*Ding ding ding~*

A sharp bell rang.

Seii woke up from his dream, raised his head, and saw a dozen Konoha ninjas walking in from the door, the leader holding a file bag.

The words "Top Secret" were clearly written on it.

Thus, it was self-evident what was inside.

Obviously, this was the start of the first written test of the Chunin Exams.

Without the fancy testing items from later, the Jonin examiner reassigned their seats and then opened the file bag, distributing the test papers.

During this process, he only emphasized that cheating was not allowed, and didn't say anything else.

Seii received the test paper, scanned it briefly, and found that the difficulty of the questions was average. As long as one's theoretical knowledge wasn't bad, passing shouldn't be difficult.

But just passing was definitely not enough. He still had to get as high a score as possible.

Thinking this in his heart, Seii imdiately concentrated and started to answer the questions seriously.

As for cheating...

Since the other party didn't make things difficult for them in the questions, then the "no cheating" he ntioned ant that cheating was really not allowed.

Of course, if one could deceive the proctor's eyes, there probably wouldn't be any problems.

But Seii didn't need to do this. With his current knowledge reserve, it was enough to get a good score.

In that case, there was no need to complicate things.

Ti passed by.

When half of the exam ti had passed, a voice suddenly broke the silence in the classroom.

"Number 45, you can leave."

Hearing this, everyone looked in the direction of the voice. By the window, a proctor stood up and walked towards a candidate in the middle of the classroom.

The candidate's face was pale at this ti, obviously knowing what mistake he had made. His hands gripped the edge of the table, and after a struggle, he silently walked out of the classroom.

Seeing this, the proctor sat back in his seat.

Seii could clearly feel that the atmosphere in the classroom had beco much more oppressive.

But...

'What does this have to do with ?'

He muttered to himself, withdrew his gaze, and continued his journey of answering questions.

After that, four more people were caught cheating, and the first written test finally ended.

When the bell rang, everyone was asked to stay seated and not move. It was only after the Jonin examiner collected all the test papers that everyone was dismissed.

According to the exam process, the exam results would be announced at noon today.

At that ti, those who passed the written test would participate in the second assessnt of comprehensive ability.

Before that, they were free to do whatever they wanted.

Seii had stayed up all night yesterday and rushed to take the exam this morning. Now that he had ti, he naturally wanted to catch up on sleep.

After going back to sleep for two hours, when Seii returned to the Ninja Academy, the exam results had already been posted.

Without any surprises, he successfully passed the written test.

In addition, there were fifty-nine other people on the list.

Seii roughly calculated that the passing rate for the first round was about 50%, which was neither high nor low compared to previous years.

Obviously, the village didn't go easy on them in the first round.

Then the difficulty of the second round shouldn't be too high.

As for the reason...

It was simple. Konoha needed manpower now, especially middle-level strength.

If the assessnt was too difficult and only one or two Chunin were produced at a ti, how could they et the needs of the front line?

Therefore, the second assessnt would definitely not be so strict.

As for the problem of insufficient strength...

On the battlefield, as long as one could survive, they were considered elite.

As for how many people would die due to insufficient strength during this period, this was not within the consideration of the Konoha high-level officials.

From beginning to end, all they cared about was whether they could win the war.

Nothing else mattered.

Shaking his head slightly, Seii stopped thinking about it and turned to run towards Training Ground 44, also known as the Forest of Death.

That's right, the second exam was in the Forest of Death.

As a dangerous place within Konoha Village, the Forest of Death had a diater of about twenty kiloters. In the center was a tall tower, surrounded by a circle of barbed wire, and in between were forests, lakes, and rivers.

Because of its unique ecological environnt, the Forest of Death was filled with poisonous insects, ferocious beasts, and miasma, making it very suitable for testing the comprehensive qualities of ninjas.

Therefore, it had beco the most commonly used Chunin Exam venue in Konoha.

This ti was no exception.

More than ten minutes later.

Seii arrived outside the 'Forest of Death'.

At this ti, there were still more than two hours before the exam started, but many examinees had already gathered here.

They were either in groups of two or three or standing alone, but no one spoke. They just waited quietly for the exam to start.

Seii understood this very well.

Which of the ninjas present hadn't co from the battlefield? Who didn't have relatives or friends who died on the battlefield? They had once agreed to beco Chunin together, but now they were alone. How could their mood be good?

Even Seii, standing here at this mont, couldn't help but think of Mizutani Shizuko and Ryosuke, let alone others.

After adjusting his mood, Seii went to a corner, sat down cross-legged, closed his eyes, and began to refine chakra.

With the improvent of his basic attributes and the shackles of his body being broken, Seii could now not only recover chakra but also increase his maximum chakra limit by practicing the 'Chakra Refinent Technique'.

Just as he had guessed when the 'Chakra Refinent Technique' was promoted to lv4.

Now, practicing the 'Chakra Refinent Technique' for one hour could increase his maximum chakra limit by sixteen points, which was twice as much as when it was at lv3.

In this way, practicing for a maximum of eight hours a day could allow him to gain 128 chakra points in his maximum chakra limit.

According to his previous estimation, it would take about forty days for him to realize all his potential, considering the increase of 5,000 points in his maximum chakra limit this ti.

This was the benefit of having a high level of 'Chakra Refinent Technique'.

The only pity was that he still needed more than 1,400 proficiency points to upgrade the 'Chakra Refinent Technique' from lv4 to Lv5.

At his current rate of accumulating proficiency, it would take about half a year to upgrade.

This ti was too long!

Otherwise, it wouldn't be a bad way to 'increase inco' internally.

According to the previous effect of upgrading from lv3 to lv4, once his 'Chakra Refinent Technique' was upgraded from lv4 to Lv5, it would definitely increase the amount of chakra he could use every day.

Moreover, this number wouldn't be less than 1,300 points.

'Sigh! What a pity.'

Sighing inwardly, Seii stopped thinking about it and turned to focus on his training.

Ti passed by.

More and more examinees gathered here.

About an hour before the exam started, all sixty Genin who passed the written test arrived.

It was only then that the atmosphere in the field beca a bit more lively.

People were either chatting with each other or inquiring about information about others. In short, the scene beca much livelier.

During this period, Seii heard his na ntioned several tis and also occasionally felt the gazes of others, but he ignored them all.

What was the use of knowing his information? In the face of absolute strength, any conspiracy or sche was a joke.

Therefore, Seii didn't care about them observing him at all.
