless words of course he wouldn't dare to say them in front of his wife. Because he knew sowhere in his mind that he was wrong in expecting such a thing.

Their group soon arrived at a small shop which wasn't far from the inn.

"Good afternoon, what can I do for you?" The shopkeeper asked with a polite smile on her face.

"I would like to see a few hairpins," said Yu Le while studying the hairpins that were put on display on the counter. "Sothing that will suit these kids." He pointed at the six rs who were peering around the shop curiously.

"Show us so too," Kong Pili said as she glanced at Li Cui, her eyes flickering. "I would like to see a light hairpin which is sturdy and comfortable to tie hair that's smooth and silky."

Li Cui's hair was rather smooth if the hairpin was not sturdy it would fall off.

"Why do you need to buy a hairpin?" Master Xiao asked with dissatisfaction written on his face. "You might as well keep that money safe." He had a feeling that his daughter seed to be getting close to that r from the Yu family and he was not liking this at all.

He had already planned to get his daughter married to one of his nephews. There was no way he would let a fox ruin his daughter.

Kong Pili turned to look at him and said coldly, "If I save this money will it stay where I keep it?" Her question choked Master Xiao who glared at her angrily.

He wanted to snap at his daughter but paused when he saw Guo Zian glaring at him.

This —! This bastard how dare he glare at him?
