Rong Yi was speechless. She did not know that her stepfather had the talent of biting people willy-nilly like a mad dog. Her brows furrowed as she said, "What nonsense are you saying? How can I kill two healthy won with my limp leg? Do you think that I can even win against them when I cannot even walk without my cane?"

As she spoke she smashed the end of the cane that she was holding in her hands onto the ground.

Even if he wanted to bla soone, Old Master Rong, should at least take a look at the condition of a person before speaking nonsense.

"She is right, Old Master Rong. How could sister Yi kill Rong Xi and Mu Yuxi? She cannot even take three steps without her cane," Little Shiqi who ca to look for his wife when he heard sothing happened, imdiately spoke up.

"With Rong Yi’s condition, these two won only needed to pull her cane away and kick her down. Do you think that they would let a cripple kill them?" One of the villagers rolled her eyes and started with a snort.

Old Master Rong however was not reconciled. He was certain that Rong Yi did sothing, she must have done sothing! Explore stories on .C??m

He wanted to say sothing more but Village Head Gu had long lost her patience with him. She snapped harshly the second she saw that the r was going to speak again, "Enough! Old Master Rong it is not anyone’s fault that your daughter went to the mountain despite knowing that the wild beasts were all coming down the mountains because of the drought."

"Stop blaming others for the foolishness of your daughter. She was the one who made foolish mistakes!"

Old Master Rong’s face turned pale when he heard the reprimand of the Village head. Why were they treating him like this? Why do they not sympathize with him!?

Yu Dong and her husbands looked at the heartbroken Old Master Rong. He really looked pitiful but they did not have an ounce of pity for this r.

The villagers were correct if he had taught Rong Xi better instead of allowing her to steal, bully and tease others then she would not have made the foolish decision to attack Yu Dong’s husbands.

If she had not attacked them, then she would be alive today.

"Let’s go," Yu Dong did not want her husbands to look at such a disgusting sight for long.

She turned on her feet and then walked away. This matter had nothing to do with her anymore.

The rs also did not wish to watch this excitent any further either. They followed Yu Dong back ho as they knew that the village head would be able to deal with this matter without Yu Dong intercepting.

Village Head Gu was a smart woman and she must have understood sothing by now. So she too would not make the foolish mistake of letting Yu Dong handle this matter.

The mbers of the Yu family returned ho, when they ca back Fang Chi was done cleaning the house as he knew that Yu Dong’s sense of sll was better than others.

Feng Liang and Liao De were sitting on the couch while the other children looked at them with a curious looks on their faces.

While the two rs sat in the corner. Feng Liang had cald down as no won in the house approached him while he was sitting next to Liao De.

"Wife, you are here!" Fang Chi smiled at Yu Dong flatteringly when he saw that she had returned ho.

Yu Dong nodded as she turned her attention to the two kids who were not in the house yesterday morning. She furrowed her brows and questioned, "Who are they?"

"These kids were rescued by Sister Wu from the Black Pot Village. She brought them to

and asked

to take care of them while she searched for their family," Shen Li answered as he glanced at the two children who sat next to the stroller.

Yu Dong looked at the two r children and sighed. "Are they alright?" Obviously, she noticed the little r on the corner turn stiff when she walked in while the other one was eyeing her carefully.

Fang Chi glanced at the two rs, he had spent quite so ti calming them down. Feng Liang was still frightened but with Fang Chi’s gentleness, he was no longer trembling in fright like before.

He even dropped his guard a little bit.

"They are fine just a little scared," Fang Chi answered as he relayed everything that happened to the two rs in the dark cellar.

Yu Dong’s eyes darkened when she thought about how the villagers of the Black Pot Village were actually eating human flesh. Now she couldn’t help but think that they died too easily. They should have been tornted just like how those rs and children were tortured.

She glanced at the two rs whose hair was matted with dirt and gri, even their faces were covered with dark soot. Their hair was in knots and only the eyes that looked at Yu Dong with a light twinkle in their eyes could be seen.

"Take them to get a bath," said Yu Dong as she looked at the condition of the two rs. They were looking like beggars who had not washed for more than a year. It was unhygienic no matter how she looked at it.

However, if that was all she wouldn’t have said anything but she could see that the two rs were sticking close to her youngest sons. This was sothing that Yu Dong could not allow even if she felt sympathetic towards the two rs.

Fang Chi turned to look at the two rs who stiffened even more and he cleared his throat before saying, "Wife I did ask them to take a bath but——-"

"NO!" Feng Liang scread with fright. His lively eyes looked around the room with fear as he clutched his clothes. He looked extrely reluctant about taking a bath.
