"Recently, the City had started to sell so of its assets to get more Soul Ti in reserve. So, they started to sell houses they owned to rich people like this woman's husband.

Since the City was the one who provided this land to Miss Lizzie in the first place, then they have all the right to take it away from her," the soldier explained.

Lizzie sighed to herself. Even though she had lived in this house for all her life, she had no choice but to surrender it to the City.

"Atlan, let's go. I'll find another house to live in," Lizzie said dejectedly.

But Atlan didn't budge from his spot even as Lizzie tugged on his shirt.
