Chapter 886: I’ll Ask Her to Be My Girlfriend When We Get Back

Nian Xi stayed silent.

This guy can really say some shocking words, she thought.

Professor Wang paused briefly, then hurriedly smiled and nodded. “You’re right. He’s even older than me. Let’s forgive him.”

“Ladies and gentlemen, I see our guests have all arrived. Let’s go in,” Bernie said as he clapped his hands.

People walked further into the museum.

Nian Xi was holding Jiang Yuning’s hand the whole time. She found that his cool hand was being hotter and hotter, and his palm was moist.

She raised their hands, wiped his palm with a tissue, then plained with a low voice, “Why are you sweating so heavily?”

“I’m nervous,” Jiang Yuning responded with an innocent voice.

“What’s to be nervous about?” Nian Xi laughed. “I get it. It’s your first time attending an international conference like this right? It’s all right. You should learn from my brother. He shamelessly believes he’s the best in the world.”

Jiang Yuning shook his head, glanced at her shyly, then lowered his head and said with an innocent face, “This is my first time holding a girl’s hand.”

Nian Xi almost choked on her own saliva. But suddenly, she felt sorry for him.

He was twenty-nine years old, yet he never held a girl’s hand before. She felt that he was even more miserable than her brother, who used to be an old virgin guy.

“It’s all right. You can try to find yourself a girlfriend when you get back,” Nian Xi whispered to him.

Jiang Yuning nodded and fell into thought.

I’ll ask her to be my girlfriend when we get back, he thought.

At that moment, Bernie who was walking before them said in a proud tone, “Let me introduce to you Alic Number One, a robot created by Elvis, a French pany; it’s for extreme environment testing. This robot is in the shape of a fish. It can not only do tests in underground sewage but is also able to undertake detecting the depth of ten thousand meters under the sea. It is made from the muscle tissue of deep-sea fishes, that allows it to withstand up to 1,000 atmospheres of pressure. Also, it can work underwater for twelve hours. It is even more durable than a tank.”

Some scientists nodded and praised the robot.

Nian Xi didn’t understand what Bernie said, as the latter was using French.

She didn’t speak French, so she looked around, and found that many scientists from Africa and Asia were with translators.

Professor Wang plained with a low voice, “These bastards are using French on purpose, aren’t they? They know that we only speak Chinese and English. They want us to be embarrassed.”

“Mr. Jiang, what do you think about this robot?” Bernie abruptly asked. “In parison with the ones that China created.”

Nian Xi got nervous. Uncle Han hadn’t translated all the French words yet, so she worried that Jiang Yuning might not be able to answer the question immediately.

He was good at physics, but she assumed English was his limit of language learning.

“What? Mr. Jiang, can’t you even answer a simple question?” Bernie said in French with a smile on his face.

Jiang Yuning glanced at the robot with a frown, then responded in French, “Earlier this year, some Chinese scientists developed a robot type like this, but we didn’t use the muscle tissues from deep-sea fishes. Instead, we made the robot with a new type of posite material, which included Nano border theory and quantum technology. Our robot type costs less than yours. To make the robot with fish muscle tissues, we would need biologists on the team, and that would be a waste of money and human resources.”

“That’s impossible. We never heard about that project in China.” Bernie didn’t believe him.
