The wounded won scread and howled like they were on the edge of dying.
"Leader Gao, what should we do now?" One of the won who was not guarding the shack looked at the broken planks. The children inside were missing and only their people were hard by the thunder strike.
"It must be heaven's punishnt!" Another woman chid from the side with a trembling voice. She looked at the broken pieces of the wooden shack and the injuries of the won who were guarding the shack.
Her lips trembled as she took a step back and cried, "This must be heaven's punishnt for doing too many bad things."
As soon as those words were spoken the rest of the won also stepped away from the ones who were lying on the ground. It was as if the won who were struck by lightning were carrying so really dangerous disease that might affect them as well.
Leader Gao frowned at the woman who had spoken and raised her hand before smacking her right across her head. She sneered and said, "Have you lost your dumb mind? What do you an by cris? What do you an by the punishnt of heavens?"
"There is no such thing! Don't waste your ti!"

"No buts!" Leader Gao grew up doing all kinds of cris and she had not once been punished for her actions, if anything the more cris she committed the more comfortable her life beca.
What did this silly woman an by saying that they were being punished by the heavens? Speaking nonsense with open eyes.
When the woman heard Leader Gao's words, she pursed her lips and turned silent. She did not say anything more but at the sa ti she eyed the won who were struck by lightning, no matter what Leader Gao said, she was certain that there was sothing really wrong about this situation.

"You all too! Stop wasting your ti and go look for the children!" Leader Gao ordered the rest of the won. "They are the key to our better lives, if you don't find them, then there is no need to co back! I am not using useless people like you who still believe in foolish things such as punishnt of the heavens."
"This was just a freak accident and nothing else! Don't believe in foolish things! I have stabbed, killed and sold more than a thousand people in my life— why was I not punished back then? Because there is no such thing as punishnt of heavens!"
"Go and bring
back the children! If we don't find them then we are all dying in this village, do you get it!?"
After speaking Leader Gao walked past the rest of the won and marched down the forest, she was not going to let her golden geese fly away.
Among those children were rs whom she was going to sell for more than a hundred gold of taels! She could not lose them!
What heavens? Nothing was more scary than losing her gold coins!
Without gold, she was going to starve!

The won looked at one another before gritting their teeth and hurrying after their leader. What could they do? They did not want to starve to death!

No sooner did she finish speaking there was the sound of footsteps. The two sisters turned around and looked behind them, it was Leader Gao and her minions!

"RUN!!" Kong Pili shouted at the rest of the children who were startled and then started running around, but even though they were running they dared not get away from Yu Mai.
Yu Mai turned around and looked at the won who were chasing after him. He thought about it a little and then said decisively, "You better stop or else you will be punished!"
"Hah! Look at you, you little punk! You dare to actually threaten ! I, Leader Gao, had never been threatened before!" Leader Gao sneered as she ran towards Yu Mai. She swore to sell this r for a good deal, for all the troubles he had given her.
Yu Mai saw that the woman was not listening to him. He sighed and then pressed the button of the new modified bracelet.
"I did tell you to stop, so I am not a bad r, alright?" Yu Mai said to the won who were rushing over to where he was standing.
A sense of foreboding rose in the heart of the won but it was already too late for them to stop themselves.
So, when they arrived close to Yu Mai, they saw a string of lightning attacking them—

The won scread in terror on the spot.
