Fan ilin opened his mouth to say that he wanted to stop Cao Xueping from relaying the truth to his wife but just as those words touched his lips, he couldn’t bring himself to say them. Because he knew that Bai Shiliu was right, he could stop Cao Xueping today, but he could not stop him all the ti.
That r hated him to the point that he wished he could bury Fan ilin alive six feet deep down under the ground. In the past, Cao Xueping had never cared about Luo Huian and his relationship because he knew that Fan ilin didn’t care about Luo Huian. He knew that even if he ssed with Luo Huian, Fan ilin would not care. At worst, he would just divorce Luo Huian and then move to another city or place where he would start a new life.
But now things were different. He cared about Luo Huian and feared losing her. Thus, Cao Xueping would not stop. Even if Fan ilin tried to stop him today, he would try to reach Luo Huian again and again until he could relay everything to Luo Huian. He knew that these secrets were sothing that could potentially ruin Fan ilin, and his fear would only make Cao Xueping even more emboldened. Since that was the case, then he might as well do what Bai Shiliu was telling him to do.
Or else, what other choice did he have? Stick close to Luo Huian until the day the two of them died and look over his shoulders every ti to make sure that Cao Xueping would not sneak behind them and tell the truth to Luo Huian when he was not paying attention to her? This was sothing that was humanly impossible. Not to ntion it would only make Luo Huian disgusted with him.
But would she be any less disgusted after she finds out the truth about ?
Fan ilin thought worriedly as he peered out of the window and looked at the two people who could potentially ruin or build his life.
"Don’t think too much," said Bai Shiliu as she leaned back on the chair and covered her eyes with her forearm. She said to him, "Even if you think over and over again, you will not be able to co up with a plausible reaction that would fit in the reality. Luo Huian is a human being; her reactions after learning the truth will be her own and she will react in her own way. So there is no point in thinking about how she is going to react."
Fan ilin clenched his fists on the lap as he tried to will the tears away. He said to her, "But what if she tells to go away? What if she says that she does not want ? Then what am I going to do?"
"Then she is not worthy of you," Bai Shiliu remarked. "Fan ilin, have so confidence in yourself, even if you made so mistakes, you were also a victim of the lies that were told to you. So, unless Luo Huian is an idiot, she will not let you go. Anyway, your virtue mark has nothing to do with your virtues. Your love for Luo Huian will not get any less just because you had another woman in your life before her. And if Luo Huian is smart enough, she will understand this as well."
Her words brought a crushing relief in Fan ilin’s heart. He closed his eyes and shed the tears that were swimming in his eyes. Bai Shiliu sighed upon hearing the cries of the r; she raised her hand and patted him on the head.
On the other side, at the small corner of the parking lot, Cao Xueping stared at Luo Huian. His eyes shone with a glint that he couldn’t explain himself; after all, Luo Huian was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. She was not only pretty but also quite charming, which made his heart beat escalate to the point that he wished he could dive right in to her arms. Even though he was married, the charm that this woman held was enough to make him forget all about it for a few seconds of happiness.
"Are you going to speak?" Luo Huian asked as she took a look at the r who kept staring at her; though she knew that she was really pretty, she still felt slightly annoyed when she thought about how others just kept looking at her face like she was so sort of rare puppy that could be stared at for no matter how long.
"It’s not their fault." Xiao Hei stared at the young r who was staring at Luo Huian with an infatuated look in his eyes. He said to Luo Huian, "Your aura has a subtle charm within it; the rs just cannot help it."
Luo Huian was also aware of this but that didn’t an that she liked them looking at her face. She suppressed her annoyance and said to Cao Xueping, "If there is nothing else, then I will take my leave."
She turned around to leave, but before she could take another step forward, Cao Xueping reached out and held her hand and Luo Huian imdiately flicked his hand away from her. She turned and glared at the r coldly. "Don’t touch . Do you think that you are soone who can touch willy-nilly? You have no right to touch , Master Cao."
Cao Xueping was stunned when he heard Luo Huian’s words. At first he was surprised and then his face turned dark. He recalled how Luo Huian had supported and held onto Fan ilin’s hand and waist when she was bringing him out of the hospital. She didn’t have any problem with touching that r or that r touching her but she would not let him touch her. What did it an? She was a woman who wouldn’t let anyone else other than her rs approach her. And yet his wife! She was going around touching every single r she could find—as long as the r resembled Fan ilin, she would go and sleep with him.
Compared to that, Luo Huian was still much better; at least she took her vows with her r husbands more seriously than his wife could ever.
"I am sorry," Cao Xueping said as he lowered his head and softly said to her, "Forgive for overstepping my boundaries. It was my fault for not thinking it over and touching you without your consent but you were leaving and I was in a hurry to stop you." Though he was polite and humble, inwardly he was cursing Fan ilin for having a luck as good as this; he actually got a wife who would only touch him but won’t let another r get close to her.
Thinking over it, Cao Xueping realised that if Luo Huian didn’t allow a r to approach her, the chances of her going to so random r were even less.
Luo Huian clenched her jaw hard. She tried to suppress the anger in her heart and closed her eyes before saying to the r, "Just tell what you want to say to ."
Cao Xueping snapped out of his thoughts and then said to her, "Miss Luo, I want to ask you, what do you know about Fan ilin?"
"And I want to ask you what you an by this question?" Luo Huian tilted her head to one side and questioned.
Cao Xueping frowned; he thought that if he began speaking, Luo Huian would definitely show so kind of interest in the topic but how should he say it? She looked really bored. Like the topic didn’t interest her in the slightest. How could it be? The spies that he had shoved inside the Luo family had told him, Luo Huian hated Fan ilin because of the past that he shared with Liao Hong. how could she not be bothered by his past all of a sudden?
She must be pretending. Yes, she must be pretending. There was no woman in this world who would not be bothered by the fact that her husband had slept with so other woman before getting married to her.
Even Liao Hong was the sa; even though she slept with Fan ilin, she still looked for his virtue mark on the night when they shared their bed for the first ti. So how could Luo Huian not be bothered by it? He sucked in a breath and then said to Luo Huian, "I didn’t an anything by that. I heard what happened between you and my wife, Miss Luo, and I think that it’s about ti you find out the truth, lest you be fooled by that husband of yours."
"I cannot watch a woman as good as you being led around by the nose by a r like that—or else you will keep punching innocent won like my wife after getting lied to by Fan ilin."
