Yu Dong didn’t know why the r suddenly brought up the matter of marriage. She pulled him in front such that she could look him in the eye and asked him, "Did sothing happen?"
"It’s nothing," Xiao Hua answered, his eyes flickering. However, just as he finished speaking, Xiao Zimo rushed into the house. His stride was firm and when he heard the words of Xiao Hua, he imdiately snorted, "I knew you wouldn’t tell the truth!"
He then turned to look at Yu Dong, but before he could say anything, Xiao Hua pulled him back.
"Don’t say any nonsense," Xiao Hua hissed as he tugged at Xiao Zimo’s sleeves.
"Nonsense? I am not saying any nonsense!" Xiao Zimo exclaid. He was about to say sothing but then the doors of the bathing room opened and Shen Li walked out along with Ye Liu.
The two were holding the two children in their arms while looking at Xiao Hua and Xiao Zimo who were tussling at the entrance of the house.
"What are you doing, Hua Hua, Little Zimo?" Shen Li questioned with a frown as he looked at Xiao Hua who was inexplicably excited. "Co inside and stop making a fuss at the entrance of the house, what if soone sees you two?"
Only then did the two of them stop pulling and pushing one another. Shen Li shook his head as he said, "I asked Shiqi to cook braised lamb chops this morning, co and sit down. Let’s eat sothing and then we will discuss why you two are here in the village when you should be working."
As he spoke he flashed a smile to the two rs who shivered in fright. Even though Shen Li was usually gentle, he knew how to reign in the rs of the Yu house.
Including the ones who were related to the rs.
"Yes!" Xiao Hua and Xiao Zimo did not dare to make a fuss with Shen Li looking over in their direction like that. They imdiately settled down and followed Shen Li and the rest to the dining table where a sumptuous breakfast of porridge, at buns and lamb chops was waiting for them.
The Yu family settled down along with Xiao Zimo who looked at the two rs who were the latest addition to the Yu family and questioned, "Brother Li when did the two rs of your family beco this big?"
Chen Mi rolled his eyes at the poor joke and kicked the r before saying, "Haha, very funny. These two rs were rescued from the Black Pot Village."
As he spoke he turned to look at the two rs and couldn’t help but silently awe at the soft and delicate features of the two rs.
They looked so beautiful that Chen Mi was not surprised that the won of the Black Pot Village kidnapped these rs and brought them to the Black Pot Village.
Liao De and Feng Liang were good-looking, to begin with, but now that they have cleaned up they resembled two porcelain dolls. Really beautiful.
He couldn’t help but remark, "Brother Li, wife, why don’t you betroth them to Little Feng and Dou Dou? Don’t you think that these two rs will match our little babies too well?"
Yu Dong who had just taken a sip of her porridge choked and started coughing while Shen Li looked at Chen Mi exasperatedly.
He patted Yu Dong on the back as Shen Li was sitting next to Yu Dong. Being the official husband, his seat was designated to be next to Yu Dong.
He said to Chen Mi, "Don’t make such a joke."
"I am not joking, if we do not find the families of these two rs then let them marry Dou Dou and Little Feng when they grow up," Chen Mi clasped his hands as if he had made so really good suggestions.
"Marry? What does "marry" an?" Feng Liang asked as he looked at Chen Mi.
"Marrying soone ans that you can live with them for a lifeti," Chen Mi explained to the little r who blinked his eyes and then turned to look at Little Feng. He thought for a while before exclaiming, "I want to marry Little Feng!"
"Cough!" Yu Dong, who had taken a sip of water to ease the ache in her throat, spat out the water and coughed again. She couldn’t believe that her three-month-old sons were getting marriage proposals.
"Mi!" Shen Li reproachfully glared at the r, if this went on, Yu Dong would end up coughing to death, Chen Mi poked his tongue out mischievously.
For the sake of avoiding a scolding, he turned to look at Xiao Hua who was unusually silent and questioned, "Now, why did you bring up the matter of marrying suddenly?"
Xiao Hua who had just taken a bite of the porridge coughed. He turned to glare at Chen Mi and questioned angrily, "Are you trying to kill people today?"
Chen Mi faked a mock affronted look and exclaid, "What do you an by that? I was just worried since Xiao Zimo was so flustered just now."
"Why are you blaming ?" Chen Mi pouted as he helped his son eat so soupy porridge.
Yu Dong also raised her head and looked at Xiao Hua. She asked, "What’s going on? Why did you bring up the matter of marriage so suddenly?" She rembered that Xiao Hua wanted to get married in the winter. His sudden change of decision really surprised her.
Xiao Hua too felt regretful that he had to marry in the sumrs. He wanted a winter wedding as he could entangled in bed with Yu Dong every now and then but in sumr doing that was really hard!
However, with what was going on ——
"Brother Hua was proposed to by a woman in the town," before Xiao Hua could say anything, Xiao Zimo broke the news to Yu Dong.
Crack. The sound of sothing breaking echoed in the dining room.
