“Hey, now.” Mo Liuxi looked over coldly. “Don’t worry, I will most definitely graduate if even soone like you can.”

“What do you an by that? Co on, I had stellar results when I was in college...” Yan Su couldn’t help but grumble.

Mo Liuxi grinned. “I was invited by your university to study there — I’m not your average student.”

Yan Su said nothing.

“Be good, eat up.” Mo Liuxi put so food in her bowl. “Let’s get married next year when you’re not busy.”

Yan Su nearly choked on her food, spitting it all out on the table.

“Yan Su, don’t be gross,” Mo Liuxi said as he wiped his face that was speckled with rice grains.

“Stop scaring ! Why would you say things like that without any warning?” Yan Su quickly gulped down a glass of water to calm herself. “Why do you want to get married all of a sudden?”

“We already have a child together. Of course, we’re getting married,” Mo Liuxi said matter-of-factly. “Firstly, I have to take responsibility for you and our child. Secondly, I truly love you. Besides, if we head over to your parents’ place on Chinese New Year and break the news that I am Yan Yan’s father without any talk of marriage, your parents will think terribly of . I’d be thankful enough if they don’t beat up and throw out of the house.”

Although he only talked to her mother briefly, he already knew that her parents might be difficult to deal with, judging by how Yan Jin acted.

Yan Su was quiet. What he said made sense. Especially her dad — he might skin Mo Liuxi alive.

“It’s decided then. We shall get married next year.” Mo Liuxi raised his eyebrows. “I’ll bring you to et my family too. They will be thoroughly shocked.”

Yan Su covered her face with her rice bowl. She was too ashad to see Luosang. She said, “Let’s not be too hasty. I don’t want our marriage to be built upon the fact that we have a child together. I want us to genuinely love each other and want to be with one another. I want us to be thoroughly compatible.”

“We tick all the checkboxes,” Mo Liuxi said confidently.

“Do we?” Yan Su asked him. “Liuxi, I thought that we were compatible when dated in the past but when we started fighting, I ca to realize that we don’t know each other well enough. There’s still a lot to learn and a lot of rough edges to smooth out. Especially your communication — you are too an sotis.”

“I love you too much, that’s why.” Mo Liuxi frowned. “You didn’t tell the truth when you were pregnant with my child. Of course, I was mad. I wanted to strangle you to death. When we t in Venice, I still hadn’t moved on yet. If I really did, I would’ve acted indifferently towards you.”

“How can I be sure that what you’re saying is true? Let’s just take things slow and see how it goes. We’re both still young anyway.” Yan Su lowered her head and ate.

“Yan Su, are you going to put on your clothes and act like you don’t know again?” Mo Liuxi smirked.

“Well I put on my clothes and made lunch for you, didn’t I?” Yan Su put so chicken into his bowl. “What’s the rush anyway? I’m yours already.”

Mo Liuxi was stunned. He was moved by what she had just said.

She was right. Things were different now. She was his woman, his significant other now.

After lunch, Mo Liuxi washed the dishes and carried her to the bed to rest. “Susu my baby, will you stay with today and not go to the studio?”

Yan Su looked up to et his gentle, warm gaze. He was showing his puppy eyes now and she thought about how scary it was that n could change so quickly. He was so an to her just a while ago. “I wasn’t planning on going. I’ll accompany you for two days.”

Mo Liuxi was thrilled. It was a happiness that ca unexpectedly. He thought they only had one day together. Two days she said. What a treat! He asked her, “Is it going to affect your competition?”

Yan Su sighed. “I’ve ranked seventh... I should spend so ti adjusting my state of mind and I need to take a break anyway. If I really end up losing, then so be it.”

“Don’t worry, you still have even if you lose.” Mo Liuxi pulled her close to his chest. “I’m so bored. Shall we do sothing?”
