"Why did he have to do this?" you ask.
The reason is simple: after two days of in-depth research, he confird that just using the level 5 "Shadow Clone Technique" alone would not allow him to complete the developnt of the "Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique."
With that being the case, there was no way he could further develop the "Shadow Sword Technique."
To achieve this, he needed to raise the level of the "Shadow Clone Technique."
Therefore, a proper investnt was necessary.
Additionally, there was the issue of coordinating it with the "Wind Style: Wings of Wind."
Previously, Seii believed he couldn't create shadow clones with chakra wings during flight because the "Wind Style: Wings of Wind" wasn't high enough level.
However, after long-term testing, he realized this was only a secondary issue.
The main reason was that his training with the "Shadow Clone Technique" was inadequate, which is why he couldn't perfectly replicate his current body state.
In either case, he needed to quickly improve the "Shadow Clone Technique."
With 15,000 points of chakra invested, and the passive boost from training other skills, his "Shadow Clone Technique" should now gain about 100 proficiency points per day.
In around forty days, his "Shadow Clone Technique" should successfully level up.
By then, whether he was developing the "Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique" or working on the coordination with "Wind Style: Wings of Wind," both would be easily resolved.
Moreover, as the level of the "Shadow Clone Technique" increased, he could also start experinting with the "Multi-Shadow Clone Technique."
Currently, his chakra reserves had surpassed the 100,000-point mark, enough to handle the chakra consumption of the "Multi-Shadow Clone Technique."
Though it wouldn't be imdiately useful to him, when he no longer lacked chakra, it would greatly accelerate his training.
That point of no longer lacking chakra...
Seii looked up toward the direction of Taki Village.
Months ago, he had already decided to target Seven-Tails, Chōi, as his priority for capture.
Now, with the war nearing its end...
Once the war concluded, he would have more free ti.
At that point, he could attempt to act.
As long as he got his hands on Seven-Tails, he wouldn't need to worry about chakra for a while.
By then, it would be ti for the "Multi-Shadow Clone Technique" to show its full power.
But for now, it was ti to prepare for the future.
Various thoughts flashed through his mind, but Seii suppressed his inner excitent and refocused on the skill panel in front of him.
He still had 4,000 chakra points left.
Seii's eyes scanned over his various skills.
It was clear that in the past month, all of them had improved significantly.
Among them, "Wind Style: Rasenshuriken" had directly broken through to level 6, and in the past two weeks, it had advanced even further, reaching level 7 (5900/20000).
At this rate, it would reach level 8 in about a month.
At that point, he would be one step closer to mastering this technique perfectly.
The progress was fast enough, so there was no need to invest additional chakra.
Then there was "Water Style: Water Wall" and "Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet."
Both of these skills had gained nearly 7,000 proficiency points over the past month, and in less than half a month, they would reach level 7.
Level 7 was likely the limit for these two skills.
In other words, in less than half a month, these two skills would reach perfection.
So, no need for more chakra investnt there either.
Additionally, once these skills leveled up, he would free up 40,000 chakra points for other uses.
But that was a matter for later.
Seii moved his focus from "Water Wall" and "Water Dragon Bullet" to another Water Style ninjutsu— "Water Style: Great Shark Bullet."
Since practicing this technique required a lot of chakra each ti, it was still only at level 5 (3200/5000) in terms of proficiency.
Seii decided that once he had perfected "Water Wall" and "Water Dragon Bullet," he would invest more in this skill.
For now, though, he decided to leave it as is.
His gaze continued downward, skipping over the "Shadow Clone Technique" and "Chakra Absorption Technique," and landed on "Rasengan."
After a month of training, his "Rasengan" had advanced to level 7.
Now, when using it, not only could he perform it more freely, but the amount of chakra he could gather in a single attempt had also increased.
In other words, its power was now even greater.
Additionally, this had boosted his "Chakra Control" proficiency, bringing it from level 5 (3482/5000) to level 5 (4550/5000), just shy of level 6.
Once his "Chakra Control" leveled up, he would be able to draw on more chakra when using any ninjutsu.
Thus, their power would naturally increase further.
This was a great opportunity for overall improvent.
Seii was eagerly looking forward to it.
His thoughts clear, Seii shifted his focus to the three dical ninjutsu skills— "Chakra Scalpel," "Mystical Palm Technique," and "Delicate Illness Extraction Technique."
Originally, his "Chakra Scalpel" shouldn't have progressed much due to a lack of chakra investnt.
However, after the attack on the Eagle's Beak Outpost, he had used the skill frequently while treating injured Leaf Ninja survivors.
As a result, its proficiency had shot up, now nearing the halfway point of level 6.
Both the "Mystical Palm Technique" and "Delicate Illness Extraction" had also gained more proficiency than expected due to that sa event.
The forr, after accumulating over the past month, was already at level 8, over halfway through.
The latter had reached level 5 (4100/5000), only 900 points away from level 6.
At the current rate, it would level up in no more than half a month.
Seii was satisfied with this progress.
So, there was no need for extra chakra investnt.
Lastly, he shifted his gaze to "Phantom Sword Technique" and "Instant Sword Technique."
"Phantom Sword Technique" had already reached level 7, adding another perfected skill to his repertoire.
As for "Instant Sword Technique," due to recent battles and the lack of training opportunities in recent days, its proficiency growth had been moderate, reaching level 6 (5500/10000), still so distance from level 7.
In this case, Seii could only say: you win so, you lose so.
But it was less than 5,000 proficiency points away, and with ti, he could still grind it to perfection.
After reviewing everything, the remaining 4,000 chakra points could only be spent on developing his Earth-style chakra.
Which, fortunately, was part of his original plan.
With these 4,000 chakra points, along with the Uchiha Clan's books, Seii felt he would soon break through the bottleneck and successfully develop Earth-style chakra.
Once that was done, learning "Earth Style: Hardening Technique," "Earth Style: Earth Wall," and "Earth Style: Earth Spear" would cover so of his weaknesses, further enhancing his overall strength!
