"What did you say?" Yu Tong stood up from her chair and looked at the r in front of her. Her eyes shook heavily as she questioned the r, "What do you an that we are engaged?"

"What? My mother did what?" Yu Tong could not believe it. It was one thing for her mother to cause trouble for her every now and then but now her mother engaged her to a r without her prior knowledge! How could she do sothing like that?

All the things that Second Madam Yu said about Yu Tong being busy and not having enough ti were lies. Second Madam Yu might be foolish enough to believe that she could control Yu Tong but Murong Si was not an idiot who could not see through the little sche that Second Madam Yu ca up with. Second Madam Yu was working at the mill when she heard that soone was there to look for her. A part of her was annoyed but when she saw Yu Tong standing outside her office, she gave permission to the servant to let Yu Tong co inside.
"What are you doing here? I thought you now had a decent job for once," Second Madam Yu remarked just as Yu Tong walked over to her and banged her hands on the surface of the table.
"Did you think I would not co to see your mother? Do you think I am a joke? Why can you not take
seriously? Why did you have to fix my engagent with a r whom I don't even know and that too without my knowledge!" Yu Tong questioned her eyes bursting with flas as she glared at Second Madam Yu.
If not for the fact that glares could not kill, Second Madam Yu would have died many tis.
"I am taking you seriously this is the reason why I am marrying you off to a r with a decent family," Second Madam Yu raised her head and looked at her daughter. "Do you think that I am doing this because I like it? Have you ever thought of yourself, Yu Tong?
Chasing after that r who once sold his body and now has a bastard as his daughter, you want to put that r in the position of official husband? Do you wish to mock your future generations to death?"
