Chapter 632: Looking for Nan Zhi
Qi Yongrui turned around and looked at Fan ilin, who was staring at him with a look of sheer annoyance.
“I should be the one asking you this very question. What are you doing roaming around at such an odd hour?” Qi Yongrui asked with a hint of a frown on his face. He thought that everyone was asleep, but Fan ilin was walking around the farmhouse. Was he planning on playing the role of a ghost or sothing? But then again, since when did racers start acting?
Fan ilin rolled his eyes and said to him, “I am not roaming around for no reason.” he raised his hand and showed the phone that he was clutching onto and explained, “I received a call from the company. They want to return and join the seasonal race. According to them, as the ace racer, I have my own responsibilities that I need to bear.”
As soon as he finished speaking, his lips curled up in a mocking sneer. He was truly shocked by the shalessness of the people. It was Liao Hong who suspended him and tried to coerce him into giving in. She even pulled a more charming and younger racer to topple him from the position of the ace racer.
Fan ilin didn’t say a word against it, as he truly didn’t care about the position of the ace racer. The one thing that he liked was racing, and he could enjoy it at any ti, so even if soone replaced him, he would have silently stepped back. Even if it ant losing what he had gained.
But he never expected the company to put his na down in the race without him giving his permission. The call that he received was from the managent, who simply relayed to him that he needed to join the race before ending the call. Fan ilin had indeed called back, as he wanted to curse the wretched man who had called him in the middle of the night to tell him that he needed to join the race.

Fan ilin then dropped his hand to his side and questioned Qi Yongrui, “But what are you doing here? What happened?”
He thought that Qi Yongrui was outside his room because he wanted to digest his food or sothing, but by the ti he finished listening to what Qi Yongrui had to say, he was stunned.
But soon his temper rose, and he said to Qi Yongrui, “Just what is the aning of this? How could they allow a child to step out of the hospital without even checking what was wrong?”
Qi Yongrui sighed. He said to Fan ilin, “That’s what I was thinking as well. I cannot believe that the nurses actually allowed a child to walk out of the hospital without caring to see what and where that girl was until it was too late.”
Qi Yongrui was also worried, but it was already too late for them to do anything. If the nurses had at least bothered to peek inside Nan Zhi’s ward before the girl left the hospital premises, they could have at least done sothing. But knowing that the child was long gone, there was little to nothing that they could do at the mont.
“And what did you an by that the girl is the vessel of a hollow?” Fan ilin asked with a frown on his lips. He had seen the little girl, and she didn’t resemble a Hollow vessel. But then again, it was nearly impossible for his wife to be wrong. She was the only one who could handle Glooms and Hollows. If Luo Huian was the one who said that Nan Zhi was a vessel for Hollow, then there was a very good chance that the girl truly had a Hollow within her.
Even if there was not much known about the people who would beco the vessels of Glooms and Hollows, there was one thing in common between them. They were riddled with desires to kill and were quite depressed because of their sufferings.
Maybe Nan Zhi, who suffered at the hands of her stepfather, had unconsciously brought in a Hollow and beco its vessel.
Fan ilin’s expression turned a bit worried. Even though he knew that Luo Huian could deal with the Hollows and Glooms without any worries, as a husband who had finally accepted his wife, he couldn’t help but worry and look at the expression on Qi Yongrui’s face; he finally understood why this r was sitting in front of the balcony and staring at the moon instead of going to sleep.

On the other hand, Luo Huian, who had made two of her husbands worried out of their minds, had no idea what was going on. She was currently driving back to the city and calling Luo Qingling. When the woman picked up the call, she relayed everything that she knew and said to her, “I think that girl might be heading to the gambling house or the apartnt building where Ye Jinglan lives or usually goes. You should send soone to check it out.”
Luo Qingling didn’t expect such a turn of events. If she had known that things would blow out of proportion like this, she would have released the evidence a bit sooner. However, she thought that the matter had just started to gather heat; it was better for it to beco bigger and bigger before she released the evidence, such that Ye Jinglan would never be able to wash away the stain of tornting his stepchildren and killing his wives.
Who would have thought that just a little delay would cause such trouble? She pinched the space between her brows and then said to Luo Huian, “I will send so of the hunters to see if that girl has sneaked close to Ye Jinglan.”
However, inwardly, Luo Qingling didn’t have much hope. Nan Zhi had left the hospital three hours ago, which ant that she was already in the city. Even if she were to send the hunters to track down Ye Jinglan, it would still be too late because Nan Zhi knew Ye Jinglan better than they did. If Nan Zhi was already in the city, then Luo Qingling was certain that the little girl would most probably have gone looking for Ye Jinglan by now.
Even if the hunters went looking for her now, it would be too late for them.
Of course, this was sothing that Luo Huian knew as well. The only reason she called Luo Qingling was because of a ‘what if’ situation. If they could find Nan Zhi before the infestation of the Hollow exploded, it was well and good, but if they could not, then she could only hope that the hunters would be able to hold it back until she arrived in the city.
This was sothing that Luo Qingling already knew. She didn’t need Luo Huian to tell her these things. Luo Qingling gave Luo Huian her word that she would hold off the hollow as long as she could without the council interfering and killing it, but at the sa ti, she urged Luo Huian to hurry back to the city.
Though the hunters were the ones responsible for killing the Hollows and Glooms, there were tis when the council would step in. With Gu Sirou against their guild, she was almost certain that the woman would make a move the second she realised that they were trying to hold the Hollow off and not kill it.
Luo Huian frowned upon hearing this. She had seen Gu Sirou at the last eting, and she hadn’t liked the presence of the woman. Even though she had never run across that woman before in her life, sothing about her simply irked Luo Huian to the point that she wished to either clear the woman off the face of the earth or stay clear of her path.
“I understand,” Luo Huian said to Luo Qingling before ending the call. She then patted Xiao Hei on the back and said to him, “You heard her; if we don’t arrive at the city, I am afraid things will get out of hand.”
“So, hurry.”
