The next day.

In the Sujiang TV Station studio.

The program "Talent Stage" is an adaptation of the famous foreign show "Talent Show," and it retains its original flavor.

Sujiang TV Station is quite well-known in the country. Earlier, there was a matchmaking program called "If You Are the One," which was a big hit, and later, there was "Super Brain," a show combining science and entertainnt, which helped Sujiang TV Station solidify its spot in the top ten of dostic satellite channels.

Now, with this program, it once again broke into the top ten ratings for the sa ti slot in the country. Otherwise, the Nanshan Group would not have spent money to beco their sponsor.

The entire studio, with about six to seven hundred seats, was completely filled. Li Zhun, following Gu Bai’s instructions, asked the program team to choose a spot among the crowd. Otherwise, the VIP seats would be too conspicuous, and Yan Shen would see them at a glance.

The reason for the program’s high popularity, besides its inherent selling points, is that Sujiang TV Station invited several celebrities with a certain level of fa as judges.

There is the famous singing perforr Cai Tongqing, top dostic singer Han Hong, and CCTV host Ni Ping. Besides these veterans of the entertainnt circle, they also invited a highly controversial figure, Guo Jingming.

As for the panel of judges, although the lineup is not exactly luxurious, they are certainly well-known figures.

As the program began, Sujiang TV’s star host ng Fei ca out.

His shiny bald head paired with a red suit made him look exceptionally festive.

"Welco everyone to the live broadcast of Sujiang TV’s weekend 8 PM slot’s large-scale reality show ’Talent Stage.’ I am the host, ng Fei!"

With ng Fei’s opening remarks, the shills hired by the TV station imdiately began to build up the atmosphere, and the uninford audience also clapped madly.

Wearing a mask, Gu Bai looked around at the surrounding atmosphere and said to Li Zhun, "This show is indeed good."

Li Zhun nodded, "In terms of nationwide variety shows, it’s not the top, and there’s a gap compared to the current phenonon-level show ’Creation 111’ that you’re part of. But it is among the forefront, with an advantage that ’Creation 111’ can’t match; it wins in the long run. Shows like ’Creation 111’ may have explosive popularity, but they last at most two months, while ’Talent Stage’ is different. As long as enough people sign up, it can maintain its popularity for two years, or even longer."

Gu Bai nodded slightly in agreent.

However, while this kind of show might make so money, to Gu Bai, it’s not significant. After ’Creation 111,’ his goal should aim further, with no need to keep playing in the entertainnt circle here. If he wants to play, he should go to the foreign entertainnt industry.

After chatting with Li Zhun for about half an hour, two talent contestants ca on stage.

No exceptions, both were grassroots rural folks with unique skills, which aligns with the program’s mission: to be accessible to the people. If they invited a hall-level music artist to perform a shocking piece, ordinary people wouldn’t understand or appreciate it.

While Gu Bai and Li Zhun were chatting, Gu Bai’s phone chid with a notification.

"I’m going on stage! Are you watching?"

Gu Bai was about to send a cheer-up ssage, but before his two-word ssage "Good luck" could be sent, he saw Yan Shen slowly walking on stage, so he deleted the prepared ssage and put away his phone.

Yan Shen wore a simple black casual outfit, light blue jeans on the bottom, paired with white sneakers, her long hair cascading over her shoulders. Even with such a simple ensemble, she caught the eyes of the judges and audience. After all, compared to the previous two wholeso farrs, this youthful and vibrant girl was certainly more favored—not out of discrimination against farrs, but because people are sensory creatures; the first sensory impression often determines the image in their mind.

The only drawback was the fabric mask Yan Shen wore. Apart from her eyes being visible, her facial features were completely obscured.

Seeing Yan Shen dressed like this, Gu Bai chuckled and shook his head.

Because the mask Yan Shen wore was the one Gu Bai had given her when they toured the Great Wall in the Capital City, he didn’t expect she still had it and wore it on the show.

Seeing Yan Shen on stage, ng Fei humorously hosted, "I didn’t expect the third contestant to be a masked heroine. Is this contestant going to show us a lost martial art of Hua Country?"

Facing ng Fei’s good-natured teasing, Yan Shen smiled shyly.

"Hello, Mr. ng Fei, hello, judges, my na is Yan Shen, I’m currently a student at Jinling Art College."

After hearing Yan Shen’s self-introduction, Han Hong responded, "Yan Shen, right? Can you tell us why you’re wearing a mask on the show?"

Yan Shen hesitated for a few seconds, then respectfully replied, "For so personal reasons, it’s inconvenient to show my face. I checked with the program team before coming on the show, and they said I could not show my real appearance, so I wore a mask on stage."

Upon hearing Yan Shen’s answer, Han Hong expressed understanding and gave her a friendly smile.

But at this mont, an androgynous voice sounded from the edge of the judging panel.

"However, since you’re already on the show, I think you should be more open. Everyone on ’Talent Stage’ has their dreams. Even if you have so defects on your face, I think the audience shouldn’t mind, right?"
