Vex blinked.

Just once.

Then slowly—deliberately—he turned his head, casting a flat, expressionless look over his shoulder at the trembling woman behind him.

"...Really?"

That was all he said.

No anger. No amusent. Just weary disbelief. The voice of a man who had been through too much absurdity in too little ti.

He let out a sigh—low, long—like soone exhaling the last of his patience. Then, wordlessly, he turned away and knelt beside Lerin's unconscious body.

His hands moved with chanical precision as he stripped the man's clothes—ripping through fabric and loose buttons like soone changing batteries, not dressing a body.

The pants were rugged, worn, and a little torn at the knee, but better than nothing. Vex slipped into them, the roughness scraping lightly against his skin.

He pulled the shirt on, then the coat, moving without haste, without concern.

Not once did he glance back at Mirea.

His eyes were locked elsewhere—toward the sea.

Where the light shimred.

And then... he walked.

No drama. No pause. Just steady, deliberate steps across the sand, each one pushing through the silence like a heartbeat in a still room. The water curled at his ankles, salt licking against his skin as he moved forward, his posture heavy with purpose.

Mirea stood behind him, still trembling, still barefoot in the shifting sand. Her heart pounded—not from fear now, but confusion. The kind that rattled you quietly, in your bones.

And then—

Her skin glowed.

It started slow. A soft green pulse from deep within her, blooming like moss under moonlight. The pain in her back—the screaming, stabbing, raw agony—began to dull. Her breath hitched as she felt it fade, easing into sothing warm, like sunlight soaking into bruises.

She touched her back. Her fingers no longer t torn flesh, but smooth skin—tender and healing.

"What...?" she whispered.

Mirea slowly lifted herself up, arms wrapped around herself, trying to breathe. Her legs were shaking. Her body still felt like it didn't belong to her.

She looked at Lerin's limp body again—bare except for a small piece of cloth called underwear covering his butt, bruised, splayed out like at.

Her stomach turned.

She turned her head fast, away from that... that thing.

Let him rot.

Her gaze landed forward—out to the ocean—and her eyes locked onto sothing else.

At first, it was just a glow. Soft. Green. Like a lantern barely visible through mist.

Then her breath caught.

She saw it.

Just the top of a head, barely above the water. Blonde hair floating in slow ribbons, spread wide like it belonged to soone asleep beneath the surface. Her eyes were closed. Peaceful. And that sa green shimr danced along the edges of her skin.

Her instinct instantly rang. Given the attack, it was already ringing, hamring in her mind, but now as she saw that green light, it was as if her ability was kicking in, guiding her toward it. Clearly checking over, her body was telling her that due to her stubbornness, she had co to the mont of death.

She didn't know why, but this ti her instinct was too bright. It was sothing never witnessed, as if instead of telling her to run away from here, it wanted her to approach those people.

Mirea's breath stilled. Her pulse ticked in her ears.

She didn't even realize she'd taken a step.

But her feet moved—slowly, uncertainly—toward that light. That shape.

Not toward Lerin.

No.

Not him.

Toward them.

Both an unknown strange man and the woman.

Thus she didn't know why her instinct was supporting that naked man. Right now, she could only guess things about that woman glowing in green, as she seed to have sothing to do with healing her.

There was sothing about that stillness. That quiet. That impossible glow.

But her instinct seed to push her more toward that man, as if telling her that he was an opportunity that might never co in her life.

Her legs carried her forward, one trembling step at a ti. Sand clung to her wet ankles. Her breath was shallow, shaky.

'What am I doing...?'

She didn't know, or rather, she didn't understand why her instincts were being so proactive. Even in danger, they had never made her body react like this to the point of wanting to run away.

They always allowed her free will, but today it felt as if they were controlling her body. Though not completely, she could still retaliate, but it seed as if retaliation would cost her a lifeti of regret.

She just... had to get closer.

Ten steps away.

That's when the woman opened her eyes.

Mirea froze.

Those eyes were green.

Not normal green—alive green. Deep, impossibly clear, with this quiet intensity that hit her right in the gut. Like looking into sothing that had seen a thousand lives and wasn't fazed by any of them.

And then the woman rose from the water.

No splash. No sound. Just... lifted.

Mirea's mouth dropped open.

She blinked, hard, but the vision didn't go away.

The woman was naked. Entirely. Not a thread on her.

But she wasn't trying to cover herself. She didn't care. She moved like the ocean had dressed her in silk and let her go.

Her skin was wet, gleaming in the sunlight. Water slid down her thighs, smooth and slow, tracing the soft curve of her hips.

Her stomach was flat, her waist narrow, her breasts round and perfect, the nipples curved inward with a strange shape, letting drops of seawater trickle down those two mounds which were around the sa size as hers.

Her collarbones glistened with droplets, her shoulders soft, elegant—like she'd been sculpted, not born.

Mirea didn't even realize she was holding her breath.

Her eyes couldn't look away.

There was nothing vulgar about the woman's nakedness—just raw, unreal beauty. Too perfect.

Like a storybook princess co to life.

"...An Elven fairy...?" Mirea whispered before she could stop herself.

Her voice cracked.

And for a second, she hated herself for sounding so small.

Both Asperia and Vex heard Mirea but ignored her, as if they already knew it was obvious.

Vex reached Asperia and slowly offered her the shirt.

This idiot; Asperia was already accustod to it. After spending two days swimming naked in that ocean with this man, she felt far more comfortable like this, without hiding herself. She held the shirt before giving him an impassive look. "Where's the lower one?"

Not now, idiot. Vex didn't say much but cursed his inward self for coming out of the water like that. His area just triggered a dickless hanging between his legs, though fortunately he was wearing pants. Just, "Here. Wear this. I'll tie the coat at your waist."

She stepped forward, and Mirea's heart tripped again.

Seeing her from this close—it was too much. Her thighs shimred with seawater. Her hips swayed with this smooth, lazy grace. Her breasts bounced just a little as she moved, every step slow and natural, like her body didn't know how to be anything but elegant.

And then Vex stepped forward to help dress her.

His hand touched her waist.

And that's when Mirea saw it.

She hadn't noticed before.

But now... now she saw it.

The front of his pants was rising. Pressing outward. A thick, unmistakable shape growing against the fabric.

He wasn't moving, but his body was.

Reacting.

Mirea's face burned. Her voice cracked again.

"....P-pervert!"
