Su Mu looked at the small mound in front of him, his heart stirred.

He stood on top of the small mound, crouched down, and gently stroked the soft soil with his right hand.

With a wave of his hand, a shovel appeared in his hand, but he hesitated to dig.

After much hesitation, he put the shovel away and began digging with his hands.

As he dug, he suddenly felt a chill emanating from the mound.

Suddenly, his hands hit a hard layer, and after brushing away the soil.

"This is...."

It was an ice coffin, ford by the solidification of river water from outside.

Peering through the transparent ice coffin, he found it empty.

In an instant, he seed to breathe a sigh of relief.

Su Mu was truly worried he might unearth sothing.....

Although he didn’t know what exactly he was worried about unearthing, he felt an inexplicable anxiety...

Seeing the ice coffin empty, he sat upright on it, exhaling deeply.

The previous three thousand tombstones had disappeared, leaving only this small mound, and no one was buried within it.

So.... where did my earlier grief-stricken emotions co from?

Why did I feel such suffocating grief when facing this small mound? This grief stemd from no array or other influence, but purely from within.

He carefully examined the ice coffin and discovered an anomaly.

It is well known that water’s density is greater than ice’s. When water freezes into ice, although its volu expands, its weight remains unchanged.

But Su Mu found that this ice coffin was many tis heavier than the original river water, perhaps even a hundred tis heavier!

This ans the coffin was crafted with a hundred tis the river water.

He also discovered that the ice coffin was completely sealed with no lid, very sturdy, and from any angle of attack, it was difficult to open a breach.

Su Mu extended his right hand and touched the surface of the ice coffin.

With a thought, yet the ice coffin showed no signs of lting!

His "Solidification" divine technique seed ineffective against this ice coffin!

This ice coffin was indeed ford by the solidification of external river water, theoretically, he should be able to use the Water Control Divine Technique on it as long as it’s river water.

Su Mu’s right hand could pass through the ice coffin without obstruction, proving the surface was still under his control, but he just couldn’t lt it!

.....

Gazing at the ice coffin, Su Mu fell into deep thought.

Recent events have beco more and more bizarre, increasingly incomprehensible...

At this mont, Su Mu seed uninterested in the origin of the "eyeball".

What he now wanted to know was, who crafted this ice coffin? Who was frozen inside? Why did he cry?

Could it be, aside from himself, there was another River Guardian for this river?

"Can you enlighten ?"

Su Mu asked the system.

If there was a second River Guardian, only the system would know.

After speaking, the system remained silent and did not answer Su Mu’s question.

"All these years, I have never asked you any questions..... This ti, it’s my first to ask, hoping you can give an answer."

After a long while, the system’s voice finally echoed in Su Mu’s mind: [Sorry, I cannot answer this question for you.]

[However, I can answer another question for you.]

[There is only you as the River Guardian for this river, absolutely no second person.]

Receiving this answer, Su Mu remained silent for a long ti.

It seems, the answer to this question must still be sought by himself.....

However, at least he knew, he was the sole River Guardian, this river was still under his control alone...

....

Gazing at the ice coffin before him, Su Mu suddenly thought of sothing.

He left an item inside the ice coffin.

Then he restored the excavated soil, reverting the small mound to its original state.

After completing all this, Su Mu turned and left without looking back.

Just as he was about to leave the grassland cetery, Su Mu stopped, turned around, and looked at the distant small mound.

After a deep gaze, he then turned and departed.

Since no one could give him an answer now.

Perhaps, ti will tell him the answer.....

.....

At this very mont, in a certain Chaos Space among the Ten Thousand Realms.

Three majestic chaotic human shadows stood in the void...

"It seems this ti we failed completely....."

At this, an elderly voice ca from the first chaotic shadow.

Once these words fell, everyone lapsed into brief silence.

After a long while, the second shadow suddenly quipped sarcastically to the third shadow: "Not only did it fail, but it also exposed your true form, and you even lost an avatar."

"You’ve let the most crucial elent slip, I’d like to hear your explanation....."

....

With these words, the first and second chaotic shadows looked towards the third shadow, wanting to hear his explanation.

"You’re oversimplifying things!" the third chaotic shadow retorted angrily.

"If I hadn’t intervened tily to clean up the ss, none of you would be happy by now!"

Upon these words, the second shadow retorted coldly: "ss? Isn’t this ss of your own making?"

"What do you an?"

"How is it my ss alone?"

"You must realize that from the mont we got on the sa boat, our fates have been intertwined."

As the atmosphere beca tense.

The first chaotic shadow urged, "Alright, no one is right or wrong, all of this was caused by us three."

...

"I’m curious, how do you manage your subordinates?"

"I rember Jiang Bai has followed you for quite so ti, even if just a pawn in your eyes, when a pawn is discarded, it’s discarded, why the need for you to personally step into the River of Ti to handle it?"

The second shadow questioned the third.

.....

"I have already told you, you’re oversimplifying things."

"In the presence of the River Guardian, Jiang Bai doesn’t even qualify for death."

Upon this, the first shadow frowned: "What do you an?"

"Have you seen anyone who can solidify the River of Ti?"

His voice echoed throughout the Chaos Space.

"Are you saying.....that River Guardian can solidify the flowing Water of Ti in the River of Ti??!" the second chaotic shadow exclaid.

"Impossible..."

"Solidifying ti in a specific world isn’t unusual, but over the River of Ti, solidifying the Water of Ti, that’s utterly impossible!"

Hearing this, the third shadow sneered, "Heh....."

"Just because you can’t, doesn’t an others can’t."

The first chaotic shadow pondered for a long ti before slowly stating, "That implies, the control that River Guardian has over the River of Ti has reached a higher level....."

....
