However, when Qiao Nan decided that he was no longer going to cling to his old affections and feelings and would live for himself—— Madam Mo ca looking for him.
Now, she not only ca to look for him every day. The most obvious change was that Madam Mo would return ho and head straight to his courtyard where she would have dinner with him. Even if she was to stay back at the departnt where she worked or went drinking with her friends and colleagues, she would send her page girl and relay it to Qiao Nan.
rs were sentintal, to begin with. For the sake of avoiding any more trouble and quarrels, Qiao Nan did not push Madam Mo away. What was more, with her support, his life in the Mo house had slowly improved and he no longer needed to fear the sches of the r concubines. He could calmly spend his days without being bothered by soone.
However, that did not an that he had forgiven Madam Mo.
Even though the physician told him that his body was now healthy enough to get pregnant again, he did not let Madam Mo touch him. Even when she tried to make a move on him many tis, why would he? Madam Mo abandoned him once, just because he beca barren.
It was all because of Yu Dong that he was able to get what he had lost and it had nothing to do with Madam Mo. It wasn’t as if she had looked for thousands of doctors to heal him right?
Even if she did not do that and only stayed by his side, Qiao Nan would have forgiven her but she did not. Which was why, the gulf in his heart could never be filled so easily. A few dinners and sweet words? That did not even co close to the things that he had suffered when his wife turned her back on him.
As for whether he would ever be able to forgive Madam Mo and close that gulf? Qiao Nan had no idea.
Of course, Madam Mo was aware of this as well. She turned to look at Qiao Nan and sighed in her heart. She had tried so hard to get along with her husband but the latter did not even look at her.
However, she was not discouraged. At least, her husband was no longer throwing her out of his courtyard and also stopped ntioning their divorce. Thats right. Divorce!
Qiao Nan after he got better, started clamouring about getting a divorce. More importantly, her in-laws agreed with him! They actually asked her to let Qiao Nan go, telling her that it was better to let go rather than to hold on to a broken relationship like that.
How could Madam Mo be willing? She firmly believed that her sincerity would move her husband’s heart and that he would eventually forgive him. And soon they would have a child of their own, the one thing that drove them away would be the one to bring them back again.
Of course, it would take a very long ti for it to happen.

Seeing that her husband was talking rather leisurely with Yu Dong and seed to be getting along with her, Madam Mo could see that Yu Dong was soone whom Qiao Nan respected a lot. She blinked her eyes and turned to look at Yu Dong before saying, "Madam Yu, have you thought of selling the milk and rose jam?"
These two things were what Yu Dong had prepared to offer with the strawberries. Her strawberries were sweet enough but sotis people would get bored after eating the sa thing over and over again. To freshen up their taste buds, Yu Dong decided to add two jams which were preferred to be eaten by the people in her world.
Or it was much better to say that those who did not live in an apocalyptic world.
"Madam Mo," Yu Dong greeted the woman with a smile on her face. Though Qiao Nan and her relationship was not good at all, Yu Dong still treated Madam Mo with respect. This was because Madam Mo was soone who knew her limits and she had never done anything wrong to Yu Dong even though her husband was close to Yu Dong. "I haven’t found a seller yet.
I did have so ideas to sell these jams but they contrast with my strawberry and other fruit jams."
Though Yu Dong could have sold these jams in the mall, Sugar was expensive and she could not sell these jams for cheap. Because of this even though the jams were rather popular, they did not sell as well as the other products in the mall.
Of course, Yu Dong knew that this was normal in business but she did not want to add another set of flavors when the previous ones were yet to hit off.
"You an to say that you are not going to sell these jams in the mall?" Madam Mo was quite surprised. She had expected that Yu Dong would sell these things in the mall but it seed like Yu Dong had no plans to sell them there.
Yu Dong shook her head. "No, I don’t."
Madam Mo was quite surprised but a mont later she said to Yu Dong, "If that is the case would you be willing to enter into a cooperative relationship with my sister? She is a rchant, I believe the two of you might be able to find a common ground."
As she finished speaking, Qiao Nan turned to look at him. Of course, he knew which sister his wife was talking about with Yu Dong but he did not stop her. Even though he had a subtle frown on his face.
