However, facing these incoming attacks, Seii rely glanced at them.

The Cloud Jonin's head flew off.
Looking at the corpse, Seii shook his head.
This individual was rely a Special Jonin skilled in stealth and assassination. Once his movents were exposed, taking him down was effortless.
Ignoring the horrified gazes around him, Seii shifted his attention to the other Cloud Jonin he had trapped using Genjutsu: Sharingan—the sensor ninja of the Cloud team, Sarui.
In truth, she was simply unlucky.
She had attempted to use genjutsu on Seii earlier to disrupt his perception and judgnt, hoping to support her teammates' sneak attack.
Unfortunately for her, Seii had activated his Mangekyō Sharingan in an instant, turning the genjutsu back on her.
If he had mastered the Uchiha clan's secret technique, Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change, he could have countered even earlier using just his Three-Tomoe Sharingan.

Not daring to be distracted, Sarui imdiately leaned backward, barely dodging the attack.
Beside her, Katui seized the opportunity, stabbing his kunai directly at Seii's heart.
At this mont, Earth Release: Hardening Jutsu had already worn off, leaving Seii with only the Chakra Cloak, which was ineffective against physical attacks.
After a brief mont of consideration, he abandoned his assault on Sarui and instead withdrew his sword to parry Katui's attack.

Sarui gasped in shock and instinctively tried to retreat.
But it was too late.
Just as she moved, Seii activated Lightning Release: Thunder Flash Blade.
In an instant, dazzling lightning flared from his sword, disrupting Sarui's vision and perception.
The next mont, a cold breeze swept past.
She felt a sharp pain in her throat—followed by an overwhelming suffocation.
As the lightning faded, she clutched her neck, her vision blurring as she stared at Seii.
Her eyes were filled with despair.
"Sarui!"
Behind her, Katui shouted in anguish.
It was clear that their relationship was close.
But no amount of grief could change the outco.
Sarui was dead.
