"Why are you looking so surprised?" Fan ilin raised his head and felt his lips twitch when his wife kept staring at the table with a look of sheer disbelief in her eyes.
"It’s nothing," said Luo Huian, but when the r kept looking at her, she sighed and stated, "I am just surprised that the humans—I an the people here are so flexible. What about those who were standing outside the restaurant all this ti? Isn’t it wrong to let us jump the line just because we have more money?"
"Is it wrong?" Fan ilin interlocked his fingers and placed his chin on the bridge. He said, "Though many would say that what we did was wrong, let tell you sothing—firstly, this is a VIP room. Not many will be able to afford it without paying an extra sum of money. That ans I didn’t snatch it from the commoners but the rich. Secondly, what’s wrong with using my money to get what I want? It’s not like I am stopping those people from buying a table. They want to save money—while I am willing to use my hard-earned money, is there anything wrong with what I did?"
Now that he said it like that, even Luo Huian couldn’t find any flaw with his explanation.
Fan ilin was pleased with the dumbfounded look of his wife. He smiled at Luo Huian before ordering a few things through the electronic pad that was placed on the table. "Huian, were you worried?" Fan ilin couldn’t help but ask. Earlier, he was too happy to see his wife coming to fetch him, just because she heard that he was going to get bullied and didn’t question her. But now that the two of them were alone and he had cald down from the thrill as well, Fan ilin just couldn’t help but ask this dumb question of Luo Huian.
He knew that she was worried. But he wanted to hear her say that she was worried.
Luo Huian had just taken a sip of the liquor that was served to her. Because of Fan ilin’s sudden question, she ended up choking on the drink that she had sipped on. Her face turned red and even more charming, making Fan ilin’s body burn with desire. He really wanted to climb onto the lap of the woman and kiss her. But he stopped himself because he knew that he couldn’t kiss his wife yet. Not before he got an answer.
Luo Huian raised her head and looked at the r who was staring at her with shiny eyes. It was clear that he was waiting for her to answer his question.

She didn’t know what to say at that very mont because the r’s gaze was rather fierce. It was as if she dared to say anything harsh or an, he would hurl the tongs that were sitting next to him, right on her head.
But was I worried?
Luo Huian didn’t want to lie, which was why she carefully pondered the question that Fan ilin had asked her, and the more she thought it over, the more she realised that she was indeed worried. When she heard Xu Qiao tell her that Madam Liao had called him and he might get bullied, she was indeed worried. She didn’t even think twice before turning around on her feet and leaving the entire restaurant under Uncle Tong while she rushed straight to the company where Fan ilin worked.
"I was worried." Luo Huian raised her head and looked at Fan ilin solemnly. She placed the small glass that she was holding between her fingers and said to the r, "I was really worried that you would be bullied." She paused and asked softly, "ilin, can’t you break the contract? I am afraid that if you stay with that company, things will get even harder for you. If you want to race, then how about I open a company for you?"
Luo Huian now had enough money to open a few companies; what was more, the mansion that she won from Cui Yuandan could soon be opened as a hotel. Luo Huian knew that with the pri location and the history that the mansion had, she would only make more profits. Since that was the case, she could easily take care of not only opening the company but also the heavy debt that Fan ilin would have to pay after breaking the contract.
When Fan ilin heard her suggestion, his eyes turned wide. He straightened up and felt flustered; he said to her, "Thats a lot of money and I—"
"I can pay for it," Luo Huian interrupted him in between, and when the r went to quibble with her, she raised her hand and said to him, "I know you want to pay the money back on your own, but if you stay there, I will be worried every day. ilin, I cannot rush to your aid all the ti. What if I am involved in hunting down Glooms, and that woman tries to do sothing to you? What will I do then? It’s quite clear that her family and she are not going to leave you alone."
Luo Huian knew that Liao Hong wanted Fan ilin, and the obsession that she had with Fan ilin was not small. Even if she wanted to change Liao Hong’s mind, it might not work because the woman was simply too stubborn. What was more, Liao Hong might not even know it herself, but she had a gloom within her. That woman had long turned into a vessel of a gloom, and even if Luo Huian wanted to make that woman see sense, it was going to be impossible.
So instead of targeting that woman, it was better to work on Fan ilin. As long as he left that rotten company, she would worry less about him.
When Luo Huian said it like that, Fan ilin couldn’t refuse her. What was more, he knew that if he insisted, then Luo Huian might misunderstand and think that he wanted to stay close to Liao Hong. He didn’t want to! He just wanted to pay the compensation back on his own, but unfortunately, the contract that he signed was way too unfair, and the company took more than seventy per cent of his inco, which was why he couldn’t pay the money back.
"Okay, okay. If you want, then I will break free from the company and then open one with you," Fan ilin agreed with a smile. "But you have to take the money back. After all, I can’t always be in your debt."
Fan ilin knew these things rather well. It was better to never mix money with love or relationships because it would cause trouble later on in the long run. This was why he didn’t want to take the money from the Luo family, because he didn’t want to be suppressed by Luo Huian any further. It was bad enough that the woman often complained to him and said that he was a used show that was bought for a price way too high. If he asked his mother-in-law to pay back compensation that he had to pay if he broke the contract, who knows how his wife would insult him? Thus, he never dared to ask for even a single penny.
But now Luo Huian was worried about him. She wanted to take care of him as his wife.
Since that was the case, why would he refuse? He would be a fool to refuse. With Luo Huian taking care of this matter, he would be able to get free of Liao Hong very soon.
Luo Huian heaved a sigh of relief when she heard the r agree.
With the matter sorted out, their little date went really well.

Luo Huian turned her attention to the r who ca to look for her when Fan ilin was paying the bill. She wanted to pay it, but the r refused, saying that this was his treat for making her worry. Thus, she had been waiting for him outside the restaurant. Luo Huian turned to look at the r who ca to see her and frowned.

"I am Suisui? Have you forgotten ? Ling Suisui," said the r with a sweet smile on his lips. "We used to study together in college."
Luo Huian had no recollection of the r and could only turn to look at Xiao Bai, who nodded in response. It seed like this r was indeed her classmate. But what was he even doing here? She turned her attention back to the r who was still smiling and said to her, "Ah, it seems like you don’t rember . But it’s quite a surprise... You used to pursue . Of course, it was because you wanted to get close to Cheng Mingyu."
