Su Mu gave a strong tug, pulling the big creature onto the surface of the river.

He put down his fishing rod and walked closer to take a look.

This fish was a full ter long, with an elongated body, a wide head, a flattened tail, and a blunt snout.

From Su Mu’s own experience, it seed to be a leopard shark, but it was different from an ordinary leopard shark, which got its na from the spots covering its body.

However, this leopard shark did not have leopard spots. Instead, it was black, resembling a series of runes stretching from head to tail.

The tail was like a sharp sword, shimring coldly, appearing very sharp.

The most striking feature was its eyes, which were sapphire blue and profoundly deep, but at this mont they were filled with terror.

It should be considered a mutated leopard shark.

Once stranded on the shore, the leopard shark began to roll vigorously, preparing to flip back into the water.

Seeing this, Su Mu wasn’t going to give it a chance. He pressed down hard with both hands, preparing to drag it away from the water. This leopard shark was clearly a Treasure Fish, and there was no way he could let it get away.

Every true angler knows that losing a wife is painful for a little while, but losing a big fish that’s already in hand is regrettable for a lifeti, the kind that makes you want to slap yourself when you think back on it.

"Ouch."

"Quite strong indeed."

Even though Su Mu was holding it down with both hands, the leopard shark’s strength was imnse, almost flipping him off.

Imdiately, Su Mu kicked it several ters away to keep it further from the water’s edge.

That kick subdued the leopard shark, and it stayed on the ground, not daring to move.

As Su Mu approached and crouched down, the leopard shark suddenly opened its large mouth, revealing sharp fangs, and bit toward Su Mu.

Even though it was stranded, its speed was still incredible.

Fortunately, Su Mu was prepared and dodged to the side. The force of that bite made Su Mu feel a sense of oppression; had he been bitten, he would likely have been injured.

This type of Treasure Fish, especially a shark, should not be underestimated for its combat capability.

After missing with the bite, the leopard shark suddenly sprang up, leaping several ters in just a breath’s ti, just as it was about to jump back into the water.

Su Mu waved his hand, his blood and energy surging, and the mighty Spiritual Power instantly immobilized the Treasure Shark in mid-air, pulling it back by force.

"Hey little guy, you’re quite fierce, aren’t you."

This was the first ti Su Mu encountered such a ferocious Treasure Fish, seeming unafraid of him. Even though he was much stronger, it dared to attack him.

Feisty, I like it.

The forcibly retrieved Treasure Shark never took its eyes off Su Mu. Although its gaze was filled with fear, its fighting spirit remained undiminished.

This Treasure Shark, with such a strong and fierce combat capability, definitely couldn’t be kept.

If it was kept in my aquarium, it would devour all the smaller fish.

So, better to eat it myself!

It’s been a long ti since I’ve had Treasure Fish.

To thoroughly subdue it, Su Mu raised his fist and punched the shark’s head hard several tis.

The punches left it completely dazed and compliant.

To be honest, Su Mu had never eaten shark at before. In his previous life, many sharks were protected species, and as a law-abiding citizen, he couldn’t dare eat those precious creatures.

How should shark be cooked to taste good?

He had tried steaming, boiling, and sashimi.

Suddenly, Su Mu thought of sothing, his eyes lit up, maybe sothing different today!

Su Mu hoisted the shark up.

It was quite heavy, enough for even Su Mu to feel its weight, proving that Treasure Fish truly were different from ordinary fish. Weight was a significant trait.

He carried the Treasure Shark back to the stone house, under the willow tree.

After setting it down, Su Mu walked into the stone house to look for tools.

At this mont, seeing Su Mu leave, the Treasure Shark started struggling again, preparing to leap back into the water.

Imdiately, a willow branch dropped, wrapping and binding the escaping Treasure Shark.

Once the willow branch had bound it, the Treasure Shark could no longer move. No matter how it struggled, it couldn’t escape the willow’s grasp.

Su Mu ca out holding a silver spear.

He saw the Treasure Shark tied up by the willow, indicating that it had tried to escape and was promptly captured by the tree.

Seeing this, Su Mu patted the willow, smiling, "Not bad, I’ll reward you later."

The life force of this Treasure Shark was truly tenacious. Even after being kicked and punched, it still had the strength to attempt an escape. If not for the willow’s interference, it might have gotten away while he looked for tools in the stone house.

Most importantly, it was very clever, pretending to lose its mobility, waiting for a chance to flee.

Su Mu approached, raising the silver spear.

Aiming at the Treasure Shark’s head, he said, "Don’t worry, I won’t tornt you. I’ll give you a quick death."

With that, he thrust the spear towards the shark’s head.

The strike felt like it hit a chunk of iron, barely penetrating a few milliters.

Surprised, Su Mu found the head truly hard.

For this, Su Mu apologized to the Treasure Shark, truly intending to give it a quick end.

Taking a deep breath, Su Mu wrapped Spiritual Power around the spear tip and thrust it again.

Thump—

Again, only a few milliters deep, not lethal enough.

At this point, Su Mu took out a silver dagger, knowing that his trusty old companion was needed at critical monts.

When the Treasure Shark saw the silver dagger in Su Mu’s hand, genuine fear was evident in its eyes, clearly afraid of the dagger.

Holding the dagger, Su Mu said, "My apologies earlier, now I’ll give you a swift end!"

With that, he thrust forcefully, the blade piercing through its skull, instantly taking its life.

Su Mu wasn’t a saint, but he was definitely not an unscrupulous villain. In everyday situations, if he encountered stranded or injured small fish and shrimp, he would lend a helping hand.

The Treasure Shark wasn’t at fault; this world operates on survival of the fittest, and he was just trying to get stronger.

If it weren’t a Treasure Fish, Su Mu would have let it go.

But it was, so there was no choice.

If one day, he beca the fish on the chopping block, the other party would undoubtedly kill him without hesitation, and that was normal.

Holding the silver dagger, Su Mu sliced open the Treasure Shark’s belly, cleaning out the innards, filling a big bucket. These weren’t ordinary innards, and while he wouldn’t eat them himself, he certainly wouldn’t waste them.

Carrying the bucket to the riverbank, he whistled.

In the next mont, Little Mahi and Kong Yao happily ca to the shore.

"Today, I’ll give you sothing special to eat."

With that, he tossed the Treasure Fish innards into the water, and the two fish began feasting, savoring every bite.

Soon, more than half the bucket was gone.

After eating, their bodies glimred with spots of golden light.

Suddenly, Little Mahi’s body began to undergo a transformation.
