Before reaching the classroom, the phone rang.

Gu Bai glanced at the incoming call display, a puzzled look imdiately appeared on his face.

He had just arrived at school, how did Director Lu Ang know?

"Director Lu."

After answering the phone, Gu Bai said with a grin.

"Back at school?"

"Just got back, it’s only been a few minutes. As expected of the director, you certainly have your ways, getting the news so quickly."

"Stop joking around, who else but you in the whole school can afford to sit in a Bentley worth over ten million? You just arrived at the gate, and the security called the administrative office!"

Is it because he’s too ostentatious?

And he hasn’t even driven the 90 million Poison yet.

Upon hearing this, Gu Bai gave an awkward smile: "Director, if there’s nothing urgent, I’ll head back to class. As a student, studying is my top priority!"

"If you still rembered you’re a student, you wouldn’t have been absent for half a month!

Alright, stop with the nonsense, co to the school eting room; the dean and I are both here."

"Huh?"

Before Gu Bai could react, Lu Ang had already hung up.

Though puzzled, Gu Bai still changed direction, heading straight towards the school eting room.

A few minutes later, Gu Bai knocked on the eting room door and then pushed it open to enter.

The large eting room was already filled with Shanghai Theatre Academy leadership. As Gu Bai entered, everyone’s gaze was fixed on him. If he were an ordinary student, he might be too nervous to speak at this point, but Gu Bai, who has conversed at the sa table as the mayor, finds this kind of situation a re trifle.

"Good afternoon, leaders of the school."

No matter what, these are his teachers, and respect must be shown. He greeted them with a smile.

"This is student Gu Bai; I won’t introduce him any further, as I’m sure you’re all familiar with his na."

Dean Wu Changyong, sitting at the head of the eting table, smiled at everyone.

"Let’s congratulate student Gu Bai on the successful establishnt of his Black Swan Group."

As Wu Changyong finished speaking, the room filled with applause.

Although Gu Bai ca here as a student, everyone here certainly would not regard him rely as a student.

"Thank you all for your concern."

With Gu Bai’s polite response, Mr. Wu Changyong invited Gu Bai to find a seat and continued: "There are three additional outstanding alumni slots for 2017; student Gu Bai is the only one to receive this honor while still enrolled. Let’s give a round of applause to student Gu Bai."

Standing next to Lu Ang, Gu Bai barely sat down before quickly standing up again to express his thanks.

His election as an outstanding alumnus was within his expectations, and there was no need to decline. Besides, setting aside the teaching building he donated to the school, given his current wealth and social status, he would undoubtedly hold the title of outstanding alumnus in any school in Hua Country.

After the applause, the eting returned to the main topic.

Wu Changyong: "Let’s speak freely about the school celebration issue."

As the words fell, the Director of the Performing Arts Departnt took over and said: "I think it’s best to celebrate within the school as usual, since it’s not a milestone anniversary, there’s no need for a grand event."

Upon hearing the Performing Arts Director’s words, Lu Ang unhappily said: "We’ve been established since 1945, making it 72 years, but we have never had a decent school celebration!

Director Zhang says it’s not a milestone celebration, so I’d like to ask, was our 70th anniversary, our 60th anniversary grand? It’s not that I’m vain, but events like school celebrations represent the school’s image!"

"A school’s image should be earned through actual achievents, not through such intangible celebrations!"

"If you can’t even make an achievent out of a celebration, what can you expect to accomplish?!"

Lu Ang directly disputed with Director Zhang from the Performing Arts Departnt, and several other influential leaders joined the debate as well. The discussion revolved around whether to go big or just go through the motions.

In an instant, the large eting room turned into a marketplace, with constant noise and even so swearing, showing no scholarly deanor.

Gu Bai was just a student and didn’t want to get involved, so he sat beside them, observing quietly from the outside.

Wu Changyong watched as the leadership quarreled loudly in front of a student and frowned, massaged his temples, and slamd the table hard, saying: "Have you had enough? This is a eting where we discuss! Not a place for you to shout curses! If you want to argue, do it privately!"

Upon hearing the dean’s anger, Lu Ang and Director Zhang from the Performing Arts Departnt, the two who argued the most fiercely, stopped imdiately, and the others glared at each other and sat back down.

Two minutes of silence passed, and then Wu Changyong asked Gu Bai: "Student Gu Bai, you’re the head of the Student Union’s External Liaison Departnt, and organizing the school celebration is part of your responsibilities. Please share your opinion."

In a school eting of this level, not to ntion the head of the External Liaison Departnt, even the president of the Student Union wouldn’t typically have the right to speak. By consulting Gu Bai’s opinion, Wu Changyong was essentially treating him as an equal.

As for the other school leaders, they had no objections to Wu Changyong’s words. In fact, Gu Bai’s influence might outweigh theirs.

Upon hearing the dean’s question, Gu Bai stood up directly.
