Ying Nan's words caused the air to stir around the crowd. Everyone turned to look at Old Master Ying who was in his fifties, if he was in his fifties then what about his sister? Wouldn't she be in her seventies or eighties? He wanted to give this young r who was not even thirty to that woman?

Sure enough, he was a cruel stepfather!

The gazes of the people in the crowd changed and Old Master Ying's expression changed as well. His complexion went pale as he looked at Ying Nan who had told the truth to everyone, he couldn't understand when and where Ying Nan heard him.

He had always been very careful to hide his thoughts from Ying Nan and Old Madam Ying. Even his wife did not find out, so how did this r find out the truth?

"Nan Nan, what are you talking about? How can I do sothing like that?" Old Master Ying cursed Ying Nan in his heart but outwardly he looked at Ying Nan with a loving gaze and said to him, "You must have misunderstood sothing. There is no way, I would send you to my sister. Your mother wouldn't agree either."

Ying Nan did not get up from the kneeling position, instead, he turned his head to the side. He then relayed everything that happened on the night when Old Master Ying's sister ca to visit him.

"Aunt Lan ca to our house a day before the New Year's Eve. She ca with two sacks of rice that you took and when she asked when you were going to hand

over to her, you said that you needed to wait until Sister Taunzi was married. Only then you can hand

over to her."

On that night, Ying Nan couldn't sleep as he did not eat much and had hunger aches. So instead of twisting and tossing on the bed, Ying Nan went out to take a walk. It was then when he saw Old Master Ying and his sister, that he also heard Old Master Ying promise his sister that he would not let him marry anyone and when he beca an old r whom no one wanted, he would send him to her.

In that case, even Old Madam Ying would not be able to say anything. He told his sister that they needed him to stay in the Ying family for a few more years such that he could collect a generous dowry for Ying Baobei.

The two of them were the sons of the sa family and yet one of them was going to have a generous dowry while he was being sent to an old woman as a bed servant. The difference in treatnt was easy to detect, even if Ying Nan was to turn a blind eye to everything.

This was also the reason why he ran away from that house because he realized that Old Master Ying was serious about sending him to his sister!

'He heard everything!' Old Master Ying was stunned. He did not expect that Ying Nan would be there when he was telling his sister to wait a bit more, his expression worsened.

On the other hand, Old Madam Ying rembered that her sister in law did co to their house. Her husband had rather proudly stated that his sister brought two sacks of rice for their family, back then Old Madam Ying also thought that she did not make a mistake by marrying this r.

His family was generous and they would help their family in tis of need. Who would have thought that this was the reason?

Her husband promised his sister that he would hand over her son to her, this was why that woman brought rice, fruits and vegetables to their family. This was what was going on!

And here she thought that it was because her husband's family treated her husband really well which was why they always kept sending sothing to their house now and then!

Now that she knew the truth, Old Madam Ying felt sick. She glared at her husband and questioned him, "Is this the truth!? Is this why your sister kept bringing things to our house? She was eyeing my son!?" Her voice raised in the end causing Old Master Ying to shiver in fright.

Even though it was the truth, he imdiately shook his head and said to his wife, "Of course not, how could I do sothing like that?"

"We can always make it certain after calling his sister," Yu Dong offered causing Old Master Ying to turn and glare at her. He snapped, "You have no right to interfere in the matters of our family!" He really hated this woman who had given Ying Nan shelter.

If she hadn't this r would have obediently returned ho.

And even if he did not, he would have died in the forest, that way no one would know that he planned such a thing for this r!

She had caused him to lose his reputation!

Now his wife and even the village head knew that he had tried to make this r the bed servant of his sister.

Da Qiao did not need to even use her toes to know that this r had indeed planned to offer Ying Nan to his sister. His reaction said it all, instead she turned to look at Ying Nan and said, "Are you really willing to beco the slave of Madam Yu? Ah Nan, just rember once you have the tag of a slave no one would be able to wash that stain of your na."

Changing the na of a slave to the family na was not sothing to be proud of.

Ying Nan smiled wretchedly. He said to Da Qiao, "If I don't then I will be forced to beco the bed servant of an old woman. I don't think that it is a proud thing either, Village head Qiao."

No one in the crowd could refute his words, as they could see that Old Master Ying was simply unrepentant!
