At seven o’clock in the evening, at an outdoor food stall outside the Shanghai Theatre Academy.

It’s already very cold in Shanghai during the winter, and all the food stalls had set up wind shields around them. Since today was the last day before winter break, the entire street of food stalls was already filled with students from the Shanghai Theatre Academy.

The main business on this street usually ca from the students, and with winter break approaching, their business for the year was also coming to an end. The stall owners were especially diligent, serving dishes very quickly, hoping to earn a bit more.

In his past life, Gu Bai was a regular on this food stall street, but since getting the system, he hadn’t been here even once.

Just as he walked up to the wind shield of the food stall, he heard the chatter of his classmates.

"Monitor, did Gu Bai say what ti he’s coming?"

Zhong Jiajia’s voice was sowhat hesitant, and she replied uncertainly, "He should be here soon, I already ntioned in the group that the ti is seven o’clock."

As soon as Zhong Jiajia finished speaking, soone said to the inquiring classmate, "What’s your hurry? Do you think Gu Bai has as much free ti as you? So what if he’s a little late, there’s nothing going on, just wait."

"I was just asking, what’s wrong with that..."

Even though Gu Bai wasn’t there, these classmates held him in enough respect and didn’t say anything bad behind his back.

Deng Bo heard the voice inside and jokingly said to Gu Bai, "Not bad, White Pieces, who would’ve thought you had such a high reputation in your class."

Gu Bai gave him a knowing look, bypassed the wind shield, and walked in.

When the directing class students saw Gu Bai arrive, they all stood up. Zhong Jiajia had been wondering when Gu Bai would arrive, and now seeing him there, her whole heart settled down.

"Gu Bai, you’re here."

Gu Bai smiled and nodded slightly at Zhong Jiajia, then said in an apologetic tone, "Sorry, I didn’t know which stall it was when I ca, so it took a bit of ti."

All the students in the directing class, both male and female, quickly laughed it off, saying it was okay.

"Since you’re here, sit down first."

As the class monitor and the initiator of this outing, Zhong Jiajia naturally took on the role of the host.

Gu Bai glanced around and saw three big round tables behind the wind shield. Including Gu Bai, there were only 22 people in the directing class, and ordinarily, two tables would suffice. But Zhong Jiajia had arranged three tables today, obviously having taken into account Gu Bai’s earlier ntion of bringing a few friends.

"These are my roommates, from the acting departnt."

Just as Gu Bai was about to introduce Deng Bo and the others to his classmates, soone chid in, "We know them, Deng Bo, Lou Xun, and Wen Cunming."

As they spoke, their eyes were filled with envy.

There’s no wall that doesn’t let through wind; the news of Wen Cunming and Lou Xun joining Gu Bai’s company had long since spread, stirring much envy, jealousy, and resentnt among the students at the academy.

It’s said that when one person achieves success, even their chickens and dogs ascend to heaven. To sign with a company while still in school is almost every Shanghai Theatre Academy student’s dream, let alone with a giant entertainnt group like Black Swan.

It could be said that the entire Dorm 404 had beco infamous in the academy all because of Gu Bai.

Since they all knew each other, Gu Bai was too lazy to continue introducing them and directly found an empty seat, which excited the girl next to him so much that she couldn’t help but tremble.

Gu Bai couldn’t help but ask curiously, "What’s wrong with you?"

The girl hurriedly stamred, "N-nothing..."

This scene made everyone around burst into laughter.

As for Deng Bo and the other two, they sat at another empty table, and as soon as they sat down, soone imdiately sidled up to fraternize with them.

This group of university students all had impressively high emotional intelligence. Not daring to get chummy with Gu Bai, they decided to take a different approach, planning to start with Gu Bai’s friends.

Gu Bai was fine with it, after all, it was a class gathering, and he shouldn’t neglect his classmates to look after the three of them.

Ten minutes later, the atmosphere in the room started to warm up.

The students of the directing class found out that Gu Bai was quite down-to-earth and could take a joke.

Being young people, they gradually beca less reserved, and Gu Bai occasionally told a tily risque joke, which made a few of the girls blush. When the few female director students looked at Gu Bai again, their eyes couldn’t help but sparkle.

To put it bluntly, Gu Bai in front of them was young, wealthy, suave, and handso. If there were a nationwide vote right now for the ideal boyfriend for young won aged 18-30, Gu Bai would undoubtedly win by a large margin, not to ntion these few girls who had already had close contact with him.

Amidst the laughter and chatter, the food stall owner and waiters brought out the food Zhong Jiajia had ordered earlier.

A big pile of skewers plus three big grilled fish weighing six to seven pounds each.

I must say, these two are definitely the best dishes for a street food party.

After placing the grilled fish in the middle of the table with the owner, Zhong Jiajia smiled sowhat awkwardly, "I don’t know if you’re used to this, but if not, just make do with a few bites."

Hearing her words, Gu Bai couldn’t help but roll his eyes and then directly picked up his chopsticks, grabbed a piece of fish belly, and put it in his mouth. The spicy, savory flavor imdiately spread in his mouth, but he ate too quickly and burned his mouth, needing to blow on it several tis to cool down.

"Have you been brainwashed by those domineering CEO dramas, thinking that a man with my ’domineering CEO’ aura only eats steak and caviar and nothing else?"
